Story To My Home

Error 420

One Thousand Club
When I leave
I will return an old man.
When the autmn ends
I will return a lost story
Back to where it began

I want to go to my home
To the streets and roads
Hold a name of a woman
In a locket
That none will read

I want to go to my home
And be there once again
Tell stories with fading names
Of places
None have dared tread

I want to go to my home
And return an old man
Filled with heartbreak and pain
Of melodies
The songs of the dead

When I leave,
I will return the old man
Under the underpass
With a locket by his chest
And songs in his heart
That he found on the road

[I guess this is less of a poem and more of a very structured essay. I hope you like it and perhaps empathize with it. Leave your thoughts below.]
