Cannot post in RP subsections

Morris

A Hunter Must Hunt
I'm not sure whether this is a bug or just a site rule I don't know about, but I'll elaborate:

I seem unable to post a new topic in any RP subsection (character/OOC/etc). However, the site lets me reply to already existing topics, and I can post new topics in the Interest Checks and the main RP subforums.

Both the 10 posts + 24 hours terms of my account are met. So far I didn't find anything about this issue among the rules, but I could be missing something.

Could anyone enlighten me what might be the issue?

Thanks in advance.

You don't post in them directly. Whenever you post a new thread, they are created for you. (:

You may want to read more about tabs here.

Ah. Well... I'm new here, so I feel a bit stupid now :P

To clarify: this means that as soon as I open a new RP in any of the sections, the site will automatically generate the rest of the associated topics?

As undeniably helpful as that is, is there a way for me to lock the main RP topic until participants get their characters approved and some details are discussed OOC?

So, when you post a new group roleplay, it will automatically generate an IC tab, an OOC tab, an overview tab, and a character sign-up tab. There are other tabs you can add if you choose to do so, like notes, additional IC tabs, Q&A, rules, etc.

There isn't, no. However, if you put a place holder on the first IC post that says something along the lines of "do not post until I say so," people will respect it. If they don't, you can delete their posts (in your threads only) and you are welcome to deny them from joining your roleplay for any reason.

^__^ Anytime. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
