Transformers: A New World (Character Sheets)

Keeping it fairly simple, this is just a example - feel free to set up your own if you want. There's no limit on the number of characters, just don't make more than you can handle.

Name:

Affiliation: (Autobot, Decepticon, Neutral, etc.)

Appearance: (Image or Description is fine)

Alt-mode: (Pretty much anything, just keep it reasonable - no city bots or anything)

Personality: (Optional)

Background:

Other:

Name: Scrounge

Affiliation: Autobot

Appearance: IMG_0144.jpg
-Is small in stature

Alt-mode: A Wheel

Personality: He is eager, excitable, and a tad anxious. Has a tendency to exaggerate.

Background: Before the war Scrounge spent most of his time scavenging for spare parts in scrap yards. His Alt mode served no real purpose, so he ended up on the streets without a job. All of this was what originally drew him towards the Decepticon cause, the idea of not having your Alt mode determining the rest of your life appealed to him. While he supported the cause he only ever really knew about the ideals surrounding it so he didn't know exactly know what he was signing up for until it was too late to back out. As he was far to afraid to actually attempt to leave the faction he did the next best thing, he became a spy for the opposition so long as they would be lenient towards him after they won. Though he wasn't bad at getting the information, he gained a reputation of giving exaggerated or even outright false info. Though he lost a lot of respect among the Autobots for this, they followed through with their promises. He was officially made an Autobot after the war and was given a home in a small settlement. It's not much, but it's still better than what some of Decepticons got.

Other: Has a "special arm" with two extendable wire guided fingers. One can record audio and the other video.

Name: Beachcomber
Affiliation
: Autobot (formerly); Neutral (currently)
Appearance:
kisspng-transformers-power-of-the-primes-starscream-rodim-transformers-generations-5b1656c64150b9.8304191015281906622675.png

Alt-mode: Cybertronian dune buggy
Personality: "Professional stoner and pervert." Only Beachcomber could take pride in describing himself that way. He spends most of his waking hours under the influence of Angolmois, spouting pseudo-philosophical nonsense every so often. Despite having a job, he lives on the streets because he spends all the shanix he earns on Angolmois, dirty magazines, and the Cybertronian equivalent of strip clubs. He acts like he couldn't be happier, but beneath his cheery stoner exterior, he's miserable.
Background: Beachcomber never wanted to join the war. Despite the fact that he was a conscientious objector, he was conscripted into the Autobot ranks as a patrolman. Which was about as non-violent a position as they could give him. During one fateful foray behind Decepticon lines, he and his fellow patrolman Windcharger came across a stockpile of the illegal hallucinogenic substance Angolmois, which the Decepticons were planning to air-drop on the Autobots during their next assault. They pilfered the stockpile and brought it back to the base, but unbeknownst to Windcharger, Beachcomber kept a portion of Angolmois for himself, and began to "experimentally test it" (i.e., take doses of it) in private. This was eventually found out by command, and as a result, Beachcomber was dishonorably discharged from the Autobot ranks and sent back home. The Angolmois use began to ruin his life, and by the time the war was over, he found himself homeless, unable to afford rent because of how much he was spending on black-market doses of the drug.
Other: He has a part-time job at Rewind's Record Shop.

Name: Melody
Affiliation: Decepticon
Appearance:
kisspng-fan-art-decepticon-autobot-deviantart-5af11dbea56bb2.7333659215257512306776.png
Alt-mode: Cybertronian Jet

Personality: Brash and impulsive, at a glance Melody represents everything that most Autobots hate about Decepticons. But underneath his abrasive exterior, he operates under a strict personal code of ethics - a mentality that never earned him much respect in the eyes of his peers.
Background: Melody was a made-to-order soldier constructed towards the end of the war, as part of a huge batch of similarly-designed bots. The majority of these were almost immediately destroyed in battle, leaving only him and a few of his comrades standing. It was this which forged his sense of mortality, distraught at the vast amount of innocent life taken in such a short time - in his eyes, neither side was blameless. For the rest of the war, he continued to grow in combat prowess, gaining something of a reputation for 'taking initiative', although higher-ups were more concerned about him occasionally seeming to ignore orders entirely. After the war, he was granted some benefits by the authorities, in exchange for information on those he deemed 'war criminals', giving him access to his reasonable shared accommodation.
Other: He has a 'brother' named Lightside.

Name: Banditfang

Affiliation: Decepticon

Appearance:
xpahpz.png

In robot mode Banditfang is average height for a Transformer and is primarily black and gold in colour. The fox head rests on the chest, with the front legs turning into arms and the hind legs moving as to make him bipedal. The gatling gun is attached to his back and can detach easily for use.

