Claire rolled her eyes at the snark between the unhappy couple. She was still on edge, despite her and the others' efforts de-escalating the situation and the realization she now had safety in numbers. Now that she had a better look at Zaeed, she noticed he had multiple guns. Their designs were still unlike anything she had seen, but she could at least guess what they were. Someone with more firepower made her feel safer.

Claire started trying to put together the big picture as she entered the room from whence the majority came. "Edward's got a point. Could be underground. I haven't seen any windows. The carpet's a weird touch, but so are stairs that go nowhere. And these scribbles... Did any of you make them?"

Another burning question crossed her mind. "There's another thing, too: I'm missing some of my stuff. No one found any guns lying around, right?" These people looked like they had good sense. Surely, they'd have picked it up if they found it, but it didn't hurt to ask.

Trevor and Zaeed act as if they’re married for years, albeit, angry and an old couple. Chuuya ignores them thinking Edward’s assessment has some weight to them, it got the redhead thinking. He cupped his chin as he dived deep into his thoughts, with Edward’s assessment it seems to provoke his own thoughts. Lowering his hands, “ Makes sense if it’s underground though I wonder if supernatural forces are at play or someone is trying to mess with us in some weird, psychological mind fuck way.” He shifted his attention to Claire, “ Yeah, this is some creepy shit, huh? No, I didn’t make those weird doodles. I happened upon them, did you not see the creepy as hell pair of eyes staring down at you? It’s so weird. And, no, I didn't find any guns lying around.” He narrowed his eyes, figuring this mystery is around Dazai’s alley. When he thought of Dazai he thought of how he can likely figure this bull shit out, it may be creepy yet Chuuya isn’t scared at all. Rather he figure who or what is trying to fuck with them and get the fuck out. He wants to go back home to Yokohama rather than this shit hole.

Sighing, his attention goes to Edward and Claire, “ I guess to get out is to cooperate with each other..” He didn’t know. What he did know is this place seems straight from a horror movie, so working together and cooperating may or may not be the key to getting the fuck out. It’s not easy to work with others given his temper, they’re in a strange predicament, with each other for company.

"As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps,I cannot hurt other human being." Kyojuro told Trevor." However if you do not cooporate,I might you knock you unconcious." he warned. He then turned to Zenitsu and the others.
"My name is Kyojuro Rengoku,Flame hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps! Nice to meet you all"
"Zenitsu Agatsuma... Kinoe rank Demon Slayer." Zenitsu replied sadly. He looked at Claire,Terra and the other two girl and blushed. If he had ended up here before he met Tanjiroand Nezuko,Zenitsu would have had begged the girls to marry him. Fortunatly,he's no longer like that. He had more respect for women and his hear belong to Nezuko.

Nezuko...

Would he ever see her again...

Stay positive Zenitsu! As he looked toward Edward, his thoughts were interupted. Ever since he accidently called him short, sounds of anger came from the guy. It seems he dosen't like being short.

"Listen...Edward,right?" Zenitsu said as came close to him. "I...want to apologise for what I said about ...well..what I said earlier." He avoided mentioning his height. He didn't want to make an enemy out of him.
"I didn't mean it..."

"Elric-sama,Miss Claire, you are right. If we join forces,we might be able to get out." Kyojuro said.
He then heard Claire ask about any guns lying around. "I'm affraid I haven't seen any firearms in the area." He replied."About those doodles,it is indeed strange. A warning perhaps?"

At the very least the situation didn’t get worse though it didn’t help that uneasy feeling in Terra. Those strange doodles certainly unsettling then there’s the eyes creepily watching over them, someone or something is clearly lurking in the shadows waiting to pounce on them. She didn’t feel better except for being anxious. No sense in scaring herself, her gaze to Claire’s countenance, shaking her head. “ I came across those strange drawings, then there’s the eyes. And, no I didn’t see any firearms lying around either.” She agrees working together helps their survival rate higher. Terra has no issue with working any of them, perhaps this is the key to their survival uh this dark, decrepit place. She silently agrees with Edward as well, seeing he has a good point of this place being a bunker, still didn’t lessen her anxiety. “ I agree we should all work together, a better chance at making it through.” Maybe just maybe if things are right, they may form bonds together. She thought about what Rengoku said those doodles being a warning. “ A warning, from what..” Those footsteps, the tense air that hangs in the back rooms, it all felt creepy to her.

