The Solar’s senses are preternaturally attuned to the movements
of spirits and other uncanny beings. Whenever a
spirit or Fair Folk is within the range of the Exalt’s
senses, she experiences a strange sensory phenomena;
she might hear bells tinkling, smell a particularly strong
or unusual scent, or taste something resonant. The Solar
gains half her Occult (rounded up) in successes to an
Awareness-based attempt to notice such a being. The
warning signaled by this Charm occurs even when a
spirit is immaterial, allowing the Solar to use Spirit-
Detecting Glance.

Type: Permanent

Prerequisite Charms: Uncanny Perception Technique

Immersion into the occult opens the Lawgiver’s eyes to
evidence of spirit actions. She more readily and easily sees
the handiwork of ghosts and demons, and can more skillfully
detect the footsteps of spirits. When using Survival
or Investigation to track a spirit or uncover evidence of
its actions, the Exalt gains (Essence or three, whichever
is greater) bonus dice to the attempt.
 
Forgot to add that. Yes, there is a library that you get directions to.

Two more things:
1: do I need a circle Charm to cast spells, if I do I'll replace one of my charms for it.
2: The piece of the map I found at my intro. Would I know anything about it so I can look it up at the library?
 
You do need the various Sorcery Circle Charms to be able to cast spells. At the moment, all you will be able to pick up are the Terrestrial Circle spells. It will not be until you hit Essence 3 that you can get the Celestial Circle spells, and Essence 5 before you hit the Solar level.

The map piece is only a fragment, but you can use it to aid you in narrowing down your search. I'll grant you a +2 dice bonus to your Int + Lore roll to narrow down your search.

Sherwood Sherwood Is there a river to Wrangler's knob or are we expecting to get other travel between the boat and Wrangler's Knob (Which sounds so dirty to me.) Also and big terrain features between Wrangler's Knob and the location of the cache. (Like mountains, lakes, valleys, forest, etc)

By comparing various maps, this is the picture of the region you get. Where the skull and crossbones is located is where your fragment of map shows you that the cache is located. It is surrounded by large mountains, all of which are covered in snow.

In order to get there, you can take the Seagull up the river quite a distance up, but the rest of the way is going to be overland.

And as you can see, I didn't come up with the name myself! lol
 
So the Deebsters are in town, huh.
Can i roll an introduce fact to add that the city is having a festival ala day of the dead with lots of colourful decorations, makeup, costumes and lots and lots of noise? Where ghosts and the living party hard? That'd make it easier for us glowy goofs to operate in the city.

The Lunar’s keen mind synthesizes disparate insights to reveal new truths. She adds ([most relevant of Bureaucracy, Craft, Investigation, Larceny, Linguistics, Medicine, Occult, Socialize,
Survival, or War] / 2, rounded up) dice to a Lore roll. She treats specialties in that Ability as Lore specialties to justify introducing or challenging a fact, and adds them to the roll.

What language is the storekeep speaking in? Just asking because the only ones Kuaidao knows are High Realm, Low Realm and Skytongue.
 
It is the default language for the area, but it is likely that the merchant knows others.
