The Backrooms have always been a labyrinth of endless yellow-tinted corridors, a place where reality glitches and slips through the cracks. But something has changed. The rules that once held the walls in place are shattering, and now the boundaries between universes have crumbled.

Characters from countless worlds—heroes, villains, and everyone in between—find themselves inexplicably drawn into this twisted maze. One moment, a high-tech superhero is battling their greatest nemesis; the next, they’re wandering aimlessly through the unsettling, buzzing halls. A witch, a soldier, an adventurer—they all collide here, each bringing fragments of their worlds with them, altering the Backrooms in strange, unpredictable ways.

But it’s not just the environments that are merging; the Backrooms themselves are evolving, feeding off the chaos. New zones emerge, reflecting the fears and memories of those trapped within. From dark, endless libraries that whisper forgotten secrets to gardens of flowers that drain memories with each breath, every corner holds a new, terrifying twist.

As survivors explore deeper, they realize they're not alone. There are beings lurking in the shadows—twisted amalgamations of familiar monsters and glitches, entities born from the merging of different universes. They hunt, but not just to kill; they seek to understand, to consume the anomalies that don’t belon
g.

Meanwhile, it seems that there are more than just a few eyes watching..

"WHERE ARE YOU?"
.
.
The smell of old, stale carpet fills the air, mingling with the distant buzz of fluorescent lights overhead. The labyrinthine corridors of the Backrooms stretch endlessly in every direction, each yellowed wall and worn floor tile blurring into the next, a surreal monotony broken only by the occasional flicker of a malfunctioning light. As your footsteps echo off the walls, you can’t help but feel that something—or someone—is watching from the corners where the shadows linger.

It was just supposed to be another day, another mission, another step forward in your own world. But then everything twisted, reality bending around you like the edges of a dream. One moment you were in familiar surroundings, the next you were here—lost in a place that shouldn’t exist, a place where the rules of your reality no longer apply.

The first thing Claire perceived was the musty odor, some kind of... fabric. Her eyelids were slow to open, still heavy with sleep. However, as she moved, she felt the carpet against her skin.

Claire bolted up, ponytail whipping around as she took in her surroundings. The ugly yellow and fluorescent lighting stung the pair of eyes that struggled to acclimate. "What the..." she started, peering out between her fingers. The walls looked vaguely familiar, not too different from the police station she had escaped. Familiar signs and posters, yet everything was tinted that same yellow. What kind of cruel prank was this?

Rising to her feet, Claire checked herself for injuries. She was oddly devoid of bruises, scrapes, and filth—no blood spatter, no sewer sludge. Most of her weapons were also missing, much to her dismay; 'Goodbye, grenade launcher,' she thought.

But most importantly, she was alone. Her only friends in the Raccoon City were missing. "Sherry! Leon!?" she called out. Her heart pounded in her ears as the sensation of eyes on her intensified—watching from places she couldn't see. Shivering, she left the room with haste.

The halls beyond the one in which she awoke were eerily nondescript, as though no one lived, worked, or even existed in this place. "Where am I...?" she muttered under her breath, trying to keep mental note of her surroundings and route thus far.

"The scent...old...fabric?"
Kyojuro Rengoku had trouble ajusting his eyes to the strange light avove him. The last thing he remembered was fighting an Upper rank demon. What was his name again? Akaza. Yes,that was his name.

Then everything turned black. And now here he is in this strange room with those yellow walls. The young Kamado was gone, and was this Akaza Upper rank demon.

The only positive thing about this situation is that his injuries were fully healed.
"AHHHHHH!!!!! WHAT IS THIS PLACE?!!!!" cried a familiar voice. Kyojuro saw a familiar figure running toward him, with a yellow haori and the very same demon slayer Corps uniform underneith.
Kyojuro was happy to see a familiar face in this strange new world.

"It's good to see you boy in yellow!" He said in a loud voice. "It's good to see you too Aniki Rengoku! Though not too loud! Whatever's in here's gonna hear us!" The boy,Zenitsu Agatsuma,a fellow demon slayer replied, crying.

"What do you mean by that?" Kyojuro asked. " My sense of hearing is sharper then that of a normal human being." Zenitsu explained.

"Ever since I ended up here not too long ago...I well,I could hear strange sounds." Zenitsu explained. "I was in another strange place ...the infinity castle I think it was called before I ended up in this other strange place. It's like a plain but still creepy version of the Infinity castle. Is that Muzan Kibutsuji 's doing too?"

"I cannot say for sure." Kyojuro said with a smile.

"Despite all that, I'm glad to see a familiar face here." Zenitsu said."Even though it's one that I thought died!" He added, crying even more."Are you sure that you're not a ghost?"

"Do not worry young Agatsuma. I'm still alive and kicking! Right now,the best course of action right now is to explore and find a way out." Kyojuro replied.
"Look sharp! You are stronger then you think!" Zenitsu stopped crying and nodded to the flame hashira. " I'll do my best."

Somewhere in the vast countryside, a lone truck puttered as it drove along a dirt road. The man in the driver’s seat whispered gentle words to the woman beside him before looking back towards the flatbed, a group of hitchhikers and travelers alike cramped together in their seats. They were certainly a wide variety of folks, that was certain. Yet even so the man found still his eyes partially drawn towards the trio nestled together in the back.