TREVOR PHILLIPS

Trevor shoves Zaeed. "If you're actually who you claim to be, gimme a shotgun!" He loudly exclaims.

Before Zaeed even got a chance to respond to the older man's demands though, he was shoved out of the way by a pissed off Trevor.

Trevor roughly grabs Chuuya by his shirt. "Why the fuck are you ignoring me short shit? You think you're better then me or something!" He shouts in the young man's face.

He shakes Chuuya roughly by the shirt, "Come on dumbass, pay me some fucking attention before I smash your pretty skull open!"

Zaeed steps back, raising his hands in surrounder. "I have nothing to do with this." He says, his Australian accent thicker then usual since he was upset.

Interacting with: Kaiju Cat

Narrowing his eyes, he could easy fuck up Trevor with his gravity ability. “Are you sure you should be shit talking and threatening me, a total stranger?” He inquired, his eyes locked with Trevor’s orbs. All he needs is one leg to crush the old bastard. He won’t shed a tear for his loss instead Chuuya emits a red, ominous aura as he grabs Trevor’s forearm. “ Shit talking to a stranger especially who can manipulate gravity is fucking stupid, You’re made of lose and fail.” He was about to deliver the smack down when a blur of green sped up to them. Knocking Trevor off him.

Terra stood there ready to fight Trevor to protect the redhead. She staggers over to the older man building her fire magic in her hand. “ Chuuya stand back I’ll handle this..” she sighs, ready to pounce on the older man.

Things escalated quickly. Trevor grabbed Chuuya by the shirt and theatened him. When this happened,Rengoku ran to the older man. "Put young Chuuya down immediately." He warned. Looking at Trevor,Kyojuro coudn't help but be reminded of his fellow Hashira Sanemi Shinazegawa who acts with the same behavior and temper as this man.
"Threatening this boy will get no nowhere."
Fortunatly,Kyojuro didn't to do anything as Terra knocked Chuuys off of Trevor.

Zenitsu watched from the sidelines. Even the green haired girl with the odd sounds,Terra freed Chuuya from Trevor's grasp and now stood ready to defend the boy.. Zenitsu was abit conflicted first. Though this man,Trevor, despite being human was just as worst as the worst of demons.

Zenitsu's facial expresion changed. He steps forward and stood in front of Chuuya as well. "You might still be human..." he said to Trevor. "But you're just as cruel as Muzan Kibutsuji and his Kizuki demons!" Zenitsu glares toward the man.

Kyojuro grabbed Zenitsu and moves out of the way. "Aniki, what are you doing?" Zenitsu asked.

"I'm sorry. I apprechaite your willingness to protect the innocent but I cannot let you get in harms's way." the flame hashira replied.

With Claire’s introduction, the rest of the group would begin giving out their own names. Chuuya, Shirabe, and even Zaeed joined in. However, rather than follow the trend the balding man thought it’d be funny to instead use the oldest joke in the book.

“Yeah, hilarious.” Edward joined Claire in the collective eye roll.

Poor excuse for comedy aside, Edward was a little surprised when Claire mentioned his observations, having not realized she or the others were already close enough to listen in. Huh, maybe he should work on his situational awareness. Edward shook his head, pushing that thought aside. At least his hypothesis wasn’t off the mark.

However, when Chuuya sought to expand on that idea, his attempt at a reasonable explanation actually made Edward chuckle.

