Emily read the note on the front gates of the park. She sighed, half with nervousness and half with excitement. Curiously, she looked up at the sign on the entrance, not having been to the park before. It was a whimsical sign of big, bright letters that spelt 'Thrillv_lle' The 'I' was currently missing. It was dusted with a layer of dirt and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Emily smiled a little at seeing how quirky the place was.

Upon pushing open the tall, black, wrought iron gates, she walked only a few steps forward before noticing how eerie and quiet the place was. It was only 9 in the morning and it was likely to be closed at the moment, but it seemed to be lonely and sad.

Emily shivered and carried on forward, passing a carousel and a food shack. She hadn't the slightest idea where she was going, but any adventure was fair game to Emily.

Emily felt the clouds above her head part, and the feeling of warmth that only the Californian sun could bring settled upon her. In front of her, she spotted an older woman with greying hair, staring down at her wristwatch.

"Hey!" Emily called, friendlily. The woman looked up immediately and grinned.

"Hello Sweetheart, just this way." Emily ran towards her as the lady turned away. When she caught up, the lady was already on the steps of a large wooden lodge. "This is the Bunk House." She smiled and Em nodded, walking inside, expecting the lady to follow. She turned and saw that the lady was already half way to the entrance, obviously waiting for the other new arrivals. Emily shrugged and turned back around.

Inside, there were two arrows pointing left a right, the left indicated Female and the right was male. Em turned left and walked into a small room that was fitted with 2 bunk beds. She took one of the bottom bunks, hoping the others wouldn't mind; she didn't like heights too much.

Zack Brons sighed as he opened the rusty, old gates. He took a glance at the surroundings of the theme park. It reminded him of all the mysterious, dark movies, comics and books he had seen. It also reminded him of himself. He sighed again at this thought. He walked slowly more into the park, swinging his back pack over his shoulder.

In the distance, he saw 2 young woman walking in the opposite direction. He quickened up his pace so that he could catch up to them. Once he saw where they were going, he walked a little slower, knowing that it it would be physically impossible to get lost. After a few minutes, one of the girls came back and she greeted herself. He nodded his head, not in the mood to talk.

Zack soon made it to the supposed building called 'The Bunk House'. He didn't bother to knock on the front door, as he didn't see he was needed too. It was obvious where he should go and he, indeed, did go there. He saw the 2 bunk beds and immediately started climbing the ladder. Zack swung his bag onto the bed and laid there, appreciating the silence.

Kora walked up to the gate, her bags in one hand, and her camera draped around her neck. She took her free hand and raised it to the camera, snapping a picture of the entrance sigh, which was currently missing and I from Thrillville. She smiled and took in the setting for a moment, before checking the time. "It's 9 am. Where is everyone?" She mumbled to herself, looking around. Normally at this time parks where teeming with people. She just shrugged and moved up to the gates, pushing them open.

She wandered though the large maze of empty rides, following aimlessly as she traveled though. She stopped to take pictures a few times along the way, checking them to make sure she could use them. She smiled. "This will be great for a photo contest." She mumbled, walking forward. She soon found and old lady. "Hey lady!

The oldwoman smiled up at her."Hello Sweetheart, just this way." The lady said. Kora followed her up the steps and into the building, which she presumed was the bunk house. Inside was a sign with two arrows, one that said female, and one that said male. She followed the female one inside the room. She saw someone inside and she nearly jumped out of her skin. "Sup." She said, tossing her stuff on one of the top bunks.

Alexis "Alex" Brown________________________________________________________________________________________

Enlisted employees, please make your way to the Bunk House.

Alex looked up from the ground when he got to the gates, and saw the note. He'd been walking in deep thought, wondering why he didn't try and go for something more prestigous than this, but always ended on the conclusion that this just seemed to interest him more. He didn't like being up at this time in the morning, even though a lot of people would convince that it wasn't exactly early, 9am just seemed too much for him, and he hated it back when he had to go to school. The large rusty iron gates were already open, so he presumed that he wasn't the first to make it there. He stood in the arch for a moment, just looking over the place. It was eerie. Eerie, and he liked it. Like most people, the paranormal piqued his interest and he found himself wondering for a moment if the grounds were haunted.

