Before the times of the Dark Ages was the reign of mythical creatures. These creatures everywhere were well respected and even held high positions in human societies. But then came along thoughts and ideas of individuality and separation from the mythicals. The humans began turning on the creatures because of all the power they wielded. The creatures tried to reason back but most ended up dead. Some few survivors took on human appearances by taking human vessels. But these vessels didn't last long. Then came along a promising prophecy for the mythicals.
Six will rise to lead their species to sanctuary. But these six must venture out and experience the hardships of the original mythicals, seek out the origins to if they are ever to succeed in finding their true homeland, Leine. These six will bear the uniqueness that was once the Rulers of Leine.
Now during the dark ages humans are suspicious of every little thing. They hold a grudge against the mythicals. They forbid magic because of these creatures. And they prohibit the source of fire, light, or anything associated to these creatures. Humans are so paranoid that they are even going against each other in suspicions that maybe one or the other are aiding in the return of the mythicals. But what they don't know is that really mythicals are living among them. But how much longer can they keep it up?
One other user and I created this idea as a one on one (originally only with dragons), but my partner has not responded in a while and I really wanted to roleplay this idea. I changed it up a bit to allow it to be a roleplay thread. I already have the creatures and what positions they are for the group.
