So I want to be good at art!

I want to draw the amazing things I see in my imagination, so I developed a rather strange method.

Phase 1:

Step 1: Master Coloring

I will master and appreciate Coloring in Coloring Books. In order to learn to find inspiration and develop patience.

Step 2: Lines Put Together

I will learn to draw lines, and put them together in unique and interesting ways.

Step 3: Reference Drawing For the Win!

I will learn and master the art of Tracing art that Inspires me. Then move on the drawing from references.

Step 4: Putting it all together! Part I

Finally, I will put everything together in a unique way to master the basics of drawing and coloring.


I'll focus on that before moving on to training to Paint.

I'll post my first coloring exercise tomorrow and continue to post my progress as things move forward.

Also, take note: Referencing is not the same as tracing. Tracing is just putting an image under tracing paper and copying that image line for line. Referencing is more trying to draw a picture just from looking at it. Keep that in mind.

I bought a coloring book, and coloring stuffs. Now I just need to color. Let me finish the first page, and I'll post it here...eventually.

Her name is Maria Aren. And yes, that is a alien tentacle as her right hand. And there is a power seal on her forehead. She has ghostly pale skin too.