He had very little to go on regarding which way the Bunk House was, so when he spotted someones back moving through the amusement park he quickened his pace to try and catch up, even if just to ask for directions. Unfortunately, at the corner where he broke sight to the other person he lost them. Back to square one again, he tried to go in the direction he thought the other person was going, and ended up in front of a wooden lodge with arrows pointing either way, one reading "Female", and the other "Male". Either this was the fanciest bathroom Alex had ever seen, or he'd just found the bunk house. It was worth a shot.

He stepped through the male door, and was met with a pretty cute little room. He could like this place... Yeah, he could like it here. There was another man inside though, and after observing him for a moment Alex decided that he didn't look overly friendly. He contemplated whether he wanted to talk to him at all, and ended up at the compromise of simply saying
"Hey." before throwing his bag on the opposite bunk bed on the lower level.

Zack lifted his back up, looking up and down at the man. "Hey..." He forced a smiled. "Name's Zack." With that, Zack simply just lifted his hand and waved, effortlessly. Zack wasn't here for friends, but secretly he wanted just to be different for once and be a little friendly. Zack took off his shoes, laying them on the windowsill by his bed. He positioned his pillow and laid his back against it. He opened up his old bag and took out one of the complete collection of 'The Walking Dead' comics. He smiled to himself and began reading.

Abel stared at the note in front of him as he brought a cigarette to his lips. He slid his palm in his jacket's pocket and pulled out a box of matches. He took one out from the box and lighted it and used it for his cigarette. Little clouds of smoke soon appeared around Abel, surrounding him peacefully. Enlisted employees, please make your way to the Bunk House, the note read, as Abel looked at it one more time before grabbing his bag and tossing it on his right shoulder, then grabbed his guitar.

Passing through the iron gates, Abel walked slowly around the park, smoking his cigarette without a worry in the world, enjoying the moment to the fullest. He looked around the park, seeing how it wasn't in its best moments. He felt as if every step he made, he could hear, he could see, he could feel the stories this place was telling him, in its silent echoes.

It didn't took him long to reach a place where a woman seemed to be waiting for something, or someone.

"No smoking inside." the woman told him.

Abel threw the almost finished cigarette down on the ground, in front of him and crushed it with his foot. Then, he walked towards her and pass her. Once inside, he looked at the two easily distinctive signs in front of him. He turned towards the sign that said "Males" and walked inside.

He stopped and stared at the room. He noticed that there were two other guys already inside the room. One was reading a comic book. Abel easily read the comic book's title and blinked. The other guy seemed to be settling in. Abel thought about which level and side of bed to choose. He didn't cared about the levels, he wouldn't fight for them either.

He decided to take the one with the comic guy on top. He muttered a hello and then walked towards the bed, then tossed his bag on the middle part of his bed, then carefully positioning his guitar on the far edge of the bed. Pulling his pack of cigarettes and his box of matches, Abel walked outside of the room and the building and began smoking once more.

"Hello!" Emily said, enthusiastically. "I'm Emily, or Em, if it's easier." she grinned,"Not that Emily is hard to remember." She dangled her legs and they just about touched the floor. "Yours?" She put her hands in her lap and looked innocently up at the other girl. She seemed nice enough, a camera hung around her neck. Emily had never got into photography herself, too much to mess around with. She awaited the girls answer, but got up off of the bed and walked over to the television that was built into the wall. She felt for the audio and video inputs and lit with excitement. She fiddled in her bag and unexpectedly pulled out an xbox. It had been weighing her down all day. She walked back to the TV and plugged in the cables, set up the controllers. She sighed and realised she had set it up in record time. Emily knew she must look a little strange; but she didn't mind.

"Phew!" She fell back onto her bed. "Now I feel better. What did you say your name was?" She smiled once again.

Enlisted employees, please make your way to the Bunk House.

Jaxson stood there in front of the gate with a huge smile on his face. Excitement, anticipation, and wonder sparkled in his eyes. So many times has he passed by here and been wanting to go in, even though it was desolate and aged. Today he chose to wear a dark pink tee with dark blue skinny jeans. The California sun shined down on his back casting a shadow through the open rusty gate and into the amusement park. A slight shiver ran down his back at the thought of mysterious and eerie things in the park.

Knowing he must be slightly late, he shouldered his backpack and tentatively took a few steps in. His head whipped around looking for some directions to the Bunk House.
I don't want to be the one known to get lost...oh please great one lead me to the right way. Jaxson decided to walk forward a bit and see if maybe a sign was deeper into the park.