Alt-mode: Robotic Fox

Personality: Seemingly always look after himself first, Banditfang is always ready to adapt to whatever life gives him. This has made him hard, but also wise, the traits needed to thrive in the post-war Cybertron. Banditfang has never really identified with a cause, just people he admires like Razorclaw. That is not to say that he won’t fight, only that it must be necessary in his optics. Despite his history of violence Banditfang is actually a pretty decent people person, forming connections easily.

Background: Banditfang was very young when the war started, a mere sparkling living in the poorest part of Cybertron. The war seemed so far away at first, neither side seeming to care about the impoverished. Banditfang fell in with a gang where he got his name for stealing and fighting. Quickly the gang became his family, the only people he could trust. That trust was put to the test when the war reached Banditfang’s home. The fighting was brief, but it ended with the city ruined. The victorious Decepticons began to kill of all community leaders, including the head of the gang. The gang retaliated by attacking the Decepticon commander, but were quickly defeated by his soldiers. The commander liked their viciousness and offered them a place in the Decepticon army. Banditfang was one of the ones who accepted. The others were killed.

Banditfang and the other new recruits were sent to train in the Decepticon stronghold of Kaon. It was in these pits that he was molded into a killer. By the time Banditfang finished basic training, the fighting had expanded off Cybertron. Banditfang was one of the first Decepticon troops sent to an alien world. For a long time Banditfang served aboard the Imperious, a raiding vessel. He would then earn recognition in his pacifying of the natives of Garrlio IX. This attracted the attention of General Razorclaw and his infamous Predacons. Banditfang became a lieutenant under Razorclaw, serving for many years together. After an incident in which Banditfang saved Razorclaw he was officially recognized as a Predacon, taking a wolf alternate mode.

Banditfang would continue to serve under the Predacons until his capture by Autobot forces at the battle of Cien-tu-Doon. He then remained in an Autobot prison right up until the war ended. When peace came Banditfang was pardoned and released on Cybertron. The rise of neutral Cybertronians who had fears of another war provided Banditfang with work. His status as a Predacon led to him being approached by a neutral Senator who wished to hire him as part of his security detail. Banditfang, ever the adapting robot, accepted.

Other: Banditfang is currently working as a liscened security agent for the neutral Senator [INSERT NAME].

capMARVELOUS' NPC DUMP
Name: Rewind
Affiliation
: Autobot
Appearance:
DbEiBFLVQAI5X71.jpg

Alt-mode: Data slug
Personality: Rewind is very excitable, very stern, and very easily flustered. The easiest way to her heart is with an old piece of music, and the easiest way to make her upset is to slack off on the job. Because the record shop won't stay in business if you keep reading that, Beachcomber! She loves old off-world music, particularly from Earth, and aspires to learn how to play electric guitar well.
Background: During the war, Rewind operated as a data miner, collecting intelligence from both the Autobots and Decepticons. It was a high-risk job, but not one without perks (read: Chromedome). The two lovebirds loved to get into near scrapes with each other, barely making it out without being detected more often than not. When the fighting came to a close, Rewind decided to pursue her pre-war dreams of opening a record shop and learning how to play electric guitar, both of which Chromedome helped her to do.
Other: She runs Rewind's Record Shop with her boyfriend Chromedome.

Name: Swindle
Affiliation: Decepticon
Appearance:
transformers_prime_swindle___robot_mode_by_4894938-d9jiu4b.jpg

Alt-mode: Cybertronian SUV
Personality: Years in the business have allowed Swindle to craft a sales persona as smooth as butter. He is a major sweet-talker and a cunning persuader; he boasts that he's so good at selling stuff, he could convince you to give up your t-cog in payment. And that actually happened once. His sales methods, however, are very unscrupulous, and he will often leave his buyers much worse off than when they came.
Background: Swindle served as a back-alley arms dealer before the war. He fell in with the Decepticons largely because they had few qualms about him peddling his illegal and/or experimental weaponry to them. This didn't mean that they liked him, though; even the more morally bankrupt Decepticons took issue with his constant haggling and ripping off. But Swindle didn't care, because his excursions allowed him to collect all sorts of exotic and questionable materials. Which he then proceeded to sell post-war.
Other: Among his wares include blacklisted weaponry, forged signatures, and Angolmois.

Name: Ecumen

Affiliation: Autobot

Appearance:
elephant_robot_by_blueradical-d6geedl.jpg

(Best one I could find for the concept. Surprisingly few elephant transformers that don't look like flesh and blood.)