The girl with braids in her hair, Noah, softly conversing with the young boy in the blue jacket. He was explaining something to her, writing something on a piece of paper before clapping and touching it. The boy gave a melancholic smile as he crumpled up the paper and shook his head.

By the child’s side was likely some kind of relative, perhaps a brother or cousin. He held a particularly unique appearance, long blonde hair tied in a ponytail and golden eyes that darted away every time he and the man made eye contact. From what the man heard from Noah, Edward was his name.

Edward gazed on towards the rolling hills, clearly distracted. So, the man repeated himself, this time a little louder than before.

“We’ll get to the next town in three hours”

That finally got the young man’s attention. He’d perk up a little, leaning in to listen to his two companions, not before giving one hesitant glance up at the man before quickly looking away. The man paid it little mind as he turned back to face the road.

Strange kids.

Edward’s shoulders relaxed as the man looked away. Two years and counting, he still never got fully used to the faces of people he once knew worn by the strangers of this world. It left him with a slight tightness in his throat, a reminder of a home he could no longer return to. Still, he’d come a long way from when he’d first arrived to the other side of the gate. Edward wasn’t left to drown in his own solitude for any longer.

“Brother, were you listening?”

“Sorry Al, can you say that again?”

For one, he wouldn’t be taking this on alone.

“Noah said she knows a few people who’ll let us stay with them for a few days, right?”

The girl gave a small smile as she nodded, fiddling with a loose lock of hair.

“Yes, that’s right. Although It's a bit of a walk from there to town”

“Sounds perfect. Fritz said his contact lived on the outskirts of town anyways so it really won’t be a problem for us. Apparently he’s holding onto something pretty important that’s got him paranoid about people prying into it.”

Said paranoia was likely warranted considering that’s exactly what the three of them were going there for. Fritz’s contact appeared to be the most reasonable step towards locating the Uranium Bomb. Now that Edward and Alphonse were a part of this world, they were going to do anything they could to save it from falling into another Great War, and an object capable of that much destruction shouldn’t exist in either Germany or Amestris for that matter. Thus, the Elric brothers would do everything they could to locate it and put an end to any plans which involved its use. It was the least they could do, considering it had been partially their fault for the bomb ending up on this side of the gate to begin with.

Even in an entirely different world, he and Alphonse seemed to always be followed by the weight of their actions during the search for the stone.

Edward yawned, stretching his arms as his attention returned once more towards the sceney.

“Wake me up when we get there”

He’d shuffle to get himself comfortable, leaning against the wall of the truck bed as Alphonse nodded.

“Kay! have a good na-

Before Alphonse could finish his sentence, the world fell silent.

Edward had the unofurate cure of long growing aware with what it felt to encounter and travel through the gate. That sense of overwhelming cosmic fear that stuck you as those two black doors gazed upon your humble form with passive apathy. That dread that set every neuron in your brain alight, all screaming that no matter how you ended up in this place, one thing was absolute. You did not belong here.

In that moment, Edward felt the very same sensation he’d experienced many times before.

Edward was terrified.

“I can’t- Damn it! This can’t be- There wasn’t even a transmutation!”

Before he’d even opened his eyes Edward shot up from the carpeted floor, stumbling as he nearly tripped over his own two legs.

“What did I…?”

Edward opened his eyes.

“….”

This wasn’t the gate.

“….What?”

This wasn’t ANYTHING like the gate. It was in fact so utterly unlike The Gate Edward felt foolish for even thinking otherwise.

His racing heart began to slow, that initial wave of fear beginning to melt away. Still, he wasn’t exactly comforted by his current situation.

“Noah, Alphonse! You there?”

Edward was just about to call out again when he stopped himself. He had no idea where the hell he was and more importantly, who took him here. Loudly giving out his location likely wasn’t going to be the best idea. Still, if Alphonse and Noah also ended up here, Edward absolutely needed to find them.

So, Edward reached for the pistol in his coat, cautiously keeping a hand wrapped around it as he began to walk toward the end of the hallway. He glanced around the corner, checking to make sure nobody was on the other side. With a sigh of relief he continued onward.

As Edward walked, he was particularly careful to check his surroundings. The last thing he needed was to be caught off guard by someone. That didn’t prevent him from letting his mind dwell on other things. Namely, the more he walked the more Edward really started to pick up on the utter weirdness of wherever he was.

It was a building, that was certain. The walls and floors were the same general musty shade of yellow, the patterned wallpaper really only being anything of note. The pattern was…it was a pattern alright. But honestly, any sense of familiarity ended there. For as much as this place was without a doubt not The Gate, that didn’t serve to quell that anxious feeling in his gut.

There was just far too much about this place that felt plain off. The carpet wasn’t any ordinary one, that’s for sure. He couldn’t see the ends or corners of the rugs as if they just simply fused right to the wall! The ceilings were made up of…panels? Or something like that, but the way the place was lit was far stranger. The lamps had been built into the ceiling itself, hidden behind…glass. No, it didn’t look like glass now that he was really staring at it. The weirdest thing about them was that annoying buzzing noise. It sounded like neon lights, but there was no way a neon light would be able to glow that brightly.

Edward would have loved to get up there to take a closer look but not was not the time and it wasn’t like there was anything he could use for leverage.

…If he still had his alchemy that might have been a different story.

Edward let either a huff or a laugh, or maybe a combination of the two.

“Sheesh, two years of getting used to life without it and you’re still complaining. What would teacher think?”