He passed by a carousel and some food stands, taking his time to examine the structures. Enthusiasm ran through his body. Soon he then saw a slight shadow of what seemed to belong to a man disappearing over a corner. Jaxson quickly followed but keeping a distance in between the two.

Peering over the corner of a tent he saw the man entering what presumably should be the Bunk House. He then walked over to it once he saw the man completely enter. He hesitated though when he saw the signs.
Would they accept me as I am? Jaxson shivered. This was always the toughest part.

He closed his eyes and closed his breath and opened them once more. Jaxson gulped and walked down to the male's section, anticipating for the disgust or acceptance of the men already there. He entered slowly and saw three have already arrived. "Um...hello. My name's Jaxson," he nervously greeted himself.

Abel easily read the comic book's title and blinked. The other guy seemed to be settling in. Abel thought which upper side he should take. He didn't cared about the lower levels, he wouldn't fight for them either.

((Just saying, but I took the top right bed...))
Zack lifted his head from the comic book and smiled at the 2 people. They looked more friendly than the first one to him. He, again, waved and mumbled, "Hello...I'm Zack..." He looked down at the new man, smiling a little warmer as he looked just as nervous as Zack. These people all looked like normal people, except the last one. Zack had always had the talent of telling if someone is gay, so immediately Zack knew. It didn't bother Zack, as he was bisexual. He nodded his head, acceptingly to Jaxson.

Alexis "Alex" Brown________________________________________________________________________________________

Alex glanced at the other man as he introduced himself, and quietly responded "Alex Brown." Before starting to get his things ready. He glanced at him again, and discovered that he had already pulled a comic book out and started reading it. Indeed, the man wasn't the friendliest he'd met. He sighed and sat down, when another guy came in. This one, if possible, seemed even more like a killjoy. He barely even said a word to them, he simply put his things down and then left to go back outside. It was disappointing, almost.

Alex sat down on his bed leaning his head in his hands wondering what was going to happen next, when the question answered itself. The fourth and probably final boy entered the room, this time bringing more promise than the earlier two.
"Um...hello. My name's Jaxson." Alex looked him up and down for a second. He had a strange look to him, but that only furthered Alex's appreciation of the guy. He looked like a real individual. "Hi, Jaxson. I'm Alex." He said, lifting a hand up to greet the guy.

@LifeNovel

Surprise was all he felt at the moment. Two out of the three has already accepted his presence, but just his presence for he is not sure if they want to accept him whole. The one man reading a comic book replied back, "Hello...I'm Zack..." Jaxson just gave him a warm, almost authentic smile back, then the other man greeted him even approached him with a welcoming hand. "Hi Jaxson. I'm Alex." Jaxson looked down at his hand for a moment. He suddenly felt nervous. The man was so welcoming, Jaxson was not used to this, most often greeted him with spit at his feet. Slowly at first he stuck out his hand, but not wanting to seem nervous he grasped the man's hand.

A slight color came to his face. His hand was warm and skin so smooth. Jaxson was trying hard to restrain his thoughts about the man. He decided to break the awkward tension and asked, "So...um what bunk is available for me?" Jaxson let go of his hand, not wanting to make it seem like an awkward greeting, even though he felt he had already made it awkward.

Zack sighed quietly. He was probably already the outsider. He put his comic away, opening his bag and putting on a grey hoodie. He walked outside and welcomed the cold air. Zack had always liked the nice, cold air of a winter's morning. He looked around, inspecting the view. He saw the man earlier and walked up to him. Zack might at the very least try to make some friends. The man was smoking, which didn't entirely mind Zack.

"Hey. Not sure if you heard earlier, but I'm Zack."
He said, making a very good effort to be friendly. He lifted out his hand and awaited for the man to take it.

@NorbertM

His cigarette was between his lips, his hands in his pockets and his eyes on his surroundings. He looked from one place to another, as if he was trying to get to know the place better. The place was all cold, empty and lonely. You've been very lonely, haven't you, he asked the park, like it was a person. He even waited for a reply, like a fool, which of course, never received.

