Diane Matthews arrived from the year 2021 by way of a temporal accident. She is 21 years of age. In her own time she was a prodigy in computer science and engineering, as well as linguistics. She is very much a naturalist with survival skills developed in the American Southwest and the Deep South. And she has received considerable self defense training from a few USMC Force Recon.

WHEN and WHERE she arrives is up to you. However, I would like the basis to be as historically accurate as possible. So if we picked 1921 Albuquerque, NM, I’d want to do some research on the time. (I am hardly perfect though and will probably miss things.) Whatever happens AFTER her arrival can deviate though as her interaction with time may result in changes. Also, we could employ a ‘timequake’ concept such as that used in Flashpoint, where the arrival of a time travelling superhero causes subtle changes in the timeline BEFORE his arrival. But I’d prefer not to overdo it.

Whether this is to be a slice of life or an adventure is up to you. Your character will set the tone. Diane may find herself settling down to life on a ranch in the wild west. Or she may fall in love with a soldier returning from WWI or WWII. Or maybe she will meet some college bound young man in the 1960’s. (She becomes a bit OP once the digital era comes into being.)

She won’t fall for anyone who is lazy, dull, criminal minded, etc. Your character should have a life of some sort, with family, friends, enemies, rivals, etc. He should also be around the same age. (I can adjust hers a very little to allow for an enlistment period to end.) It would probably be best to NOT be in active military service, especially if you are in a combat role.

Character:
Yes, you should develop a CS. No special format, but please no animated gifs.