Edward mumbled to himself. He’d take one last confused glance towards the light fixture before shaking his head and walking away. Maybe if he walked long enough he’d find some kind of clue to what the hell was going on.

"Noah? Alphonse? You there?"

Zenitsu jumped in surprise as he heard a voice.
"Something wrong boy in yellow?" Kyojuro asked. "We're not alone...." Zenitsu said looking toward the west side of this strange location. "Fortunatly,it's a human being like the both of us.He just as lost as we are."Zenitsu explained.
"Good to know!" The flame hashira replied cheerfully""Let's seek out this lost individual!" "Welllllll I 'm not really sure it's a good idea." Zenitsu replied, shaking like a leaf. "Will we be able to find him?"
"With your sharp hearing, I'm sure we will!" Kyojuro shouts. "Let's not waste anymore time!"
--------'

At least ten minutes later, thank to Zenitsu's ears, the two Demon Slayers found the individual. A young man. Both Kyojuro and Zenitsu could tell ftom his clothing that he was from Europe, from the Taisho era too.

"Pardon me my young friend." Kyojuro shouts to the young man." You serm lost. My young yellow haired friend and I ended up in this strange new world. You might be a stranger to us but if we join forces,we might be able to survive!"

He paused for a second. "My name is Kyojuro Rengoku! And this boy in yellow is...what was your name again?

Zenitsu looked shocked. "You don't remember Aniki? It's Zenitsu Agatsuma!" He calmed down and signed.

"I don't think this short guy will want to join us..." Zenitsu muttered.

Upstairs, the Head Doctor mixed together vials of dangerous chemicals. Downstairs, Tōru smiled at an old woman he helped up from the waiting room. As he turned a corner, Wonder of U in the guise of Dr. Akefu phased through his office door and appeared next to Tōru on the first floor. Away from his main duties as intern, Tōru let the facade for just a second. In truth, he was worried; his cohorts hadn't reported whether or not they had caught the fruit thief, and they usually got back to him pretty quick. Even Poor Tom hadn't shown up with that little brick house of his, which was strange at the least.

Maybe he needed assistance. Whoever was stealing the Rocacaca obviously was a force to be dealt with, and atmospheric pressure can only go so far.

The quickest way to get anywhere in Morioh wouldn't be by car. Besides, he never cared for the licenses. He could probably sneak into one of the ambulances as a paramedic and use the GPS, with Wonder of U on his tail to keep any of the other doctors away. Striding past the emergency area, Tōru knelt down to snag one of the medic helmets when-

...

What was that?

Tōru shot up. He'd been alive for nearly 89 years but his body had never been... moved in such a way before. There weren't any helmets in the cabinet, but the cabinet was also way thinner now. Quickly leaving the room, Tōru paused when he found the sliding doors to the emergency room lain against the wall with no exit behind them. His expression never changed, but worry quickly fell on his cold heart. As he continued through the hospital, the rooms were mutating, plainly smoothing out into the bare walls of some kind of office space. The loud lights seemed to get louder, and the white tile burned away into beige carpet.

Tōru leaned on a wall. It was some other place that he'd been transported to without his knowledge. He dug his hands into the pockets of his lab coat and took stock of what he had on him. His earbuds, a pen, a medical saw from a job earlier; if this was a stand ability, he would need whatever he could keep to survive. If it wasn't... then it was something much worse.

On the thought of equipment, Tōru's heartbeat picked up, but slowed when Wonder of U was able to manifest right next to him. While it was clearly able to go through surfaces like most stands, the walls gave him an eerie feeling. He'd probably keep the Akefu disguise going until any clear signs of danger occurred.

Speaking of...

There were voices around the corner. In a beat, Tōru supported Wonder of U's shoulder as his elderly Head Doctor disguise took over, something that wouldn't dissipate unless someone figured it out. The two walked together as if separate people.

"Hello? Is anyone there? Don't worry sir, I'll see if we can't get you somewhere safe."

He spoke to Wonder of U to a degree that could still be heard in the echoes of the empty labyrinth. Empathy was key as long as a fight didn't break out.

TREVOR PHILLIPS
If I wasn't a narcissist,

Trevor sits up, the world was extremely spinny for some weird reason that Trevor couldn't remember. It was only a few seconds until his body collapsed back onto the ground, weak.

A pained groan escapes from his lips, he scratches the bald spot on his head since it was itchy. He lays down, closing his eyes, maybe a quick nap would help relieve the hang over?

The odd buzzing noise wouldn't even let him close his eyes for more then a minute due to his paranoia, especially not for a nap.

Then a annoying voice, that sounded a lot like Michael, says the stupidest shit he's ever heard. "Maybe it's because of all the alcohol you consumed last night? You should definitely stop inhaling gasoline."

Fuck, he missed Mikey. But fuck no, if it was up to him, he wouldn't cut back on any of the things he took. He probably could if he wanted too, but he didn't wanna.

Trevor rubs at his forehead, trying to relieve his headache. Feeling the familiar ache in his bladder, Trevor reluctantly stands up, he looks around for the closer washroom, when he doesn't find one, he walks over to a corner, doing his business there.

It wasn't until his mind recognised the fact Wade wasn't being an annoying shit for once that he realised something fishy was up.

He puts his thing away before deciding to wander around, his hand wonders to his assault rifle, only to realise he was left only with his pistol.