“Really? ‘Supernatural forces?’ I know the situation we’re in is pretty confusing but assuming it’s all some magic jumbo isn’t going to get us anywhere. If we take the time to really analyze our situation I’m sure there’s going to be a reasonable explanation for what’s going on. At least, more reasonable than that”

Edward didn’t mean to come off so dismissive but the scientist in him simply wouldn’t forgive himself if he just jumped the shark and believed ghosts and ghouls, or whatever else Chuuya was implying, were all behind this. Yet for all he vocally rejected that thought, Edward remembered that initial sensation that’d reminded him so much of The Gate that it’d sent him into an actual panic. Was it some kind of shell shock?…No, there was that aching suspicion in his gut. It had to have been something, but what? Was the Thule Society back? That rather worrying thought in mind, Edward tried to refocus.

“…although you could be right about the entire psychological aspect to all of this. I mean the wallpaper, the lights, It almost feels like this entire place was hand built to drive people crazy. But what I don’t get, if that actually was the case, is why…it’d be a huge waste of time and energy to construct an entire facility for that one reason, but besides that I have zero idea what this place could even have been built for…”

As Edward mulled that over, he finally got a little more detail about just what organization the two blondes were a part of.

“Demon Slayer Corps? Huh, pretty badass name you guys got there. Unfortunately it doesn’t ring a bell”

He could only hope it wasn’t something that was supposed to be common knowledge in this world.

The shorter boy, Zenitsu, then came up to Edward and began to apologize for what he’d said. Edward would have preferred forgetting that dumb comment and simply focusing on the bigger things at hand, but he supposed he did appreciate the kid learning from his mistake.

“It’s fine, no harm done. Just try not to do it again, okay?” With a sigh, Ed shrugged and waved the boy off.

A certain Colonel Bastard could learn a thing or two.

But speaking of harm…

Hey!”

Mister ‘Ben Dover’ was awfully intent on causing some to the other members of the group. Edward was just about to break it up between him and Chuuya when-

A red aura enveloped the red-haired boy. An aura that immediately brought to mind the crackling energy produced by Homunculi.

Edward froze dead in his tracks, eyes wide as his brain was trying to figure out just what the hell he was looking at.

This…this wasn’t just a trick of the eye right? Or a silly magic trick done by a children’s magician? Edward glanced around, scanning for any mirrors, strings, or fancy lights. This had to be just some parlour trick made to fool people. As someone who’d seen plenty from this world’s self proclaimed ‘alchemists’ Edward was quite privy to how the eye could be fooled in such a manner. Yes, maybe it was also apart of the psychological horror of this place, specifically formulated just to screw with him. He waited the fake out, the big ‘surprise! we got you!’ That’d cue for him to laugh off this silly prank and forget all about it.

Because this couldn’t- that couldn’t be-

“…did I really go through it?“ Edward’s voice was but a horrified whisper.

The green haired girl’s use of flame alchemy only confirmed it.

Edward had once more traveled through the gate. He didn’t know if this was Amestris or whatever the hell else, but the fact alone that he’d managed to slip through the gate despite his and Alphonse’s efforts to close it for good-

He wasn’t sure if he wanted to fall to his knees in horror or to break out in manic laughter, so he simply leaned against the wall, trying to force himself together.

Alphonse and Noah, were they still in Germany? How did that girl know flame alchemy or was it even that to begin with? No, no, it couldn’t be. The way the fire remained in her palm. If this was in Amestris then her hand would have been burnt to bone and ash. And what that guy said, change the gravity…?

“D-damnit, What the hell is going on here?”

Shirabe said nothing more after the introductions were made. Only placing her hands behind her back as each introduction was made in a variety of ways. Also a bit more infighting. Of which she ignored. This wasn't her world and it seemed similar to Chris-senpai's antics. Besides, she had limited resources. At least now there were names for the faces here. It looked like others also thought this was some underground complex. Rather than add anything of her own, the quiet girl simply listened. As she listened she continued to take in the surroundings.

It was so bland...
But also unnerving.

Someone here mentioned Demon Slayer which sent her stare in his direction.

