The pristine white snow falls, the Christmas trees sparkle with decorations, and an air of cheer surrounds Hogwarts during this merry winter break! For the children who didn't get to go home though, it is simply a time of loneliness. Students and teachers alike wander the halls of Hogwarts, none with a particular goal in mind.
Little does anyone know, there is an evil in Hogwarts. An evil that has returned once more, actually. A fellow student, bent on revenge and the destruction of the school and all its inhabitants. Will you find out who it is in time? Will you be able to stop them?

I'm really sorry, I know that's a sucky description. Basically, it's winter break at Hogwarts and you didn't go home. This is set a bit further into the future. Picture Harry and Ginny as grandparents, and their kids as parents. So no canon characters are left! Yay!
All the teachers will be NPCs, so your character will be a student of any year. Thanks to @Boondox I was able to put together a plot! It was their idea entirely, I only thank you for letting me use it.
I'm making it to where the dorms were combined into one massive room. All the children, no matter what year or gender, sleep in one huge room.
There is a huge common room, only slightly smaller than the dining hall. This is where every single student will mingle and hang out. The living quarters are simple. There are two staircases going down. Those lead to the Slytherin and Ravenclaw quarters. Slytherin to the right, Ravenclaw to the left. There are two more going up, which lead to Hufflepuff and Gryffindor's quarters. Hufflepuff on the left, Gryffindor on the right.
Of course it's not something Hogwarts would ever do, but in order to create friendships, relationships and drama, the living quarters are for both genders. It goes in a boy/girl system.
Boy, girl, boy, girl, etc.
Rules:
1.) Go GM, OP characters or Mary/Gary Sues. Just no.
2.) I's prefer 3rd person roleplaying, but 1st person is ok if you really want to.
3.) Have fun! Contribute! This is all of our RP! If you have any ideas that you think will make it better, don't be afraid to discuss it with me and everyone else in OOC or PM!
4.) Fade to black if you get caught up in sexual scenes. It's just weird to read that as a bystander...
5.) Multiple characters are allowed! As many as you can handle, just try not to burden yourself with characters you aren't going to pay attention to.
6.) Just follow the basic rules of every other RP..I can't think of any more.