His brown eyes take in the eerily yellow walls, causing his breath to hitch, and his heart to race so fast it felt like he was on the verge of a heart attack.

He recognised where he was, he didn't believe that it existed, but now he was stuck there.

THE BACKROOMS.

He tried to remember the last thing that happened, he was hanging out with Franklin and Michael after a tough mission. One that made him extremely wanted by the government overall.

A cruel chuckle escapes from his lips. "Let's see who else is where, huh?"

I wouldn't like me either

"I wanted to thank you for helping with this today."

Elfnien offered a smile as she held the metal case with both hands. The alchemic scientist was the only person shorter than Shirabe in SONG (Squad of Nexus Guardians).

Shirabe had been sent to a parallel world on her own to bring some important data from another Elfnien back here. Thankfully, it was a simple assignment, so Shirabe had been chosen to handle it. The fact Shirabe was usually given the easiest of missions wasn't lost on her but she didn't let it bother her. If anything, she just wished Kirika could have accompanied her. It was very rare for the two to be separated since it was a known fact their gears were best when paired.

"It wasn't a problem at all Elfnien-san. I'm happy to have helped."

Shirabe took a glance at the Gjallarhorn. It hovered motionless within the empty chamber.

That thing is so ominous.

The raven hair clasped her hands together in front and patiently waited for her chance to leave.

"You know, it is an enigma isn't it? I would like to think everything will be okay in the future but we can never be too sure. Don't worry Shirabe-san. If another alert occurs, everyone will work together to solve it right?"

Elfnien smiled and Shirabe quietly returned the smile with a closed eyed nod. The researcher couldn't hide her slight concern either. Sometimes when it's been calm for so long....

Not to mention Noble Red was out there, scheming.

As Elfnien made her exit, Shirabe took a few steps of her own, only to halt as she thought she had heard something. The alarm? It couldn't be, it was so quiet. Normally it resounded throughout the entire submarine!

Turning quickly to check what could be happening, Shirabe suddenly felt like she was falling.

"Ahhhh!"

The sensation stopped just as sudden as it started.

All around was a yellowish interior.

Yellow? SONG HQ had very little yellow decor.

Shirabe took a startled but ready stance. Her head looking to the right and the left as her twintails swayed and pink eyes gazed around. This... wasn't the chamber! Where was the relic?

"Elfnien-san? Elfnien-san?!"

It looked like she had been sent to some old building. There was something, uncanny about it. The soft buzzing sound of the overhead lights reminded her of the lighting within White Orphanage. Was this a parallel world? Where was the way back? Shirabe instinctively touched the device in her ear to try and contact the commander or anyone, but she remembered that it wouldn't work. That's why she was sent by Elfnien anyway. Direct communication wasn't possible through these.

"...this isn't good."

Calming herself, she checked the small leather bag attached to her hip. Good, she hadn't needed to use her LINKER on the last trip so she had some if needed. It would be very bad for a Karma Noise to show up right now. Keeping her pendant hidden under her jacket. Shirabe did the only thing she could... she explored. Hopefully she could get out of this place and find this world's SONG.

Assuming it even exists in this world...

"ROAMING AROUND. UNCANNY FEELINGS AND SIGHTS.."
.
.

The air feels heavy as the fluorescent lights overhead flicker erratically, casting long shadows down the seemingly endless corridor of yellow, decaying wallpaper. The faint hum of electricity buzzes in the distance, almost drowned out by the eerie silence that hangs in the space. You’ve been walking for what feels like hours—maybe even days—but the halls stretch endlessly, each turn revealing more of the same monotonous, disorienting scenery.

Suddenly, you hear a sound, faint but distinct—a shuffling of footsteps. You aren’t alone here. It could be another lost soul, but the fear gnawing at your gut tells you otherwise. As you turn a corner, the lights buzz again and, for a moment, you swear you see something—a shadow, a figure—but it’s gone before you can fully register it.

The walls seem to close in the deeper you go, the carpet damp underfoot, exuding a strange, sour smell. Every so often, you pass through strange, glitching doorways or staircases that lead to nowhere. There’s no rhyme or reason to the Backrooms—nothing behaves as it should, as if reality itself is breaking down.

As your feet carry you farther into this fetid-smelling labyrinth, you notice a strange detail on one of the walls. A black arrow is painted on the wallpaper, seemingly pointed left. You decide to follow its direction, the gnawing fear returning again. It could be a trap, but as you peer from the corridor—nothing. nothing was there—for now—but it was somewhere to take refuge for the time being. You decided to stop here and rest, only to notice the wall behind you. It was covered with doodles, one being a pair of eyes.

The doodles were vague and scrawl. But one stood out to you: "DONT MOVE, STAY STILL." The handwriting was crude, but it was a clue nonetheless.

Maybe you could wait for others to arrive, if there IS any.

