Just a cut and paste explanation I have prepared for this particular idea.
( Based on the universe of the 2014 and 2016 movies with aspects of the 2007 CGI TMNT movie )
Raphael (you) has been having weird dreams lately, but he has no clue what it means because it always features his and his brothers' childhood imaginary friend. The same red eyes always look back at him with an unknown message and his brothers tell him he needs to forget it and move on. Meanwhile, since the Leonardo disappeared for a year to train, the brothers have been reduced to mundane discreet day jobs with little more than a longing for the old days. Raph hasn't lowered himself to a minimum wage phone job, and has taken the name Night Watcher and sneaks above ground to fight crime on his own at night. However, a new group of vigilantes has taken root in New York and have started stealing his targets, identifiable only by the black tattoos on their wrists and the crescent moon tag they leave at the scene. This added to their increased activity at night when Raph is on the prowl has earned them the name Moonlight vigilantes. No one knows how many there are but after Raph is knocked out by them one night, he returns to reignite the spark in his brothers to start crime fighting once more.
Convinced to go out on a trial run, the brothers follow after some car jackers and find themselves also being followed. Now all of the turtles are ready to find out just who these new vigilantes are. They come face to face with the group, turning the stalking around on them, and Raphael is surprised to see a familiar face. This imaginary friend wasn't just a dream, and she's strangely flirtatious with Raph in particular.
So its a RaphxOC plot, with some twists and turns. A betrayal arc and the return of Shredder, something for any kick. Pm if interested.
