Demon Defier
The rising sun casted it's bright light onto a tall building, giving it a warm, orangish-yellow glow. Atop this building was a very small gap, like the fabric of the third-dimensional space had been cut open. The gap closed, then it opened again. There atop the building stood a mysterious man with his hand extended towards where the gap was. This man's expression was one only a demon could make. His wicked grin oozed with sin. His sinister eyes were filled with malice. "Soon! Soon the school will fall. It shall perish! I will destroy it!" The man looked in the direction of Trinity, the school for enhanced individuals. He brought his hand up and across his chest. Down below him the early morning faculty were preparing for the day. The mysterious man brought his hand down in a sharp motion, literally cutting open the three-dimensional space in front of him, creating a portal. As he stepped through it, he grinned. "Count your days, Sage of Steam, Larios Trinity!!"

Arc 1: Trinity Welcome

The sun now at it's apex, shone radiantly over the campus. It was a bright beautiful morning. The official first day for the new school year. Today, Trinity would be welcoming it's fresh batch of new students. The plane carrying all the students had just rolled in for landing. It was now time for students to start heading to their classes.

Tiene walked through the building 20 minutes later. Apparently, he had powers and no, it wasn't arson. "Are we sure class starts now?" he muttered. He picked up his schedule and was honestly a bit nervous. He didn't let it show, save for tapping the button on the lighter. "Anyone else have first period with me?" he flashed around his schedule.

“Yes we do.” Finnley said hurrying after, she was far behind, she shouldn’t of slept in the extra minute she liked at the schedule, sighing, hope she didn’t rip the paper, “I do I think” she said looking at it “yep. We do.”

“8:38” she said. “That or I’m reading the time wrong.” She said. holding the seemingly short and a bit tiny paper. She sighed looking at the doors “they should open the doors soon though.” She said, she looked down at her schedule again. Reading through all her classes.

"Cool." He said to Finnley, "It's at 9:00. So, we're in the same first class, I guess." Tiene replied to the other question. He went to do other stuff to pass the time

Finnley nodded putting her schedule back in her pocket. She sighed Looking at the time “few more minutes” she said. Looking at the doors,

(lol) “Finnley,” she said waving awkwardly, “but it’s pronounced Finn-Lee” she said, she looked at the time again, any minute now and the doors would open

“Orientation?” Finnley said being startled. She widened her eyes at what the teacher said, but said nothing. She just sat there in shock, what WOULD today bring? That weird monster man? Being anxious for classes was enough. But worrying about a monster in the first day? She wasent prepared for this……and she was supposed to be the big muscle one……but she sighed. She put her hands on her desk waiting for the teacher to begin.

Finnley looked Steve, sighing, looking back at the teacher, putting her head on her desk, was this gonna be a Boring Lectrure? She Never liked school, like this school was probably gonna be any different, but it was better then nothing. She put her head up again looking towards the teacher. She was definitely not gonna like this school of Demons we’re out and about in it. She looked at the clock, how long were these classes?

Kyle just looked around trying to see what kind of people he was supposed to have around. So far, it feels like things are just going to get more troublesome. As much of a pain his old school could be, at least he already carved his own niche and knew who was a friend or foe. Now? It was just back to square one. The idea of swimming away seemed tempting now, but he had to swallow that one.

So, he just checked his own schedule, and started walking ahead. He seemed to move as if he was hunting something down, and with the glower in his face, many wouldn't want to approach. At least, that's what he was used to. Let's see what that place has to offer.

Finnley was looking at her schedule and looking at the time not quite paying attention to the teacher, she was waiting for the moment when she could go find her next class, which would probably be more boring then this. She sighed, when could she test out her ACTUAL, power. Her STRENGTH. not whatever this was for. Which she probably wasent even that good at. She sighed waiting for the bell for next class.

“Mhm.” Finnley said smushed into the elavator next to Steve. She got out her map of the school. Looking it over and sighing. “And Nope….still demons.” She said giving a glance at Steve. She said. She waited for the elavator to stop. When it did she read the map to go where orientation was.

Claud

Motion sickness. When coming onto a majestic, isolated island, that’s the first thing that Claud experiences. They had absolutely no idea why they were experiencing it- they took every precaution to not get sick. But here they are: hand over mouth (well, mask) and stomach, slowly walking towards the school, trying not to die. Even though they were pursuing to not throw up, they kept on thinking, There’s no escaping the inevitable, and, Everything you try will be useless anyways. There were other students around them, but they quickly dispersed away to elsewhere, leaving Claud to only have themselves as emotional support for this insufferable pain. Their over-sized backpack clanged against their light-blue T-shirt as they kept trying to put one foot in front of the other, wishing desperately to find a destination.

Their power was literally involving plagues- how could they be so useless in a situation like this? They shook their head with displeasure as they kept on going with the “Keep on Walking” strategy until- finally- they were in some part of the school, with their savior sitting at the side of the room: a bench. Wobbling over there, Claud sat down slowly, thinking, Whatever. If I’m late to class, nobody will care anyways.

