Immortality is Yours
What will you do if you were granted immortality? Live forever while you watch your loved ones die and you continue on? Some do. Some beings are granted immortality and they stay in their homes, never leaving, wasting away. You aren't like that however. It matters not how you were granted immortality or who gave it to you, what matters is what you do with it. There are gods and then there are immortals. They couldn't be more different.
Aytreron
This world is known as Aytreron. The world is simple. You could say that is was "modeled" after Earth. Or perhaps Earth was modeled after Aytreron. Whatever the case, there was almost no difference except for how the landscape was set. Instead of the continents, there were only three large lands surrounded by three bodies of water and one massive lake in the exact middle of all the three lands. Everything that was and can be grown in Earth can also be grown in Aytreron. You can find the exact same animals but there is a major difference in Aytreron and Earth. There are more than just humans that inhabit Aytreron.
Gods of Aytreron

God of the Sky, Lord of All, Creator. Sostar goes by many names but it all means one thing. He is the king of the gods and has absolute control of Aytreron. All though it is believed that all of Aytreron is his domain, he is considered the God of the Sky as the sky was his birthplace and his eternal home where he dwells with his family and the Ascended. He is the only god who can ascend an immortal.

Elvhanen, the favored of Sostar. She is the God of Nature and the one credited of completing Aytreron, making it as it is. Sostar created Aytreron but Elvhanen created the details and many of the races within it. While Sostar is the Lord of All, she is the one who truly watches over Aytreron, always improving the world she loves. It's said that when it rains, it is Elvhanen blessing the world with water from which she drinks from her personal chalice.

Zaius, the God of the Afterlife. The only god that many pay tribute but less do they wish to see him immediately. Zaius is the twin brother of Eztune, the God of Life. He lives a life of luxury, ferrying the dead to their eternal resting place. Zaius is gracious and rewards those who have done well in the sight of the gods and punishes those who have been cursed by the gods. Not many pay tribute to him but those who do are thought to be insane and are rumored to talk to the dead more than the living. Zaius care naught of Aytreron, only of the Afterlife.

Eztune, God of Life. The twin sister of Zaius, she is one of the most blessed and given tribute to of the gods. Her face nor body has ever been seen completely but there are many statues that are believed to be in her likeness. Eztune watches over Aytreron but will never interfere for life must have balance and she will never do anything to disrupt that balance. She is the wife of Sostar and she is the one Elvhanen went to when she seeked advice in creating her beloved races. Eztune is the creator of Man and elves, revered above all gods by both races. Some say she holds more power than her husband, Sostar but none dare to truly ask the gods of this for Sostar would surely punish the being that questions his might.
The Races of Aytreron
Mankind - Humans are the most simplest yet the smartest of all races. They are feared and ridiculed by many other races yet no one can deny that together, they are unstoppable. Mankind was destined to succeed. Humans are not special at anything. They are the Jack-Of-All-Trades kind of people. They are able to do all, specialize in nothing, and survive. Together they can be something greater than any other race. Yet Humans will never truly be together. That will be the downfall of them.
High Elf - There are two species of Elves, High Elves and Dark Elves. High Elves are noble and kind. They are the elite of all races. They are the greatest magic users and archers. They hold an aura that makes them seem like kings and queens. Fair and beautiful even in war, they are cherished and beloved by many. High Elves dwell in ancient but beautiful cities built hundreds of years ago. They are friends to all races and prefer to stay neutral in wars.
Dark Elves - Dark Elves are everything that High Elves are and more. They dwell on the dark side of Elvish culture. They are beautiful but in a nightmare kind of way. Dark-skinned, red eyes, they are fair but their rage is uncontrollable. While the High Elves hold themselves to their standards, Dark Elves believe in freedom above all else.
Nymphs - Nymphs are a small and petite humanoid race. Very similar to Elves, they are commonly known as the Children as many take the forms of small child although this is not always the case. Although constantly underestimated, they are at the same level of an Elf in combat and agility, perhaps even more so in agility.
Dryad - Dryads are courageous and strong willed humanoid, taller than the average human and elf. They are covered in a wood substance, usually from the tree that they are currently inhabiting. Always known as the Caretakers, they will not tolerate any kind of harm to nature and have been known to even go up against the noble Elves.
Naiads - Naiads are aquatic humanoids who are similar to Dryads although as Dryads protect nature and the forests above, Naiads control and protect the waters that sustain life. Naiads are much more calmer than their sister race but just as dangerous. Although they prefer water, they are capable of changing their webbed limbs into a more practical limbs for walking on land. They are said to be the most skilled at Water Magic.
Lamia/Naga - This fierce race are part humanoid, part snake. Although extremely territorial, they can be friendly while traveling or in neutral zones. Their lower half, the serpent part, is much longer than their higher half and can stretch nearly seven feet. Lamia/Naga's constantly use this to stretch high above the ground to gather resources or appear much more intimidating than they already are.
Minotaur - Minotaurs are half bull, half humanoid, and dangerous. They are the most bloodthirsty of all races and perhaps the strongest in brute strength, It is rare to see them in groups but common to see them in pairs or alone. They prefer to live alone as they are more territorial than even Lamias. Living alone shows their strength, depending on where they camp. The more dangerous the spot is, the stronger the Minotaur is.
Centaur - Centaurs are noble creatures, half humanoid, half horse. They are the swiftest and wisest of all races, rivaling even the great Elves. They travel the world, always searching for knowledge to share among each other. Centaurs are great friends of the Humans, more than happy to share their information with them and they have a strong alliance. Centaurs travel and live in groups together, unlike their fellow races.

This is the list where all characters that have successfully Ascended to godhood and will have a spot in history for eternity. So far, none have achieved Ascension but it is not long in coming.

The Races of Aytreron
Mankind - Humans are the most simplest yet the smartest of all races. They are feared and ridiculed by many other races yet no one can deny that together, they are unstoppable.