Abel got startled a little bit when the comic guy approached him from behind. He pulled out one hand from his pocket and led it to the cigarette between his lips, taking a long puff from it, then exhaled the familiar clouds of smoke he was used to. The comic guy's name appeared to be Zack, as he repeated himself.

"Abel." he said, releasing the cigarette from his fingers and took the Zack's hand. He let go after he gripped the man's hand with his and then he led it back to his cigarette, taking another puff, then pulled the cigarette away from his mouth, held in-between his middle finger and index finger.

@Flipperdoo2003

Zack nodded and muttered, "Nice to meet you, Abel." He smiled as he took his hand. Zack mentally ticked his achievement: 'Receive a handshake'. "So..." He asked, fiddling with his big, goofy glasses. "What brings you here?" Zack shrugged. "I mean, everyone has their own story..."

Nice to meet you, the words lingered in his head. He felt the urge to ask him how come is nice to meet him? Abel might turn out to be an ass. Or an idiot. Or both. Not like he was one of the both, but still. He hated the whole thing of nice to meet you, but yet, he didn't cared that much about it, so he let it slide off smoothly.

When Zack asked Abel what brings him here, he replied with an emotionless tone
money. And he was telling the truth. He needed the money, he had to eat, to buy clothes, he needed a roof over his head and a bed to sleep in. He should have said survival, but decided not to correct himself, instead, he thought what to say about his story.

"No bad feelings or anything Zack,", he said, looking at him in the eye, "But I would rather prefer not to tell my story. Not yet. Hopefully, never. Its not a fairy tale with a happy ending and its not something I'm proud of. But, you can go ahead and tell yours if you like. If not, then its fair game."

Zack smiled a little at his remarks. He was kind of cute to Zack. He just looked at the floor, brushing the floor with his leaves. "W-Well..." He paused, looking at Abel. "I guess we've got 2 things in common..." He replied, probably a little harshly. Zack looked back at the floor. "Can I have a ciggy?" He asked, motioning in his pocket.

Abel took another puff as a few strains of his hair from his bun fell on his face. It always annoyed him when that happened. He wished the strains wouldn't fall straight on his face, but elsewhere. He blew it off with a breath, but it remained on his face. With his hand, he moved it behind his ear, and groaned, hoping it will remain there until he puts his face on a pillow. Then, they can do what the heck they want since Abel wouldn't care at all.

"I guess." he commented on having two things in common. "Life sure is a total bitch sometimes. If not all the time."

Afterwards, Abel narrowed his eyes at Zack's request. He slid his hand in his pocket and pulled out his pack of cigarettes, alongside with the box of matches. Using both of his hands, Abel took a look at how many cigarettes he had left and unfortunately for him, there were only 3 left. Minus one. Two. Two cigarettes.
What the hell am I supposed to do with only two? Damn karma. he muttered to himself. He out-stretched the hand with the cigarettes and held the box of matches in the other hand, also stretched towards Zack.

"Cigarette." he said out of the blue. "Its cigarette, not ciggy. We're not 13 or 15 anymore. We're adults. Young adults." he told him, with a calm voice.

Zack mumbled, "Thanks..." and took one of the cigarettes, also taking the match box and lighting it up. He put the cigrette under the flame and soon it caught it. He put it in his mouth, taking a puff. He shrugged. "I' not sure what you're meant to call it. It's only my fifth time, you see..." Zack tried to play it cool, but he was quite nervous and embarrassed. Zack stared up at the man. He actually looked cute when the strands were in the way of his face. Zack had no chance against this man though. He wasn't even gay.

Kora looked at the girl. She observed her dyed hair, and piercings with interest. But as soon as she pulled out the xbox, Kora had the urge to laugh. She just watched as the enthusiastic girl yanked out her xbox, which must have been well used, and plugged it into the tv. While she was doing it, Kora took out her camera and snapped a picture. She smiled. "Name's Kora. You can just call me Kora." She said.

Securing his remaining two cigarettes in his jean's pocket, Abel quickly ran a hand through his hair. He reached at his bun and released his hair from its tight grip. With a nearly finished cigarette in his mouth, Abel used both of his hands to effortlessly gather all his loose hair strains, to tight it down, keep it in check in a bun.