With the narrowing of his eyes, the last thing Chuuya recalls is putting an end to Fukuchi’s insidious plot whilst untangling Fyodor’s manipulative game pretending to fall prey to the vampire virus. It was meticulously planned to leave little crumbs or for the enemy to be suspicious. All in all it was a successful mission though it ended with the deaths of their enemies, a well thought out plan by Dazai. Thinking of Dazai he doesn’t see the tail or hide of the brunette at all. Squinting his eyes, taking note of the odd heaviness in the air, the fetid smell of rotting fabric. He follows the noise of people. “ Hello? Anyone? Where the fuck are you Dazai..?” He pinched his nose irritably, having not seen the other man in awhile. He noticed some odd characters, two looked like cosplayers though a quick glance spoke otherwise, their clothing suggest Zenitsu and are Rengoku are time traveling interlopers from feudal Japan, the evidence i.e. their katanas look real. There’s Edward whose clothing suggests he’s from Germany. He didn’t know what to make of Toru or his friend, Shirabe looked like a pop idol. He overheard Zenitsu call Edward, ‘Chibi’; it left the red head to furrow his eyebrows.

In an instant, Chuuya felt empathetic to Edward; he's been the butt of stupid comments at the expense of his height, it’s infuriating to say the least. Though he’s an asshole most of the time, the redhead can empathize. Shaking his head,” Fucking kid, no respect.” It’s not his battle though he’d like to clock the little shit head on the jaw. He shot Zenitsu an intense sharp look with his azure orbs as he kept on going the hall ways seem to stretch endlessly, it’s any wonder if there’s some kind of monster with their torture equipment waiting for them. Frowning, the smell of the decaying wallpapers wafted to his nostrils. “ The fuck is this shit?” He noticed the pair of eyes staring as if watching him, very creepy shit. Though the message says to stay put. It felt ominous; however, Chuuya being a port mafia member he’s been through some shit. He put his hands on his hips.

She woke up from a horrible dream that Kefka threw off the delicate balance of the mana energies the warring triad exuded. That action created a cataclysm that would charge her world forever. Everything was a blur to her, trying to escape the crumbling sky continent; how the earthquakes rattled the planet. The plaintive cries of the people and the planet reached her ears, it twisted her stomach at their power; how the warring triad cruelly twisted the crust of the planet.

Terra wandered down the hallway picking new sights and smells, the acrid aroma of decayed fabric made the bile rise up to her throat though kept on going on. “ hello? Anyone here?” She asked softly, smiling at the new faces though it’s no time to rest. With her six senses, the back room felt odd to her, seemingly like a dimensional rift maybe.

She didn’t quite understand what chibi means, but it can’t be good because of the look of anger written all over Edward’s face. Taking Chibi as an insulting term, she didn’t know what to do except offer Edward a sympathetic look, she kept on going noticing the stretching hallways seem to go on, it feels like a maze, as if it’s teasing her. She joined Chuuya, quite confused by the message and the arrow pointing left, it’s quite ominous.

The pair of eyes is unsettling like someone or something is watching Chuuya and her. She kept her wits about her. Despite how wary she is of this place. How this place feels familiar to her, like she’s trying to escape the floating continent again. The warring triad’s auras felt just as overwhelming as before.

She kept her eyes and ears peeled for signs of danger, being attuned to the supernatural and having natural affinity to magic, it’s not too difficult to pick up sudden shifts, or emotions. Although she stayed near Chuuya, safety in numbers is the way to go. “ What’s going on..?” She mumbles.

For a moment, Claire could swear she heard voices from elsewhere. She didn't dare shout; it felt dangerous in this otherwise silent and oppressive atmosphere.

Then, there were the footsteps... The hair on the back of Claire's neck stood up. They were faint but reminiscent in her mind of a 7-foot ghoul she encountered previously. Couldn't be... She hit him directly with a missile. She watched him explode into hundreds of tiny, gory bits. Claire drew her gun instinctively, performing brass and mag checks. "Thirteen plus one," she whispered to herself. "Gotta make it count." Her hip pouch and pockets were empty, save for her lockpick and lighter.

Rounding the corner, Claire stalked through the halls. Doorways that led to walls, dead-end stairs... She could hardly believe her eyes. The disgusting carpet squelched underfoot, yet nothing told her why it was wet. Her keen eyes perceived no warping, sagging, or stains on the ceiling and walls; had someone simply spilled a large bucket of water here? It must have been this way for a while, judging by the foul odor of soured nylon fibers.

The survivalist finally discovered a black arrow painted on the wall, breaking up the otherwise solid, maddening yellow. Beyond that, voices—this time more defined. Conversation, arguing, whining... This time, she was sure they belonged to real people, so she jogged forward. "Hello?" she raised her voice.

A murmur from just around a different corner caused her to swing around with a sharp gasp. Certain people with keen hearing may have heard the mechanical click of her pistol's safety disengaging. It was a man, disheveled and dirty-looking. Mean as it was for her to think, he reminded her of someone from an educational video about drug addiction. He, too, had a pistol. "Don't shoot!" she implored.

ZAEED MASSAINI
Two sides to a story,

Zaeed lays down, staring at the ceiling. He's been awake for a while, but didn't feel the need to get up.

In all honesty, he was scared too, he didn't know where he was, but it for sure wasn't the correct era for him.

It was a few hundred years ago at least, and Zaeed didn't like that idea.

Zaeed's scarred hands wandered to his pocket, searching for his cigarettes. He groans when he realises there was only three left. It'd last him about an hour and a half.

"Fucking hell." He groaned out. He sits up, feeling the familiar heaviness of his assault rifle, Jessie, against his back. Zaeed had nearly a hundred bullets for her, but didn't know how well she'd hold out since he just fixed her last week.

He pinches his nostrils closed when he smells the musky area of wherever he was. The smell of piss was somehow better then the stank of this place.

