A quick question, would the spell Flight of the Brilliant Raptor set sails on fire? And in Exalted how easy would an Exalt be able to put out the sails?

So long as they aren't jerks with cloth-of-jade sails, you can set most anything on fire with Flight of the Brilliant Raptor. Their ability to put it out is tricky to estimate. Bound water elementals, a deal with the river god, a sorcerer to summon rain, a water manipulating artifact, a sorcerer to eat the fire directly, etc etc could all in theory be used to do it, but who knows if they have any of those.

I was planning to dive down and wreck the rudder off the ship. (Though with water-aspects on board that could get dangerous)

We could try for a double trouble ship sabotage attempt and then get outta there.

They will almost certainly commandeer other ships in harbour to pursue us, so they'll still be hot on our heels. If they don't want to split up they'll have to get several ships and transfer a lot of their cargo for the Ashigaru etc, so we should at least have a few hours head start. Some of the Dragons could probably grab the first ship ready to sail and only be a few minutes behind us, but they'd leave a lot of stuff behind. Then we don't have to walk!

I think that Thallus has the spell Death of Obsidian Butterflies. If he were to use that on the ship, it would also do a lot of damage to the rigging and sails.

Oh, hmm. We are making the rather large assumption that Dromond is really excited about the idea of us very actively involving his ship and crew in a Wyld Hunt. He was kind enough to stay quiet when everything was deniable, but this is going to be really pushing it. We'll be putting his life and the lives of his crew in danger when we didn't have to, and even if we escape, the river will eventually become unnavigable and his ship will have to stop. The Hunt will then catch his ship even if we're gone, and likely punish him and his crew for aiding and abetting us.

What are we going to offer him to make up for the loss of his and his crew's livelihood? Maybe he can convince them he's a victim and we forced him to sail at swordpoint, but it's still risky for him.

As charming as Bard is, i'm sure the very grateful Drommond would be willing to help his saviors out. He owes us his life after all

Oh, that's right. We did save him. Well, how about we pull a party crowd so large they can't get close to us, and sweep through the docks with it?

Sorry folks. Wasnt getting any notifs.

Paid for my transgression by only getting a meager 3 successes.

Wow, that is a terrible roll. Though, actually writing a song verse would be a stunt in my book. Let's see what our ST says, perhaps a couple more dice will save it.

Also! Sherwood Sherwood .

I think I'll spend those 2 merit points on more language. This the easier option amd a Bard needs to know languages anyway.

Also, if it's not too late, can I change my anima banner from a mockingbird to a kookaburra?

That will be fine to add the extra languages.

And go ahead and change the anima banner.

IC post will be up in a bit. Just got to have dinner shortly with the fam.

Eh, I'm in a giving mood. Lets give it a level two stunt, for two dice and one success.