Shirabe knew demons from Kirika's stash of horror movies, but surely didn't think them real. the closest thing to a demon she had ever seen was Adam Weishaupt's true form. The man was definitely dressed like a warrior from a fantasy world. Again, it was as if someone tossed a bunch of people from completely different worlds into some dingy basement. Regardless, supernatural forces were mentioned and that meant supernatural threats.

Then the girl, who just so happened to never give her name, did something that made Shirabe's eyes widen.

"...an alchemist?"

If alchemists were here then Alca-Noise wouldn't be too far behind...

The only good alchemist, who was still living, that Shirabe knew was Elfnien. So, naturally she became wary of this person.

"Dr. Akefu"

"If I may interject," the older man by Tōru stepped forward away from the younger man's reach, supporting himself with his cane. "I am Dr. Satoru Akefu, and this is an intern at the hospital I preside over, Tōru. While I may be older and specialize in chemical medication, inference does come naturally when you're my age."

Tōru blinked. The Head Doctor swallowed loudly.

"Judging from the way you all are dressed, and the frankly egregious way guns and such are being thrown around like penny sweets, it's fair to assume most of us aren't familiar with the others. But even from the extranormal circumstances I'm sure we all experienced when reaching this place, and the unfamiliar abilities of those of you have displayed them, I would like to posit a theory."

The older man grabbed the top of his cane, squeezing the end through his gloves.

"We have entered some space where, somehow, separate regions of time or space have converged. It may seem outlandish, but that is why a theory must be tested. If you would allow, I would like those willing to tell us where you just were, and any rather large events that have recently occurred. My good friend here will go first."

The Head Doctor motioned behind him. Tōru, seemingly unprepared flustered to a perfect degree, paused to think.

"Well, we're from Morioh, by S City in Japan. It's around May I'm pretty sure, 2011. Uh, big events... there was that big earthquake a few months ago that rocked most of the eastern harbor."

The Head Doctor nodded. "Now, if we follow this pattern, I'm certain very few of us can corroborate each other."

"Why most certainly." Kyojuro replied to the elderly Doctor, who adked each and everyone of them to explain where they were prior to entering this strange new world. The Doctor's younger companion,Toru, explained that they were also from Japan but in a city by the nsme of Morioh, year 2011.
That's at least 90 years in the future. And the city's name didn't ring a bell to either him or Zenitsu.
"Young Agatsuma and I come from Japan as well, but the year of our era is 1921,still in the Taisho era." Kyojuro explained.
"I was on a mission along with Agatsuma and his friends, Yiung Kamafo and the boar masked kid."
"Their names are Tanjiro Kamado and Inosuke Hashibira!" Zenitsu corrected.
"Yes,that was their names. We fought a lower rank demon who put every passangers to sleep. Kamado and Hashibira managed to defeat the demon, but it caused the teain to crash. Another demon, this one an Upper rank, showed up and attacked us...then I ended up here."

"I remember that...though when I was sent here, well, months had passed since the Mugen train inccident." Zenitsu explained."We were training with the remaining Hashira to fight against Muzan Kibutsuji but he showed up and the entire Corps found themselves in a Pocket dimension just like this one...The Infinity castle looked like this world. The only difference was that the artitecture was japanese and seemed bottomless. Then I ended up in this new world, similar to the Infinity castlr, but different."
"You went through alot Young Agatsuma!" said Rengoku.

"Chemical medication."

Shirabe didn't have the best history with doctors so she couldn't help but frown slightly at the strange old man.

The elder of the newest duo started using terms like time space, and then requested everyone to state not just where they were from, but when. This was followed by the usual foreign concepts that were quickly becoming the norm today.

The SONG member was now really missing the others. Terms and concepts like these were the kind of things that got thrown around on the bridge at HQ. Shirabe could almost hear Kirika's sudden interjection that would end up completely wrong. Admittingly, Shirabe herself couldn't grasp everything that was discussed in those briefings either.

