He disappeared for about two months straight before people started running into him in the woods quite randomly, though he acted quite casually on those chance encounters he always avoided the subject of his continuous absences. Rumors began growing rampant as people spotted him conversing with strange, masked individuals as well. This trend has continued to this day, and Dr. Bubonic is now viewed suspiciously by the majority of Penville.
