I'm brand spanking new to this site, but NOT to role playing. That goes back to...2006? 2007?


Hoo boy, its been awhile.


Anyhoo I decided to join because I was looking for a place to try out a KPOP Idol rp. Couldn't find any forums specifically for that, so I wondered if maybe I should just give it a shot on any rp forum site and see if there were takers. If not. Welp, I've got plenty of fandoms I could play with here.


Soooo I'm pumped to get started!

PS Can I swear? In character and out? I didn't see anything about that in the rules....I sure hope so...cause I swear a lot both RL and OOC. Pffff.

Welcome to RPN! I'm sure you'll find someone who enjoys the things you do. I don't think it's forbidden to swear, Lol. I swear a lot too both in real life and pretty much all of my characters who are a little bad assy. Hope we could RP together (OUO)

Swearing isn't forbidden, but it's not always appreciated. I don't like it and I think people overuse it. Just keep in mind that there are kids on the site as well so keep it clean. Keep everything you do here clean and we're good. As far as IC... that is up to the GM of the RP. If the GM is okay with the foul mouthings of your character then it's cool- so long as it falls in line with the site rules. If the GM says no, then no swearing IC. It's that easy.

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.

I swear alot IRL as well but I try to keep it fairly limited IC depending. OOC I try to avoid it for the same reasons Xylin gave.