Now it was just her and these people. Whoever they were.

1921? Lesser demons? Infinity Castle? Shirabe knew the Kazanari's went pretty far back, she couldn't help but wonder if Finé existed in these other world's pasts as well. That had been the case before on occasion. Living that long ago...

It must have been very inconvenient.

Of course, giving herself away as a Symphogear wielder that worked for the U.N. to combat global supernatural threats was against regulations. Unless the situation truly spiraled out of control, Shirabe would follow the protocol. Sooner or later, SONG would find out she went missing and start an investigation. She just needed to handle things until then.

Claire wrinkled her nose at the creepy eyes on the wall. The entire spread of graffiti was bad enough, but that disturbing doodle took the cake. "I'll pass on staying here longer than I have to..." she said to the others before motioning with her eyes to Zaeed and Chuuya. "... And I think someone else would agree." The man was still getting harassed by 'Ben', who sounded more like he was having an episode of some mental disorder by implying he knew Zaeed.

With many of these people pledging to cooperate, Claire couldn't help smiling softly. She stepped closer to the drawings on the walls, scanning them for further clues. One of the Demon Slayers made a keen observation: that the drawings could be a warning. It prompted the witch (at least, that's what Claire thought she was) to ask a good question: "A warning, from what?"

"And about what?" Claire contributed. "We can't rule out that it's just the scribblings of a crazy person, but I dunno... I also felt like I was being watched earlier."

SirPrompto15 SirPrompto15 Kaiju Cat Kaiju Cat

With the doctor speaking up, Claire cocked an eyebrow. She couldn't refute his point; these eccentric characters looked straight from another time. What set them apart from some sweaty convention-goers was the very real weapons they carried. She chose to humor the doctor: "It's 1998 for me. I'm an American college student, and..." She sighed, realizing what she was about to say aloud. "I... survived a deadly viral outbreak in Raccoon City." She could still hardly believe it herself.

Though it’s not their battle it’s clear that Ben is experiencing some form of psychosis; he's not a mental health expert that can’t be a good thing, evident by the green haired girl getting ready to throw hands. The fire she emits in her hand is reminiscent of an ability user back in his universe; she just might be a witch though. They’re discussing theories of space, speaking of those doodles and trying to help each other. He’s unable to shake off the uneasy feeling creeping up. It didn't help Arahabaki is talking to him sensing his need to shed Ben’s blood.

Chuuya, release me, let me kill him, I want to taste his blood, tearing the moron limb from limb is a small price to pay for his stupidity…

Ignoring Arahabaki’s voice, his head seemed to be cloaked in darkness; how Chuuya longed for the light. Knowing using corruption will kill him slowly as he can’t keep his mind. And, without Dazai’s nullifying ability he’s fucked. So, much for Edward dismissing his thoughts on the existence of supernatural powers. Which was proven correct evidently by the green haired witch and himself with his gravity. “ Warning from what? And about what?” He repeats under his breath, the doctor has a point. This must be some of time, space pocket mind fuck.

Now, he sighs pushing Arahabaki’s bloodlust deep into the crevices of his mind, his rage seemingly tamed for now but not for long. “ Eh, it’s 2013, the year I got here at least for my universe. Born and raised in Yokohama, Japan. I, the rest of my port mafia comrades, and the ADA banded together to stop a vampire virus from spreading on a global scale. Yeah, it would’ve been one of those apocalypse bull shit type of things.” He frowns, not willing to say too much. At least their boss Mori was ok, they saved their universe from a becoming a literal vampiric shit show. He was watching the old bastard now keeping his guard up.

"RUN."
.
.

As you discuss where you came from, and what to do next, The lights above you begin to flicker violently, buzzing louder than before. The air turns cold, prickling your skin as an overwhelming sense of dread creeps in. Then you hear it—footsteps, quick and heavy, echoing down the corridor. It’s not distant this time. Whatever’s coming is close, too close. Suddenly, it makes sense. Rengoku pointing out that message, that ONE PARTICULAR message on the wall: "DONT MOVE, STAY STILL." It was a warning, about what's to come.

