Fantasy To Glory!

Axel The Englishman

The Holy Crusader
Welcome, random passerby. I see you've caught interest in this RP, so I might as well explain what it is. This RP will be set a setting replicating Medieval Europe. But what makes it different to every other medieval RP? Well, sonny, this one will incorporate modern elements into the times of old. That's right, a blend between the present and the past.

For those who are interested, post your thoughts down below - as well as with any questions about this you may want answered.

Why of course. Where would my RPs be without roles to fulfill? Here's what I got for you so far:

  • The Fusil.
  • The Bombardier.
  • The Cavalier.
  • The Canonnier.

Wish to see anything else add to this list?

  • The Fusil - the most common role within the Ranks, forming up a majority of combat personnel on the battlefield, normally equipped with a Schraubenzieher and an Arming Sword.
  • The Bombardier - as lowly as a Fusil. However, they are especially trained for the deployment of Hand Bombs against enemy infantry. Their second similarity with Fusils is their use of the Arming Sword.
  • The Cavalier - the Calvary of the Ranks. Trained and equipped for engaging in shock tactics against enemy positions. Decorated with a kite shield and boasting a Feuerstange.
  • The Canonnier - a man of the Ranks trained ONLY for operating cannons on the battlefield. Their only other weapon of choice is the Battle Axe.

By the way, a Feuerstange is a polearm designed for inflicting high levels of brute force trauma. It is also fitted with a firing mechanism to allow for mid-range engagements - with a bullet with a calibre similar to a round of .55 inches.

Some culture within this medieval society retains some of it's original properties, with others being far more advanced than what would be capable during that year.

Also, steel plate armour is normally worn with a chain mail garment underneath (this became common within the Army after the Iron Rush, lowering the overall costs of steel - accompanied with the development of machine-based manufacturing methods), with a protective jacket made of fictional materials (yet to be given a name) worn above - capable of stopping most bullets at the moment.