He looks around, seeing nothing but yellow walls and lights that hurt his eyes.

He closes his eyes, leaning against the wall as he slowly regains his balance. His mind slowly processes the noise the lights made, it's been a couple decades since lights last made that noise.

He tries to remember the last thing that happened to him.

He was about to go though a mass relay when all of a sudden it exploded, and he ended up in this hellhole.

He looks down at his supply: three medi-gel containers, 65 bullets for his pistol, 30 for his sniper rifle and 82 for his assault rifle. He stocked up for his trip to omega about Shepard won the reaper war.

Zaeed decides to explore, looking to see if this era had a shop he could steal cigarettes from since he was highly doubtful his credits would work.

It wasn't long before he discovered a creepy area that made a shiver run up his spine. It was rare for Zaeed to feel fear, but something about this area wanted to make him pray to a god he never believed in in the first place.

He sinks down to the floor, trying to calm his breathing down, if anyone else was in that place with him, he couldn't reveal the fact he was scared. Emotions were a sign of weakness, something that could be easily exploited.

He pulls out his weed vape, something the kids in his era thought was old fashioned and stupid. He takes a few puffs, sighing as he feels his nerves go down. He was still uneasy but at least he could think straight again.

Zenitsu turned to the guy who told him he ha no respect. " I....I'm sorry okay! I ment no offence!"Zenitsu said to Chuunya and Terra. His attention shifted toward two more individuals. One youthful and the other elderly. Though the sounds coming from the elderly man were not human... and his companion didn't seem completly human either. Zenitsu followed Kyojuro through the strange labyrinth.

Then strange sounds were heard....it seemed to be footsteps...maybe there more like them who were lost. "No,that's not it!"
"What's wrong Agatsuma?" Kyojuro asked. "Those sounds...something's coming..." Zenitsu said. He was on the verge of tears. " I'm so scared!!!! Those sounds!!!!! They're coming for us!!!! What if it's a demon?!"
"Then we'll take of it!" Kyojuro cried with a smile.
Zenitsu looked around. "The smell, I don't know if it comes from those disgusting carpets....It smells so bad....Tanjiro would die if he was here!"
His friend and fellow Demon Slayer,Tanjiro Kamado had a sharp sence of smell.

Kyojuro stopped,Zenitsu looked where he was looking. A black arrow pointing left was on the wallpaper. "That's where we must go! Follow my lead!" said Kyojuro to his allies.Zenitsu followed the Flame hashira through the corridor. A wall with strange doodles came into view. Zenitsu shaked like a leaf as he saw the eyes. Then those words.
"Don't move Stand still."

"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN?!" Zenitsu cried. "Are we suppose to wait for whatever creature's to come and kill us all?!!! I don't want to die!!!!"

"Then let them come! If all of us have weapons or other ways to defend ourselves, then there will be nothing to worry about!" Kyojuro reassured his allies.

Another voice was heard, this one female. "You are among friends!" Kyojuro shouts to Claire. " If we work together,we will get through this!"

"I hope so..." a still crying Zenitsu whines.

Narrowing his eyes, he wordlessly marched over to Zenitsu, rolling his eyes. Grabbing the front of Zenitsu’s haori. “ You, quit whining and crying. Are you a fucking mouse or a man? Grow a pair of balls, you don’t see me breaking down like a wimp, we’re in this together. We’ll fight this together, you can just stand there crying like a wuss, or dry your tears and act like a fucking man, choice is yours.” He let Zenitsu go, shaking his head. This wimp is surely going to die if he keeps this up, Chuuya isn’t going to shed a tear for his loss if this fucker doesn’t shape up.

He went to the source of the noise finding Claire and Trevor, who looked decrepit, probably from too much drug use. He had seen drug cartels as part of the port mafia. Claire and Trevor are armed. Knitting his eyebrows, all he needs is to use his gravity ability to turn to the table in case shit goes down.

He noticed the doodles on the wall. It all seems really creepy though he shifted his attention back to Trevor. “ Put the gun down,” Chuuya lowered his voice, carefully measured. He’ll spring into action if needed. He stood near Claire as he noticed Zaaed sitting in the corner, armed.. with what looked like weapons that aren’t something he’s seen before. “ Both of you don’t shoot.

Zenitsu looked toward Chuuya as he grabbed his haori. He supringly looked serious but still sad. "I...I know. I should stop crying...I can't help it." Zenitsu replied. "I really want to improve,I really do. I hate myself for being a coward. I want to protect my friends...I want to be braver..." he added sadly.
He felt an hand on his left shoulder.
"There is room for improvement Young Agatsuma!" Kyojuro told him with a smile. "You are stronger then you think."
Zenitsu smiled. "Thank you Aniki. "
Kyojuro's atrention shifted toward Trevor. The flame hashira dashed toward Claire and Chuunya to protect them. " Here is no room for such behavior!" Kyojuro said to Trevor, lecturing him.
" I advice you to lower your weapon down!" He helt to tilt of his katana in case things turn bad.

Now that I got a taste, I think that I'd suffocate

Trevor stiffens when he heard the voice of a woman, he glances at her, judging her to be no more then 21 at most, he lowers his pistol. "What are you doing here kid?" He asks, his attitude surprisingly gentler then usual.

Zaeed, on the other hand, was about to threaten the girl for some answers until he realized she was basically a kid. "Kid, could ya tell me what you know about this goddamn place?"

