The city of Dunwall has been afflicted with a plague that has killed thousands of its inhabitants. The disease is thought to be rodent-born, and can be transferred through the air. While measures are being taken to help protect and cure the city, no progress on an effective cure has been made. Empress Jessamine Kaldwin, the ruler of Dunwall, has sent Lord Protector Corvo Attano and his apprentices to request aid from various cities throughout the region. After returning to the Empress and reporting that no help could be found, the Empress is assassinated by a group of assassins known as the Whalers. Their leader, a man named Daud, takes the Empress' daughter and disappears with her. The apprentices are framed for the crime and imprisoned by their former allies. After months of rotting in prison, they are broken out by an unknown party and told to meet a man named 'Samuel' outside of the prison in which they are being held. With the help of those around them, a group of heroes are tasked with eliminating the newly established leaders, saving the young Emily Kaldwin, and eventually saving Dunwall.
Rules:
1. The story of Dishonored will be altered in various ways; keep that in mind.
2. No characters that aren't on the side of the Emily and the Loyalists.
3. Cursing and violence will happen and is totally okay.
4. 1 paragraph minimum per post. I understand writer's block and will excuse it once in a blue moon, but constant short posts will get you kicked.
5. You must post at least every other day. PM me if you are going to be gone for an extended period of time.
6. Killing other characters is strictly prohibited unless you clear it with me and the other player first.
7. No godmodding. Strong characters are fine and make sense, but invincible ones are unacceptable.
8. Romance is fine, but fade to black if you need to.
9. You can create new Outsider powers and abilities. Get creative, but don't make them overpowered.
11. If you want something to happen in the story ask me first, I'm open to ideas.
12. I will answer any questions you have in the OOC tab.
13. 5 people excluding me will be able to join the RP.