A Guttural, warped cry echoed through the mono-yellow halls and to where you stand. The figure looked gnarly, displeasing to look at. Its whole form was black, twisted, lines that enveloped one another; Mangled and untrue it was indeed. It then noticed you, and started to charge towards you. ALL of you.

Freeze, Fight, Or Flight. If I were you, I'd choose the latter of flight.

An Alchemist.

Those two words were enough to pull Edward from his downward spiral. His head felt filled with cotton, but he’d eventually manage to compose himself enough to look up at the girl. Slowly, Edward shook his head.

“No…I don’t know what that is but there’s no way it’s alchemy”

His eyes trailed back to the green haired girl as the flames continued to dance within her hand. This was entirely nothing like how real flame alchemy worked. Based on how Mustang explained his alchemy worked, if you transmuted the oxygen around your hand, one could theoretically congregate the transmuted flame’s path to combust solely in the center of the palm, but the result would only be blowing one’s hand right off. Not to mention, that didn’t account for how the girl had no material to create the initial spark, nor the lack of any actual transmutation as far as Ed could tell. By all accounts, what she did completely disobeyed the rules of alchemy.

However, Edward certainly wouldn’t fault the average person familiar with the art for assuming otherwise.

The tension within the group continued to linger, even as the eldest member, Dr. Satoru Akefu addressed them. It’d certainly take Edward decent effort to willingly face away from the conflict, but what the elder said certainly was worth paying attention to.

He had a theory, based on the clothing and…unique items many of the individuals had on hand, that they weren’t all from the same time period, or even from the same worlds. It left a sour taste in Edward’s mouth, but based on his own experiences he couldn’t deny the doctor’s hypothesis. Most of the people here wore items that’d send the average European of his era into an actual coma, but more importantly those (On principle Edward was not going to call it magic)…abilities the green haired girl and Chuuya had or claimed to have, nothing like it was possible on either sides of The Gate.

Edward remembered the conversation he had with Fritz Lang, the discussion of parallel worlds and the implications of such an idea. At first, it was something Edward solely associated with the two sides of The Gate. His world and the other; two sides of the same coin. Yet, if all of this was true…then there was far more to it than just that.

As a means to confirm this, Doctor Akefu suggested they share what time period and location they came from, and soon enough everyone began to give a variety of dates and nations as their place of origin going so far as 122 years into the future!

When it came to his turn to share, Edward scratched the back of his head, an expression of contemplation apparent on his face. Eventually, he’d speak up.

“I’m from Germany, 1923. For big events, this year marks the 5th year anniversary to the end of the Great War, and pretty recently there was a failed attempted coup done by the Nazi Party”

Edward would have left it at that, but before he even knew it the boy began to elaborate.

“Or, ah- Well it’s kinda a long story but….I’m not originally from Germany. I’m from a place called Amestris. This isn’t exactly my first time traveling to another world”

With that last sentence, Edward found the corners of his lips curling to a slight smile. For once, Edward could say this without being viewed as a lunatic. His words held weight here, the simple mention of Amestris wasn’t going to be chalked up as mere story.

It felt…good?

Yeah, it felt good.

But there was still one thing egging in Edward’s mind that needed to be addressed. He shifted his attention to the black haired girl and began to make way over to her.

“Shirabe, was it? You mentioned something about alchemy and I was curious-“

The lights flickered, deep thundering steps able to be heard from some distance away. Some distance yes, but whatever they belonged to was quickly making its way towards the group. Edward went dead silent, holding a single finger up towards his lips directing the other to follow suit.

It was a long shot, but if they were quiet enough, maybe that thing wouldn’t know where they were. Any hope of that plan working out was dashed when a guttural roar broke through the silence. It was too late, whatever that thing was, it’d for sure already heard them and was coming their way.

