Fandom Tokyo Ghoul: Requiem

Okay this is a Tokyo Ghoul rp and this is going to get crazy and action filled. Just so you know there will be a few rules to make things fair.

1. Battles will be decided via dice throw on my part. Basically your chances of winning are up to the throw, it makes it a bit more fair I think. Even I will be subjected to it so I will not be op and can not be accused of such. I hate to have no challenge or fear of losing.

2. I understand if life gets in the way and I don't mind being patient but I cannot say that for the other players so I will have a time limit for responding unless otherwise notified. Four days. If you do not respond on the fifth day you will be considered to have quit the rp and your character will be killed off and used as food. It is noting personal but it will add to drama, time usage and furthering the plot.

3. No killing other people's characters unless the other person agrees or disappears and only I can give that kind of power to them.

4. And most importantly.....HAVE FUN!!!

  Personality: Serenity has a dual personality. One personality, the main one, is a kind girl that loves with all her heart, but she is also kind of sensitive. She is kind of quite but she is fiercely loyal to her friends. However, her other personality is emotionless and dark. She loves to fight and is cannibalistic.   Bio: Serenity lives with her brother though she wishes she could leave with every ounce of her being. He is way over protective to the point he is possessive. He hates seeing her talking to anyone, especially boys. Her parents died when she was only two. She doesn't remember much about them but what she does remember she keeps very close to her heart and as clear as anything. She has been raised by her elder brother ever since. She was held close under his gaze and she rarely leaves his field of vision and the one time she did she nearly died. Unfortunately, however, things went very wrong during her operation. She was transplanted ghoul parts and she became half ghoul from then on with one ghoul eye on the left. She was able to hide it from her brother but how much longer she didn't know and honestly, her brother frightened her since he was a dove. How much longer could she remain hidden from him. What would he do if he ever found out?

The coloration of this kagune is not set, as it changes between an aqua coloration, white, and deep blue. Acting much alike that of ocean water within a wave, light also effects this as it determines whether the coloration will be brighter or darker in the lighting.

As for the quantity of tails that can be produces, Kaida can create up to three different tails that can work individually or in uniform. Length of each can vary depending on how many rc cells she contains. When each tail is used individually they are presented as tentacles, not unlike that of a marine creature however lacking the suckers.

When two of these tails work together they hold a similar appearance, however they become tougher and slightly rigid. At the tip of this dual-tail they fork, to produce a deadly pair of spines.

When all three of these come together the shape is modified entirely, they seem to become a single tail and the end of them takes on the form of monstrous jaws. The tail becoming rigid and within these jaws it is lined with fangs, likely produced from the tails modification. Throughout all the forms of her bikaku she holds the same range and force, the modifications come in the possibility to tear or puncture the target.

Kaida is daring giving her an air of danger, which of course she wouldn't shy from such. Danger and risk fit her personality a little too well, not because she's carefree, but because she's able to calculate it out. She shows her intelligence more often than not, and if a fight turns sour then she'll back out. That's one of the perks in being brought up a ghoul, especially one who had to fight more often than not. Even with this she is quite dependable, an intelligent girl with the capability to map things out. Which is where the highest bit of importance comes in, she's experienced.

In combat the tactical thinking comes into effect, observing and attacking the weaker points. Going for a faster take down always being the prime choice, but handling an elongated fight isn't difficult for Kaida either.

Family History:
The history in the family and blood line of the Himura's is an odd one. Due to their family being 'pure of blood' in the past generations there was a tremendous amount of interbreeding. This ended with Kaida's great-grandparents as they were the last to be forced into such, due to their family tree growing without branches for an extended period certain issues came about, specifically involving their rc cells. The inbred blood caused their family of ghouls to mutate, as such their cell counts were slightly higher at birth.

This gave them a bit of an edge over others who happened to be ghouls, however it also caused their rc cells to be hyperactive to cannibalism. It's assumed that the Himura family has far greater risk of mutating into a kakuja through cannibalism. This runs many different risks and can cause feeding to be riskier for their family.

Attempting to Reconnect

Bio:
Kaida grew up in a house that was... difficult to say the least, she wasn't offered a warm and kind home for most of it. She was the middle child, and older brother and a younger sister who each either got praise or just most of the attention. She was the lesser child and therefore the disappointment of the trio, her brother could manipulate his kagune from age three. Her sister could play the piano at age four. The births had been different for them, they planned for one and got three. A trio of ghoul children, one koukaku and two bikaku.

Ken-ichi was to be the one to carry the family name, Her sister would bring the family fame, and Kaida was... to do whatever the world desired of her. It was like this for eleven years, two days and four hours after their spring break had started was when it happened. Food had been short and their father provided what he could for the household, Ken reacted and consumed their parents. Kazue and Kaida watched onwards in horror as he changes, a hideous plate covered parts of his face. A spined blade appeared on his arm, this was the fear that fueled her kagune to come alive. A pair of jaws crushed her brother, snapping his body in half and crushing his skull. Kazue screamed in fear but there was nothing they could do, when Kazue went to bed Kaida cannibalized their brother. She didn't mutate thankfully, afterwards they left to live with their aunt.

She took care of them, raising them to be good girls and sharing the attention. Etsuko, Their aunt, couldn't have kids so the two of them living with her had been a nice change of pace. This was where both of them learned of their families history and the risks that ran with it, it sat heavily on Kaida's conscious and stomach. Upon finishing high-school they'd become independent and left home, each heading off to do their own things in the world. Though both embraced their ghoulish sides a bit more, each proceeding to hunt or join the ghoul organizations. Kaida remains by herself currently, as for when she'll become a kakuja is dependent on food source.. eating even one more bite of a ghoul could be enough to kick-start it.