When Zack spoke, Abel turned his eyes on him, his hands still busy with his bun. Abel felt the urge to tell Zack, or demand him to never call a cigarette a ciggy anymore. It was somewhat childish and maybe the cigarette would feel bad. Abel would feel bad if someone would call him Abely or any type of nickname that sounded playful. Abel preferred to be treated as a serious guy most of the time. He would take a break from being serious from time to time, but these breaks were getting shorter and shorter as he was getting older.

"You're a rookie?" he asked plainly, his arms falling down as he finished with his hair. "If you stick around me too much, that might change very soon." he told him.

He threw the cigarette on the ground as it was now finished and crushed it with his foot. He looked at it for a couple of seconds, then felt how Zack's eyes were on him. He lifted up his gaze and met his eyes. He stared in his eyes before sighting out loud.

"Pathetic way to die." he said, as he pointed his finger at the finished cigarette on the ground. "You live your life only to be crushed by an idiot."

Zack nodded and laughed a little. "I guess we'll just have to wait and see." He looked around the park, but stopped as he saw that Abel was staring back at him. A small color of red appeared on his cheeks. 'Was he bisexual as well?' Zack thought. As they stared at each other, the tension rose. Zack looked away, not sure what had just happened. He took a puff of his finished cigarette, and did the same of what he had just did, trying to copy exactly how he did it. He looked down at their two finished cigarettes and shrugged. "Not many people in this world get to make other people feel good...I think we all try..." He mumbled, looking back at Abel. "When do you think the work will start?"

"You're not that used to talking to people, aren't you?" Abel asked him as he noticed his blush.

Why is he blushing, he wondered. He listened carefully as Zack's words poured out of his mouth, with each word coming out, Abel stared more at him. With each word, it made him wonder if there were people out there, in the world, who wished to make other people feel good without wanting something in exchange. He wondered.

"I never met a person who wanted to make me feel good without wanting something in exchange." he told him and yawned. "I don't know," he continued, beginning to answer his question, "But I hope it will be soon. I really need that money."

"Kora." She nodded, "Nice name-" Emily was stopped by the sound of a bell. She looked at Kora, confused, wondering what an Earth the bell could mean. "Should we investigate-or?" She got up. "I think we should." Without even acknowledging the other girl, Emily ran out of the cabin, giddily.

Outside, Em saw the woman who had greeted her, a large school bell in her hand. "Ah." She began,"You heard the bell." She stepped forward. "My names is Linda, I am the owner of the park. My husband, George is up in the coffee room. That's where you can get snacks and such. He usually puts on a good spread of food." Em hadn't noticed before, but the woman was unmistakably British. "Here's your schedule." She handed Emily a piece of paper. "I will put on up in each of the rooms in the bunk house, so don't worry if you loose it."

Em looked down at the paper:

Week 1: Carousel: Emily and Abel

The Bumper cars: Kora and Zack

Ferris Wheel: Alex and Jaxson

(The other girls are yet to post, so I will only put up your guys' shifts until they arrive. You can make up characters who will visit your rides, but from now on, I control the owners of the park. @Icefox11 @NorbertM @Flipperdoo2003.)

Zack smiled, sheepishly. "Hardly ever..." Was it that easy to tell? Zack sighed a little, hoping that he wouldn't hear. This wasn't easy for Zack. Inside, this conversation is using up all of his confidence. He looked back at Abel, but then looked away again. "I guess that's this kind of world we're all in now..." He looked back at the bunk house as he yawned. Was Zack boring Abel? This wasn't going very well. Zack looked at Abel as he answered his question. Abel is probably one of the many that is j---

Zack stopped as he saw the woman ringing a bell. He sighed and gestured for Abel to follow him. He listened to what the woman had to say. He nodded his head, taking the schedule and reading it. Zack just realized that if he hadn't known how to read, he would be in deep shit by now. He saw his name next to Kora and smiled. Bumper cars were Zack's favorite ride so far. He looked around for the supposed girl called Kora. He did notice a girl. He slowly walked over to her and tapped her shoulder. He looked down at his sleeves, noticing that his scars were showing and he quickly pulled them down.

@SpectroVector

Em was looking down at the schedule when she felt a tap on her shoulder, she whirled around and said,"Oh, hi." She smiled. "I'm Emily." Her eyes lit up. So many new people in one day. This was like a dream come true. So many people to talk to and to laugh with. She wanted to meet 'Abel', "Are you Abel?" She said, pointing absently at her schedule.