Finally, it turned the corner and on the opposite end of the hall Edward caught sight of the beast. Gnarled and grotesque, the creature was an indecipherable mess of a being, if such a thing could even be considered alive for that matter. The spindly lines that constituted its body were an awful reminder of the thousands of arms that resided in the gate, however even those seemed far easier to comprehend than the beast.

For just a moment, the creature remained still, as humans and beast gazed between each other for what seemed to be an infinity.

Then, it charged.

Edward’s body moved on pure instinct as he stepped forward, hands held up as if in prayer. But his expression didn’t seem to be of a person begging for salvation from their god. His eyes were steeled in concentration, and under the thundering sound of the creature’s sprint one might have heard him hurriedly mumble under his breath.

“Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen are the elements in cellulose, glucuronoxylan is the hemicellulose compound, and other trace inorganics account for the composition of wood. Just push aside the nylon and polypropylene then-”

Edward suddenly clapped and slammed his hands onto the ground, the hallway spurring to life with blue crackling light and energy. From within the haze of flashing lights, something seemed to erupt from the ground near Edward’s gloved hands, rising towards the ceiling and sealing the hallway shut.

The blue light finally dimmed, and what was once the side of the hallway had now been completely sealed off by a thick wooden wall. The floor beside Edward was left a total mess, carpet torn to shreds and the actual ground having seemed to sink around him, small rectangular marks etched onto the bottom of the floor and wall.

Not a moment to spare, Edward didn’t even turn to look at structure as he whipped his body around and quickly began sprinting his way back towards the group

“I have no idea if this can actually stand up to whatever the hell that thing is, but it should slow it down! Now unless you guys have any other plans, RUN!”

"Huh...?" The lights flickered and the room turned cold. Something was wrong. Claire turned pale as she heard the footsteps and roar. Turning to look, she gasped at the figure approaching. "Oh, God..." Reflexively, her hand clutched her pistol.

It charged. She fired.

A wall suddenly jutted up between it and them, as if by some magic. Edward had demolished sections of the floors around himself in doing so, making a patch of rough terrain for it to traverse. Now, it was her turn to think fast.

"Here!" Claire suggested, pointing to the route opposite the encroaching monster. Her feet carried her as far as the doorway, but she wasn't about to just leave people for dead. "I don't wanna find out how fast it can break through."

Then a dark creature appear making a warped cry.
"What is that creature?!" Zenitsu cried.
Rengoku brought out his nichirin katana and stepped in front of the group.
"I will handle this..."
He focused.

"Flame breathing...first form...Unknowing fire!"
Rengoku charged toward the piece, attempting to slash it.
Only to stop before arriving near a wooden wall of Edward's creation.
"We own you one Ed-sama!" Zenitsu said to Edward.
He then dashed to Rengoku's side. "Aniki,we need to run, now! We might not be able to defeat this creature.
The flame Hashira nodded to the younger Demon Slayer. "A wise decision. "
"Let's go before it breaks through!" Zenitsu shouts. Rengoku and Zenitsu ran off. They both followed Claire's advice and ran toward the route opposite the monster.

Tōru nodded with the "Head Doctor" as his hypothesis evolved from simple theory to almost undeniable truth. In hindsight it still seemed pretty obvious, but in a mystery box scenario like this it was important everyone had, or at least everyone believed, they all had the same information. After all, there was still doubt on whether or not one of these other-worlders was responsible for this unexpected meeting; none of their realms sounded familiar save for Japan, but even then, the time periods were all wildly different. Tōru recalled the thought of time travel and paradoxes, but it was unlikely that any of them were close enough for that to matter.

In the middle of introductions, though, Tōru noticed something, like a wave, pass through the room. The graffiti had been mentioned only a few times despite how ominous a warning it gave, so Tōru had ignored it for the bigger mystery. But the others with skin that could get goosebumps seemed to stall, and the temperature of the room, however subtle, shifted.

