— To the outside world Angelique comes across as someone who has it made in life. A blessed young woman with the looks and brains to make it through life without any trouble. She is someone who has little trouble with getting what she wants and she tends to use it to her advantage. Angelique is by all means, spoiled and materialistic. Living a life of luxury has caused her to develop a taste for the finer things in life, an aspect that she doesn’t try to hide. Angelique is a rather picky person, be it her clothes or food she isn’t one to accept anything lower than what she deems acceptable. Coming from a wealthy background means that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and it shows.

(woo woo it's finally finished and also preemptive apologies for my complete inability to format posts on this site i am too sleepy rn and also graphic design is my passion but sadly NOT something i'm good at. also slight cw for passing drug mentions?)

Personality: With his proclivity towards a heavily punk aesthetic and rugged physical appearance, at first glance one might expect Hadi to behave similarly to that prototypical bad boy archetype. Perhaps that’s not entirely inaccurate. Hadi would indeed be considered badly behaved from an objective standpoint, what with his constant rule breaking, wild boyish shenanigans, recreational drug usage among other other things, but as for the expectation of being suave, smooth, and especially charming with women? Eh… We could say that he may not be everyone’s type, to put it politely.
As a side effect of living under borderline inhumanely strict parents, Hadi leans toward a heavily introverted demeanor. There is an eternally burning fireball of energy that thrives in his heart that one only really gets to experience in its entirety after establishing a bit of rapport with him beforehand. He is highly eccentric and proudfully so; he prefers to establish the weirdness upfront to weed out anyone who may be opposed to it. As a creative, he often seems to have his head in the clouds, focused on brainstorming ideas for his next work of art, and enjoys reading and writing. He believes that inspiration can come from anywhere, be it the oldest of folk songs or the latest album of your favorite artist. Seeing the beauty in anything is a mastered skill of his, and possibly the reason why he seems open to befriending just about anyone who seems nice enough.
His childhood was spent in India and, while his family was decidedly middle class, things such as multiple-days-long power outages were very real issues, and as such he has been humbled by his own upbringing. Hadi is down-to-earth and isn’t too concerned with wealth and materialism. He doesn’t take himself too seriously, nor does he expect others to. While this makes him playful and approachable, it also has the unfortunate consequence of playing into his own lacking self-worth. He seems to hold himself back, stopping himself from being too assertive or confident due to a fear of being seen negatively for doing so. Caring for himself is not too great of a concern of his, he’s the type to be much more concerned with others. He carries with him a fair bit of bad habits, including the aforementioned drug use (though never anything tooo heavy) and the occasional forgetfulness to eat, and tends to try and brush off the worries of others with a reassuring “Don’t worry, everything’s fine~”. While Hadi easily befriends others, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s willing to open up emotionally himself.

Background: Immigrated to America with his family from the Indian state of Punjab at the age of 15. A fact that surprises most, given that with how deeply immersed he is in Western culture, one would expect him to be purely born and raised a red-blooded American. This, along with many other aspects of his character including, but not limited to: his preoccupation with punk-rock music, his obscenely long hair, beat-up grungy style of dressing, and seeming disinterest in matters of marriage and religious faith constantly put him at odds with his very strict and traditional parents. As a result, he both resents and fears them. He feels repressed in their presence, that as long as he’s around them, he can never be himself… His only options are to hide who he is or forever be disowned. Pretty tragic, yeah. Poor thing. Back home, in his native Chicago suburb, he usually chooses to escape this situation through a mixture of intense drum-playing and beat-producing sessions for whichever music group he’s most involved with at the moment (Currently, that would be Trrrash, the two-man alternative/industrial/noise/punk operation led by himself and his best friend), as well as a variety of psychedelics.
Lucky for him, this excursion to Frostburg is going to be his opportunity to spend a decently long period of time away from their watchful eyes. The destination seems like a bit of an odd choice for someone who certainly doesn’t come from a family that celebrates Christmas much at all, but an entirely new experience like that is what Hadi’s all about.
Occupation: Small-time musician and music producer.
Family: An only son and the oldest sibling to his three sisters. Back home, he lives with them, his parents, and his grandmother.
