Brief History:
A legendary adventurer set out to find a trading route for his country, one that was shorter and more efficient. Instead of finding a sea path that took less than a month, however, Alistair Gordonia discovered a completely separate continent, called Ortus, as well as a completely new race of people. The species itself became known as Erebora. Erebora is plural and Ereboran is singular.
Their kingdom is called Sherolan and their people refer to themselves as Sherolese when speaking of nationality and origin. The capital of Sherolan is Phosa. The continent of Ortus was rather secluded in comparison to the others, resting in the far north and bearing extreme weather changes that most humans could barely tolerate.
In comparison to the humans, the Erebora were far more advanced in intellect, medicine, and technology. They were a very open group of people and welcomed the humans with open arms. Relations between the two races were in the golden age for multiple centuries as they traded knowledge and other goods. A group of anti-Erebora, however, destroyed the relations a bit over one hundred years ago. Since then, the humans and Erebora have been at war for generations. The humans feeling a strong hatred and disgust and the Erebora feeling betrayed and distrustful.
Sherolan:
The capital is Phosa and the country thrives off of meat, silk, and oil. Their government is a monarchy with the queen almost equal to the king. There is a council of 5 that help the king and queen govern the kingdom. Each of the 5 council members are dukes or duchess of their respective region: Unda (water) Region, Collis (mountain) Region, Vallis (valley) Region, Meritum (desert) Region, and the Sylva (forest) Region. The king has absolute power, however, he can be overruled if the queen and two councilman, or four councilman disagree.
The weather is on the cooler side with winter dominating the months of October-March, spring from April-May, summer from June-July, and autumn from August-September. During summers, the temperature rarely passes 85 degrees F.
Erebora:
Erebora are notoriously beautiful, even though they radiate dark auras. They are generally taller and leaner than the average human and while their hair colors are quite similar, they have a wide range of eye colors. The royal family, in particular, all have silvery-purple eyes.
Although Erebora have evolved to appear more human, they do have their true form and lesser form. Their true form is very demon-like, some having ears and tails while others having claws and fangs. Their lesser form is merely a shadow figure that can travel where ever with ease. The only weakness of the lesser form is they can't be in contact with sunlight. People who have been in their lesser forms for too long often forget who they are and many of them become malicious. Because of this, it's advised to eradicate them upon confrontation. One thing to note about the true form is that only the really powerful Erebora are capable of shifting, often at that. Their kind has basically become weaker due to evolution.
Erebora also age about 3x slower than humans.
Powers:
Powers are very scarce in Sherolan and nearly nonexistent. Even the royal family doesn't bare any ability-wielding. However, being able to shift is considered a power. One thing to note is that the Sharolese are much stronger and faster than humans.

(Brief History)
The humans are thought to be the creation of the ‘Great Six’, a group of ancient deities that had ruled the known and unknown world. Despite the fact that they had been created in their image, the humans possessed nothing of the Gods’ great strengths – they were simple-minded, a herd of sheep willing to do their Gods’ bidding without questioning them. Whatever they had, procured and made were offered to the Gods so they would continue to watch over them with mercy and leniency. This dark time will be remembered as the ‘Age of Blindness’.
However, the man who had been sent by the Gods themselves, the Priest of the Skies, the one who was responsible for making sure the humans would not go over their Gods’ word, had been the one to betray their trust. The origins of the Priest are yet to be known; some say that he was a God himself, or perhaps a half-God, whereas some believe that he was a man as any other, who the Gods have given the power of knowledge. Unwilling to watch his people suffer any longer because of the Gods’ greed, the Priest had rebelled, earning their anger. The surface of the Earth had been split so the humans would be separated from the rest of the World, as they turned out to be a failed species, a failed project. So Matramor was born in the South-East.
The power of the Priest did not falter after such a punishment. Humans had earned freedom and freedom could be a dangerous weapon. He became the ‘Protector of the Known World’, the ‘King of all Kings’ and after his death, the only God humans would ever recognize.
It was not only separation the Gods had cursed the humans with though. Lust appeared. Wrath. Envy. Pride. And the worst of them all – greed. Throughout history, humans have constructed their power on others’ weaknesses, work, knowledge, and resources, creating a safe harbor for their species. Any advances in technology or medicine were based on the knowledge they had managed to obtain through their relations with the neighboring countries and discovered continents.
The rupture between Matramor and one of those allies, the Ereboran race, had led to the degradation of the continent as a whole.
(Aiwreron)
The form of government of Aiwreron – the capital is Leidith– is a hereditary monarchy, the power passing from father to son or a close male relative. Despite the fact that the females are considered to hold a higher place in society than they used to, most are still dependent on their families and especially on their fathers. Even the Queen herself is not implicated in most of the country’s decisions. The Kings holds supreme authority that he exercises through the old noble families that occupy positions in regional assemblies – whereas those can offer advice to the King, they cannot take decisions of their own.
The continent is split into four regions: the North Star, the South Star, the East Star and the South Star, due to the four stars that, united, form the shape of the continent in the sky.
(Humans)
Before the rebellion of the Priest, the humans were thought to be Gods themselves due to their appearance. Their skin had no blemishes and they showed no sign of aging; their features were light, and their build used to be lean and gracious. As they became sinful though and curses such as sickness and death befell them, they grew weaker and lost the strength they once wielded. Their features turned darker as well, as the old blood of the ancient humans had been mixed with others’ due to the numerous alliances through marriage that had been made throughout history.
The royal family still carries some of the light and beauty of the first humans. They live longer than the usual humans as well, most humans dying between 40 or 50 years of age.
(Technology)
As humans do not possess any type of power and their strength is limited, they focused on developing the industry of their country, especially their armament industry. The industrial revolution and the pollution had deeply affected their continent, especially their weather – winter had turned to be harsher and the summer hotter, the intermediary seasons as autumn and spring barely being different from the other two. Their natural resources are slowly coming to an end as well and the Kingdom depends on trade more than ever.