All at once, action presented itself. A beast of tangled wires or vines, or something else dark and mangled, appeared at the far end of one of the manilla hallways. It staggered into view before the group quieted down. There was a connection made; Tōru felt like it was communal eye contact despite the creature lacking any clear eyes. Then, the roaring boomed through the empty rooms, and it began to encroach.

Several others immediately began to react, but Tōru hoped he seemed worried enough as it was. His and the "Head Doctor's" head turned in unison, knowing full well that as the beast approached with any negative motive, the flow of Calamity already streamed towards it. Bad luck, some would say. Once, a nurse had compared it to that movie, Final Destination, before accidentally getting pushed through a fern and getting paralyzed. It was the feeling of karma specifically towards individuals that pursued Tōru, getting in their way, making small injures or accidents incredibly more dangerous.

Before he could really plan out anything else, the blonde young man next to him with the blonde hair completed some sort of hand signal, and grafted a wall between the group and whatever had come after them. Was that part of the Calamity, the flow that made bad things happen? Tōru could never tell, and he could never control it beyond flipping it on and off.

Those who tried to fight backed off, and Tōru did the same. A few began running in the opposite direction;
he worried whether or not the Head Doctor would be able to run as quickly without breaking the facade, so he looped his arm through the other, and "dragged" him alongside as they sprinted with the rest of the group.

"There's no way that's alchemy."

Not alchemy? Wasn't it magic?

Edward would go on and talk about what could be summed up as pre World War II history. Then he brought up traveling to other worlds and that he had done so before! Out of everyone here, it seemed that their two worlds were the most similar, perhaps even the same but from different periods.

It was pretty alarming that some sort of virus was mentioned by multiple people as well. Shirabe hoped they weren't carrying anything on them....

“Shirabe, was it? You mentioned something about alchemy and I was curious-“

"IHm?"

Her eyes shot to the side and her head followed suit. Whipping quickly around as she finally caught sight of "The Stalker" at last.

Unfortunately it also saw them and was making a beeline!

Shirabe was stunned for a moment, it was truly a horrific sight. It's pitch black form and twisted presence. If this had been the very first time she had seen a deformed monster, perhaps she would have run immediately but no. This was...

"Karma Noise?"

It did have some similarities but this was certainly more disturbing. If it was Noise and anyone here even let it touch them they would immediately turn to dust!

She took several steps back and her hand reached for the LINKER...

A bullet from Claire, blazing sword from Rengoku.

A swift motion of the gun like injector towards her own neck.

Edward created a barrier out of the walls!

Shirabe stayed frozen, a drop of sweat running down her face as her teeth gritted from behind a closed mouth. These people were able to use abilities without limitation while she would be useless once this LINKER wore off. If they had stopped the Noise, maybe she could avoid using it for now. Then a realization came...

"DON'T MOVE"

All that infighting before...

"It responds to movement. ..don't run. Wait. It might just leave."

Shirabe would stay put with her LINKER at her neck. If it broke through and kept moving she would use it, if not... then she was right. If others didn't trust then she probably would look like a silly kid, and maybe she was?

The sudden flicker of lights met with the roar of the monster, its grotesquely twisted visage heightens Chuuya’s desire to fight rather than run. Nodding in approval as Edward made a barrier with something called alchemy, though it felt more like an ability to him, it helps slow the ugly fuck down, at least he hopes so. He wordlessly follows after the rest of them pausing near Shirabe; she may be making a keen observation over noise drawing its attention. Chuuya wonders if the barrier can stay fortified long enough, his eyes went to Shirabe’s countenance then stood by her. Two are better than one he thinks, and he wants to put his gravity to use.

He turned in the direction of the wooden barrier; how Edward’s alchemy changed the structure of the back room, perhaps waiting may make it go away and lose sight of them. Maybe its movement is based on visual acuity. If all else fails he’ll protect Shirabe as he has his gravity. Don’t move just like the weird message maybe that’s what makes the fucker go away, he narrows his eyes.
