Fantasy Turn of the Dark Ages

Crom saw Kyro land so he glided to the ground and did the same. "Anything we should know about this place? I can see it is perfect for a perch." He raises one wing and points to a tree. "We could probably make the houses there." Crom points to a cave. "There is a perfect location for a stable." He points to another cave. "And one more thing is that i noticed the man is probably a kingdom scout." Crom points to the man and says, "We should really kill him. No chances unless he can tell us why he was spying." He lays down and waits for something to be said.

The large man stayed silent the whole way, axe shifting on his shoulder. A grunt let him as the dragon he was settled on began to dive down, squinting his charcoal brown eyes against the wind that lashed around him before they landed. Ah, mountains. The familiar sigh brought slight ease to the behemoth, practically being placed in his own element. Scylax got off once he could, scowl still staying put on his face as it always did. "I change," his growling speech came out. "No get near unless want to be crushed," his choppy, deep, almost anciently accented voice was rather hard to understand, but the words were somewhat clear enough. Scylax started walking off, to put a safe distance between him and the others. He was easily larger than a few modern day football fields, both in length, and height, not to mention weighing into the tons.

Dropping the axe once he was far enough away, Scylax allowed his true form to exit the vessel. The pain and wear it took to hold such a huge creature in such a..."small" body was great, but over hundreds of years it became nothing.

The humongous form finally started to emerge, all six legs shaking the ground with each step, tree being crushed out of his way as if they were nothing to him. Scylax lifted his monstrous head from the ground, a growl echoing from his rows of razored teeth, claws on all six legs digging into the ground. Adjusting to his favored form took a second, his head, even if all the others squished together would not even match it's size, lowered down to the ground a few feet from where the Dragon was, the rest of his monstrous form following suit in lying down against the ground and crushing anything below him. His rocky back resembled that of a stoney, tree lacking mountain, front legs pushed out to the sides a bit with one leg having to lay in the water in order to fit where he was.

Scylax lifted his tail, hitting it against the ground to cause a small volt of energy to tremble through the ground, a grumble leaving his mouth in contentment to being out of that puny vessel.

Arisuto allowed the tip of her head to surface from the water of her lake. She watched as an array of creatures slowly approached her home, and watched them, not even taking her full body out of the water. Her scales reflected against the water as she watched them.

At first, the appeared to be human, but they all changed into magical creatures, just like her. She smiled slightly. She dove back into the water, breathing in the luxury of it, her home, before resurfacing completely, showing her monstrous form, all heads staring straight at the newcomers.

"What brings you to my lake?" She hissed loudly, two of her heads jutting forward, examining them.

"Oh look a hydra!" Crom squawked as he was surprised. "Not like your going to understand my language but is this your home? Of course it is i knew is shouldn't have followed the wisps! Now im intruding on someones home because i followed a dragon who wants extreme attention!" He gets up and walks towards a nearby cave then lays down inside. "no one has an appreciation for Gryphons anymore." He says to himself and starts to draw a translation of every Gryphon letter in the sand for everyone to read.

Scylax had stayed dormant like a typical behemoth for a while, until the hydra's heads flew from the water. A booming snarl charged from his gullet, the mountain-sized beast raising up onto all six of his legs to prove his heigher stance. Not appreciating the hydra flying out like that, Scylax bared the rows of razored teeth, which sized almost as big as a tree science to the height scale on the behemoth--something that never stopped growing for his whole life.

Obviously not one for formalities, Scylax lifted his tail and let it swish to the sides, smashing down trees carelessly in the process. The monstrous form tensed up, front legs facing towards the hydra with an infuriated growl.

Came crashing down, fist first, landing and looking at the hydra, flexing his claws, quite ready to fight it. "So, we're staying near a living hydra? Not really a smart thing in my books." Glares untrustingly at the hydra, not wanting to start a fight with a hydra without someone to help distract the heads. Stretches out his wings, snake tail hissing furiously.

