You are humanity's last hope in theses dark times, you are members of the most elite battalion in the SpaceTime marines. Your former commander "Sgt.Cortez" along with the battalion's second in command "Cpl. Hart" have both been reported KIA after attempting a recovery mission to obtain the Nine time crystals that the Timesplitters are keeping aboard our captured space station
The members of this squad volunteered for this suicide mission to do what their commanders failed to accomplish, however humanity's last line of defense is a one shot offensive against this urgent threat. Your primary objective is to assault the station and recover the nine time crystals aboard it and return it to our outpost on planet X to where we will use them to power a time machine that humanity has created...More details on that operation will be revealed IF this op is a success somehow.
However...There is a possiblity that the Tiemsplitters will attempt to scatter the Time crystals across several time periods should they fear a threat from our attack. to counter this every soldier in this squad has been given a implant that has a complete database of recorded human history, including how to operate any weaponary found in these time periods. We cannot let anything stop us from getting the time crystals, the squad will have to take extreme risks to insure Humanity's survival, so that means if the Timesplitters attempt to hide them then the squad MUST pursue