"This isn't a dream, is it?" Trevor groans as he saw a guy his age, dressed in a weird, better then military grade armour, he runs a hand though his balding hair.

"I fucking doubt it's a dream freakshow." Zaeed snaps at Trevor.

"Freakshow?" Trevor pulls Zaeed up by the collar, aiming his pistol at the taller man's head, not giving a single fuck the other man was better armed then he was. "You wanna call me that again?" He growls.

"I dare you to shoot jackass." Zaeed puts his blade against Trevor's throat. "Go ahead, shoot me." He sneers.

"I fu-." Trevor cuts himself off as he saw a jackass tell him to put the gun down. "I'll shove a hockey stick up your ass if you say one more thing."

Zaeed glances at the brat, he wasn't gonna bear a child up, but anyone above 21 was far game, and Chuuya still looked old enough. "Gimme one reason why I shouldn't shoot ya now." He challenges Chuuya.

Before Zaeed could actually pull out his pistol, Trevor pressed the gun further into his head. "I threatened him first, he's mine to kill, you asswipe!" He snarls.

"Come on, if you're so rough do it!" Zaeed glares at Trevor.

Trevor clicks the safety off on his gun, before he could actually shoot the Australian, he got cut off by another fucking brat telling him to put down his gun. "Whatcha going to do jackass?"

Arrows?

This place was much larger than the SONG member had imagined. It also lacked any sort of... common sense? Why would a building even be built this way? Was it underground? Was this some sort of secret base? No.. that wouldn't make sense either.

Who placed these? What was that sound? Those movements? Was someone follwing her?

Noise are usually a lot more direct.

Not changing her steady pace, Shirabe followed the arrows until eventually she came across...

"DONT MOVE, STAY STILL"

ak7FY2N.png

"What is this is? Am I mouse in a maze?."

Her hand rested on her bag as she finally heard voices and noticed... people?! A sigh of relief escaped her lips but quiet enough to hide. Then she noticed how they were dressed..

Each one was so different, it was like looking at multiple parallel worlds at once, or even just cosplayers in the case of the greenish blonde haired female, then there was the man who looked like some sort of military operative. When a bunch of strangely dressed individuals are gathered together it was a good indication they might be Alchemists, or Illuminati, or Noble Red.... or..

Guns?

"Don't shoot."

"What's going on?"

"I DON'T WANNA DIE!"

"Put the gun down."

ryVkqst.png

Starrrrre.

While her face stayed fairly calm, her heartbeat had increased in pace. This was a very complicated and now with guns involved, dangerous situation. Using her Symphogear against civilians was against the rules and she couldn't be sure who these people were. They seemed to be infighting which meant they couldn't all be enemies... right? Seeing how Shirabe was wearing her uniform with S.O.N.G. written on it, if they were enemies she was in trouble.

The strange sounds and possible stalker was also not yet revealed....

All the random names and tensions were far from helpful so maybe things could settle down. Shirabe held back her own concerns, she missed Kirika, Maria and the others already...

Unsure what to say or do, Shirabe just decided to ask up front.

Claire lowered her weapon as another guy in classy garb told her and the older man to lower both their guns. Others soon followed, and the situation soon blew up. Another stranger soon joined the fray, threatening others with weapons she didn't recognize.

"Look, we all need to calm right down," Claire urged the odd gathering from across eras. "So clearly, we're not where we're supposed to be, but whatever this place is, it gives me the frickin' creeps. Let's just... cool it, not shoot anyone, and talk, okay?" Her tone gradually softened as she eased the pistol into her waistband, though the scene made her nervous.

"I'll start. I'm Claire... Claire Redfield."

...

If it was a stand attack, it would have had to have been an incredibly wide one.

Peering from around the corner, a group of strangers slowly amassed based on their reactions to one another. Young adults, older folk, children, all in different kinds of clothing as well. Some seemed more stylish, some more ancient. It was a puzzle at the very least. Slowly, Tōru walked out in the small clearing, past a number of black arrows on the nasty vanilla wallpaper, and into view of the others.

Tōru walked with Wonder of U in the guise of the elder Akefu, as if supporting him along with his walking cane.

"
Hey... are you guys lost too? Do you know where we are?"'

He kept his hands on Akefu's shoulders in plain sight. If they looked innocent enough and were clearly unarmed, maybe they'd be less aggressive immediately.

Edward continued his way through the building for who knows how long, meandering through endless hallways and rooms. Every step he took only left the alchemist all the more baffled. This couldn’t be a normal building, there’s no way.

“A bunker maybe? It might’ve been built for the war”

Edward muttered to himself as he stopped to glare at the same room he walked past for what was likely the third or fourth time.

“If that’s it then who knows how huge this place actually is!”

For all he knew just mindlessly wandering could have only gotten him all the more lost.

Edward was just about to consider putting that arm and leg to use in punching a hole through the wall when he heard two sets of steps coming his way.

“Shit!”

Edward dipped behind the wall, hand reaching for the inside of his jacket as he snuck a glance towards the approaching strangers.

Two young men. Both were Asian, but strangely with hair brightly dyed yellow and orange. They looked to be wearing some sort of like a baggy military uniform, but definitely nothing he recognized. Edward wasn’t all too versed in the cultures of Asia but he was aware that some countries had apparently taken a liking to the design of Europe’s naval uniforms and had based their school uniforms off of them.