Crom finished the alphabet and walked back over to Kyro. "Im going to make my nest if you don't mind." He tore down a small tree and brought it back to the cave. First he took the leaves and made a nest. Second he used the sticks to build a wall in front of the cave. Lastly he made a door with the remaining material. "See look i made my home and all of you should do the same." Crom went to the large lake and gathered a few fish before heading into the cave and eating them as a treat.

Nimiah bristled at the attendance of a Hydra, skeptical of the creature's loyaties. She remained close to Adare, doing her best to guide them both toward Scylax. She was already picking her allies wisely.

Kyro observed the man change into a Behemoth. He gave a proud glance at him for he seemed to be of a formidable creature suitable for the quest. While others...his eyes wandered to the Gryphon building a home...questioned his thoughts of their connection to the prophecy. Kyro placed his vessel gently in a safe place within the bushes and he carried the other man towards his member that seemed to be crowding around the edge of the lake.

Curiously perked him. Kyro slowly walked forward. His icy blue eyes danced with excitement at the sight of a Hydra. He made his way through the others to greet the Hydra.

"Hello. This seems to be your home. I am sorry to intrude. It is just that I grew up here when I was a youngling," Kyro said. He folded his wings in and sat laid down placing the human close to the edge of the lake. "As you can see we needed a safe place to stay away from humans," Kyro explained. "You wouldn't mind if we stayed here the night?" Kyro asked.

At seeing Kyro aproach the Hydra, Crom dropped what he was doing. "Do not try to reason with it....you will only bring yourself pain." Crom squawked at Kyro and went back to what he was doing. While working Crom began humming an old toon that most Gryphons are taught as hatchlings. He thought about home and why he followed the group of crazy misfits. "What does the prophecy ask of a lone old Gryphon?" Crom asked himself out loud.

A grumbling gullet of a growl shook his throat, humongous paws stepping forward in warning in case the hydra attempted to attack; already coming to his tie as the defender. The monstrous behemoth shifted his four back legs, creating massive craters of paw prints that belonged distinctively to a behemoth. When the dragon approached the hydra, Scylax gave a snort of air, creating a harsh gust of wind due to the size of his lungs. Head turning, rolling a shoulder blade, his charcoal brown (almost black) eyes snapped onto the true form of Nimiah trying to lead the unicorn towards his large mass. The beast turned back to the hydra, taking the dragons un-hostile words and behavior as a sign he shouldn't try to force the hydra away. Yet.

Slowly flies up, landing near a cave in a mountain, deciding the behemoth could handle this if it got ugly. "Hmm, might be a few bears around here..." looks around the cave, starving for good juicy meat. "Really? Not a bear in sight!" Storms around the cave, breaking rocks under his lionish feet, his snake tail hissing angrily.
Sits in the cave entrance, looking down upon most of the others from his position, still having to look up slightly to see the behemoth. "Is it really fate that brought us together? Or were we just the closest six mythics that could possibly fit this damned prophecy?" sighs and mutters "how could a murderer and betrayer of his kind be a part of a great prophecy?" idly plays with the now comical sword, his claws being much more effective, sharper, and it not even reaching his waist shows he's not much use with this sword in his true form. Looks up towards the sky, the snake in him wishing to slither away yet his honor and sense of duty making him stay.

Crom fly's up to Snakewing. "You are destroying my caves......if you want food grab some fish! Also do you know what is up with that hydra?" Crom lands beside Snakewing and lays down. "Does the future look bleak or bright to you? To me i only see hope but for some they see otherwise." He extends one of his wings and starts pecking at it. "I know you cant understand me but i find it funny that you try." Crom keeps squawking to snakewing.

Growls, getting slightly annoyed with the loud squawking. "Could you please leave me alone crom, I came up here to think, not get squawked at, if I wanted that I could get a seagull." shakes his head, retreating farther into the cave, almost lost in the gloom, his snake tail lashing out rather sluggishly. Sighs, sitting down, looking at his reflection in the sword.