They softly, shakily pulled the brown, oversized backpack from their shoulders, reaching around in there until they found the one paper that was of any importance in this situation: the schedule. Their eyes quickly scanned over the sheet for first period, which apparently started at 9:00. They set down the paper and sighed dramatically, looking at the wall clock by the bench to see the time. It was almost that time. Did they really walk to school that slowly? Putting both their hands on their stomach, they stayed sitting on the bench, quietly muttering over and over, “Just a few more minutes. Just a few more minutes. Nobody cares if you’re late. They’ll barely notice you.”

“…we’re doing the orientation today.”

Claud looked up, trying to decipher who’s voice just rang out before their eyes landed on the intercom ahead. What was that announcement just now, about orientation? Did they do that at this school? When were they going to do it? Claud shrank down again, thinking, Useless, as they silently waited for the discomfort to wash over them.

“Heh.” Finnley chuckled. Finding Tienes and Steve’s little songs a bit genuinely funny. She looked up at the stage waiting for them to talk. She sighed crossing her arms, looking at Steve and Tiene, “what do you guys have for dorms.” She asked. Not even sure about her dorm herself yet. She sat there trying not to break the chair in accident,. That….seemed to happen a lot now.

She looked at cloud. “You good there bud?” She said. having a slight look of concern on her face. “You don’t look to good right now.” She said examining her.

Hanako walked into the school with a piece of paper in hand, it was her schedule. If anyone took a look, it had folds and creases in it, she had been folding and playing with the paper. She took a deep breath, it was a first day at a new school. She wore her usually stone cold expression as she walked through the front doors. Going to the room for the orientation, she noticed a few people, some were quiet, some were loud, it honestly didn’t really matter to her.

She made her way over to a group of about three kids who were talking quite a lot, and just took a seat, waiting for the orientation to begin. Although she was feeling a bit on edge. She had heard about the intrusion that happened and was on guard. Sure she couldn’t use her powers that well right now, she she knew pretty much the basics on how to fight. Out of habit, she was folding the paper that was in her hand. She knew about her power and what it can do at a pretty basic level. She had experimented quite a bit with her power before coming here, but she hadn’t mastered anything yet. So she would wait for the orientation to start, sitting at her desk, folding paper.

Claud

They looked up from the bench to find an interesting bunch looking down on them from a nearby bench, faces filled with what seemed like concern. Claud’s face immediately filled with annoyance at the sight of them looking right at them, breathing in their direction. Didn’t they ever learn to mind their own business? Claus immediately regretted coming to this school, filled with a bunch of insufficient, nosy people. They turned their head away in fear of breathing in any infectious germs they may be trying to give them and looked around the room. Did they accidentally stumble into the room students were supposed to meet at? That would make sense, as they weren’t looking where they were going, but they still deeply regretted having to be in a situation where they would have to communicate with these ones, who they now had to answer.

Claud glared at the white haired girl who spoke to them, completely ignoring the boy who also asked if they were okay, and muttered, “I don’t look good? Worry about yourself. I doubt you’ve ever looked good in your puny existence.”

Finnley scrunched her nose at clauds reaction….”gee. Okay then” she muttered looking back to Tiene and Steve. Last time I decide to help a random person. She thought. She just adjusted her ponytail quickly and continued to wait for orientation.

(Please disregard the posts during and after the orientation scene.) "Are you going to spend the whole day insulting each other?" Tiene asks. He looks at their schedules and then mutters, "So, we're all in the same class... and orientation period, I guess." He overhears Finnley and raises an eyebrow at her, with some success. "What do you mean, exactly? By helping another person?" He's playing with his lighter.

Finnley looked at Tiene. “What…do you mean?” She said getting a bit startled. She looked around “did….I say something out it loud?” She said running her hands together nervously. She looked Tiene up and Down.

Ally walked in hesitantly, looking around the entrance hall. She took the paper she had folded up in her pocket, looking at her schedule. She walked to her orientation room and took a seat, hooking her backpack on her chair. She looked around. Only a few students were in the class, a few talking and the others sitting quietly. She looked over at a girl folding paper, the person she sat closest to. She smiled at her, not sure if she'd see it or not.

Vincin walked about tiredly, trying to figure out his schedule. School hadn't ever been his thing, and he was still exhausted and feeling a little sick from the flight here.
The campus was huge, hundreds of students walked about the grounds. In his remaining 10 minutes he found his orientation room and entered awkwardly. Up until recently, he didn't know he had a power.
He had to admit, he was a bit nervous about this school, but excited to.

"I think so, but I'm not sure..." Tiene looks up in surprise as he realized there are more people then before. "Are they all in my class?" Tiene thought. He turned back to Finnley, "You said something about helping somebody or other." "Is orientation about to start?" He asked her, ignoring Steve and forgetting about him. Tiene sat down for the time being, because he had nothing better to do at the moment.