Alt-mode: Elephant

Personality: Ecumen might surprise those who have never met him. Despite sporting the size, strength, and primal transformation of a Dinobot, he’s rather gentle and polite. Which is not to say he’s at all passive or even slow to anger. Certain topics can really get to him and it’s a fifty/fifty chance whether the button pressed will make him burst into tears and tear the room apart. (Sometimes both.) Luckily for everyone though, such topics are rare. Someone would have to really dig to poke at his weaknesses and who would be that invasive or petty?

More than anything though, Ecumen is a bridge builder. He hates conflict, especially between two otherwise close to one another. He does his best to try and quell the anger between the two sides and be the peacemaker.

Background: Ecumen’s first memory as far back as he cares to recall was a battle. He wasn’t sure where or when. He just remembers the explosions, Autobots spinning out and crashing, and his commanding officer being gutted while the Decepticon commander laughed gleefully. Another cried retreat and as Ecumen turned to run he fell down a ravine and tumbled deep below Cybertron’s surface.

When he came back online, everything was quiet and dark. Ecumen couldn’t move, something fell on top of him when he blacked out. Try as he might, whatever fell atop him was too heavy to lift. He cried for help but only his own echoes returned in the darkness. Ecumen did the only thing he could do in this situation, he prayed. He prayed to Primus that He would send an angel to save him. He was fine with death, but dying alone, unmourned and unknown, was not a fate anyone deserved.

That’s when a glow appeared before him. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Indeed, he wasn't seeing it. His optics still reported nothing but blackness but he could see a silhouette growing closer to him. It was a great figure with broad wings and predatory features. The figure reached down and granted Ecumen the means to save himself. Ecumen transformed in the darkness and crashed through the outer wall into the light of Cybertron's sun, revealing his new elephantine shape. It was a gift, this form, this strength, and his life, from one of the 13 original Primes. Though he didn't know it at the time. He just knew it was a miracle and he thanked Primus for it.

On his long trek back to where he was assigned, he came across some Junkions that had somehow found their way on to Cybertron. The two of them, Bric and Brac, were brothers. But brotherly loved was the least of what Ecumen observed as the two had drawn weapons on each other. Thundering up, the two bots were terrified but Ecumen calmed them and asked why the two of them were fighting. After long hours of drawing them out, getting them to drop their guard around him, getting them to drop their guards with each other, and getting to the spark of the matter, the two brothers made up. Bric transformed into his cycle mode and Brac rode on. The two Junkions followed Ecumen back to his base. Through a short Odyssey of other misadventures, Ecumen returned to his base with a small entourage of Autobots, two Junkions, and even a Decepticon he managed to turn. Because of this impressive ability to diffuse hostility and win allies, Ecumen was reassigned to the Autobot Diplomatic Corps. an organization with something of a reputation for being anything but, that nevertheless Ecumen was determine to work within the parameters of. He had no love for the Decepticons, nor remorse for them. He would be the first to sue for peace, but not at the cost of allowing evil to continue.

After the war, Ecumen went from building metaphorical bridges to building literal ones. His beast mode being well suited to heavy construction labor. Between his actual work commissions, Ecumen has been working on a personal project, building the biggest house of worship Cybertron has ever seen. Dedicating it to the 13 and open to Autobots and Decepticons alike. To heal from centuries of war. Sometimes he's the only one working on it when volunteers are scarce and his long time friends are away for whatever reason, but even the shrine's completed skeleton is still an impressive marvel.

Other: Ecumen's weapon is a hammer. Just as easily a tool to build as a weapon to destroy. He also has a third mode, although it's not one he can use at anytime. Rather, he combines with the temple he's constructed as a kind of meditation aid. In it, he almost resembles a part of the shrine. You could call it his edifice mode.

Name: Scrapyard

Affiliation: Neutral

Appearance:
1537028126843.png

Alt-mode: Jupiter class Steam Locomotive
1537028233595.png

Personality: (Optional)

Background: No one knows just how long he has sat in the museum but it is clear that Scrapyard arrived in the very early 1900's. He took the form of a steam locomotive of that era because at that time the steam engine was the symbol of power and might. When he was sent to the museum Scrapyard sat dormant. For years on end he gathered dust and cobwebs. However this new arrival of cybertronian beings has awoken him once again. Steam is not as dead as it seems...

Other: Scrapyard's weapons consist of his bare hands. He is a true tank of the transformer universe. The only one who is stronger is Brawl who is literally a tank. (Scrapyard is essentially the Cherno Alpha of the transformers.)