Crom sighs and folds his wing back in. "Can you please learn more languages?" Crom jumps off the ledge and retreats back into his home where he begins eating the fish he brought in earlier. He walks back outside a couple of minutes later and back up towards the ledge Snakewing and him were just on while he has a fish in his mouth. He walks up to Snakewing and offers the fish.

Glares at the fish, stomach growling yet still refusing the fish, not caring if he starves or not, just really not wanting fish. "Could you please stop, I'm not going to eat fish, that's final." Lays down, ignoring his gnawing hunger, almost tempted to chew his own arm off for food.

Crom drops the fish on Snakewing's head and leaves the cave. He jumps off the ledge and walks over to his home and enters after looking around. Crom lays down in his nest and starts to play with the leaves he used to make it. "I wonder if we will all ever get along and fulfill the so called prophesy that was shown to us?" Crom grabs at the leaves still and starts to bite them as he is nervous.

Throws the fish out of the cave he claimed, curling up into a ball, his snake tail laying where it can watch for anything. Falls asleep, still questioning why he was here, or why he was involved in this 'prophecy', wondering how this will end for him. Maybe he'll die defending these strangers, or maybe begging for his life before a tyrant, knowing either way he won't die a peaceful happy death.

Arisuto growled at all the voices that suddenly perked up at her appearance. All this chatter irked her. Now she had to reply to every single one of them. Idiotic.

She watched as once pushed towards the front, a dragon. She licked her lips, intrigued. "Mind?" She scoffed, taking a deep breath. "No, please! Please intrude on my land! I don't mind one bit!" She shouted sarcastically, then laughed so loud the earth shook. She growled at the Chimera, realizing he had already fallen asleep, on her land, without her permission. One of her heads slithered towards the sleeping Chimera. "WAKE UP." She yelled. After that was done, she turned back to the dragon. "Fine. Stay. Seems you've already gotten comfortable."

Wakes up with a start, quite angry at being woken so rudely. "Go f### yourself you overgrown multi headed lizard, I want some bloody sleep." Walks deeper into the cave he claimed, muttering and hissing all the way. Curls back up, thinking on what he'll do if that hydra interrupts his sleep again, since he's rather jerkish and grumpy without sleep and food, and since he can't find acceptable food, he needs his damned sleep.

"AND I BUILT A HOUSE!" Crom says as he opens the door to his cave home and walks out. "Dont reason with the non sentient being." He says as he stretches his wings and lays down beside Kyro. "So tell me how a Hydra ended up in a lake like this? I mean its pretty far from any swamps or oceans." Crom stands back up and walks to the edge of the water.

Arisuto hissed at the gryphon. She didn't like being unable to understand him, and that meant she was missing a chance to complain. Glaring back at the Chimera. She flicked her tail and a wave of water soaked him, and she smirked triumphantly. She didn't even have to manipulate the water for that one, it was easy, being so large.

Nimiah, if she would have been human, would be laughing. She already liked this Hydra and her sarcasm, but rolled her eyes at Crom. Her nerves were wearing thin but it wasn't a permanent situation, she reminded herself and morphed back into her human form. Unlike most, she liked her host form. It wasn't such a burden to be a human, simply to be among them. She approached the water's edge and bowed.

"I apologize for our intrusion." She said, and stood straight. "I can't say that I've ever met your kind before, it's quite fascinating to me."

The constant squawking he couldn't understand was begining to drive under his rocky skin, not bothering to stop the hydra in her water splashing, and bothering of the two. In his mind, it was rather humorous to watch the hydra pester and sarcastically answer to everything. Eyeing the hydra for a moment, having to tilt his head down due to his towering size, Scylax decided he'd bother with her if she actually did something that was a threat. The beasts form slowly, in a lazy manor (like any behemoth), hit the ground hard enough to cause mini tremors in the process. His large skull turned down again to watch Kyro and Nimiah converse with the multi headed creature.