However, based on the swords they were armed with, it was clear these were certainly no ordinary schoolboys.

No matter, if these guys were with whatever jerk kidnapped him, perhaps Edward could wring out information from them, after teaching them a lesson.

Just as Edward was about to confront the strangers, he heard a boisterous yet strangely friendly voice come out from the taller man.

Just as Edward was beginning to connect the dots, it seemed the universe took satisfaction in placing him right back at square one. Despite his appearance and the weapon, the man showed no indication that he held any ill intentions. So, Edward took his hand from out his jacket and approached them calmly, although still with some lingering caution.

“…‘lo”

Edward gave a brief wave as the man introduced himself and his cohort.

They seemed to be quite well versed in Edward’s language, however there were a few things off with what the elder man said.

It could have been a translation error, but the way he phrased things. ‘Strange new world’, and ‘survive’. For as much as Edward hoped it was simply a mistake, nothing else about how he spoke gave any indication he was struggling to communicate. It was probably paranoia, maybe the result of his own past experiences with ‘strange worlds’ but Edward couldn’t help but linger on those thoughts, for as ridiculous as it seemed.

Edward was just about to ask for him to elaborate when the little snot nosed kid next to him said about the last thing Edward wanted to hear.

Short.

Short guy.

A vein bulged on Edward’s head as he saw red.

Tiny.

Miniscule.

So utterly puny you needed a magnifying glass just to see him.

Now, did Edward want to drop kick the brat to the other side of the earth? Absolutely. However, he’s a grown man. Over the years he’s grown both in height and with it has grown in his maturity (however much one being inch taller was equivalent was a question for another day). So, rather than shoving that sword where the sun doesn’t shine, Edward breathed in.

“The. name. Is. Edward.” he gritted out.

There, happy? No harm done. Now if the kid said one more comment about his height then all bets were off.

Thankfully Zenitsu would be saved from further burying himself deeper into the hole he created, as Edward’s attention was swiftly stolen away by the sudden arrival of more folks. And with each one he noticed, they seemed to get all the stranger.

But there was no time to dwell, someone had pulled out a gun, and the room went silent.

Then it erupted into chaos.

Rengoku had already been trying to calm down Zenitsu who was screaming and wailing about something, but now one of the older men was threatening to shoot the red haired guy, and things really did seem like they’d reach a boiling point.

Heck, even if it would absolutely make the situation worse, Edward too could feel the panicked temptation to pull out his own weapon in defense. But no, he stopped himself as the others worked to calm everyone down.

The black haired girl was rather blunt, simply asking who everyone was and where they were, the auburn haired girl giving her name as ‘Claire Redfield’.

Still very much keeping his eyes on the armed men, Edward joined in introducing himself to the others.

“I’m Edward Elric”

As for what the guy with the weird hair had asked-

“…and I think we’re all pretty confused about where we are right now”

When Trevor and Zaeed fought over who got to kill him first, Chuuya rolls his eyes, scoffing, of course Claire gets off easy. Wow, I got two old bastards fighting over me wanting to kill me, ha! Must be my lucky day, he thought. He was going to snap back with a threat of his own when Claire jumped in as the voice of reason. “ This place gives me horror movie vibes.” Though he can’t help but give Zaeed and Trevor an intense glare. His temper dies down for now. “ Chuuya Nakahara.” He turned to Toru, nodding, with a frown. Still; unsure what to make of this guy. “ Looks like you’re just as lost as we are.” Finally, he noticed Shirabe.” Don’t know what this place is.. none of us do.” He confirmed what Ed said.

Even more people. Some had accents. Luckily Shirabe learned English at least while in FIS. As it was a American based organization.

"I'll start. I'm Claire... Claire Redfield."

“The name’s Edward Elric”

“Chuuya Nakahara.”

"Shirabe Tsukuyomi."

Back then... she surely wouldn't have just given her name to strangers. This was what being more open with others meant. If everyone here had no idea where they were... then this might be related to the Gjallarhorn! But how could it have transported people that weren't even in the chamber? Didn't you need a Symphogear to even travel safely? Sadly, Shirabe just didn't understand everything and was far from a researcher in the field of relics.

It seemed the immediate danger may have lessened. Her gaze shifted to the side as if trying to check for the mysterious stalker from earlier...

ZAEED MASSAINI
I know I'm the villain, don't gotta ask why

A quiet groan escapes from his lips as he heard all the names he was never going to remember, Claire blahblahblah, and a few Japanese people. Well, Zaeed could only assume they were Japanese.

Trevor on the other hand, didn't even brother trying to remember any of their names. It came in one ear and out the other.

"My name's Zaeed fucking Massani, the best Merc in this galaxy and you better fucking know it." He grumbles.

Trevor snickers. "Zaeed Massani? Yeah right." Trevor recognized the name, it was the same guy from that video game Wade was obsessed with. And the same video game guy he admittedly HAD a crush on. "Just 'cause you're obsessed with a bitch that doesn't make you them."

Zaeed glares at Trevor. "Oh yeah, who the fuck are you."

Trevor lazily grins. "My name's Dover." He winks at Zaeed, knowing it'd irritate the other man further.

"Lemme fucking guess, you're first name's Ben huh. That joke is old." Zaeed snaps, he backs away back to the corner he was in. He bends over, picking up his vape that Trevor made him drop.

You try to step to me, it'll be the last time
