I am adapting a spell from 2e called Hound of the Five Winds. It can only be countered during casting, and it will last until the Hound is slain. Thallus would know about that with his sorcerous knowledge.

Realistic threat assessment says we have a Dawn, a Full Moon, and a potentially high essence Chosen of Secrets. A single Dynast is going to get wrecked, but he isn't the problem. His nine friends are a bigger problem, but the real problem is if one of his nine friends is actually a Sidereal. That's scary.
