xxxxxxxxxxHello you creative role-play aficionado you, my name's Thorne. [ But I'll also go by Thor, Thornie, etc. ] Now, first things first, if you're wondering what's with the little collage I've assembled up above, just know that's it's a habit of mine, when it comes to coding and such, to make things look as great as they can be. I've tried to stop, but, it's just so pleasing to the eye, no? But please don't feel that means you have to do the same.

On the other hand, yes, I am here looking for a few one on ones, and not just to blabber on to you about random things.

xxxxxxxxxxSo, onward to more important things. Let me tell you a bit about me-- I'm a very experienced role-player, having been doing it for at least five years, and can be quite literate if I become very passionate and attached to a role-play. On a bad day, the least you'll get from me is a paragraph. And by that I mean something that'll seem more like two paragraphs squished together and filled with tidbits of fluff and 'what-are-you-even-talking-about-thorne.' But, like I said, those are bad days. Usually, I'll try to post about once a day, but know I may not have time to every day. But, I'll try, because I don't want you getting lonely.


xxxxxxxxxxUsually, I prefer to play females. Now, don't get me wrong; you won't get a "I'm bad at playing males," out of me. In fact, I can play them fine, it's just not my day-to-day muse. I will double up though if it fits the plot or role-play at hand. Other than that, I don't really do f/f or m/m role-plays.

{ warning; I do really use non-realistic pictures for characters, and I tend to come up with wild ideas, but who doesn't like those types of ideas? }

xxxxxxxxxxI'm not really picky about who I role-play with, honestly, as long as they contribute ideas to the role-play and won't sneak away when I try, and maybe fail, to start a friendly conversation. I can't be that intimidating-- I mean, I can even think of a nice nickname for you.


xxxxxxxxxxKnow though that I won't do one liners; if I must put something here about requirements I do hope to see at least one or two paragraphs from you in a role-play. Quality over quantity though, if you must. And at least post every two or three days!

  • The story of a Qilin and a Sage/Illustrious Ruler;
    
    Now you may ask, what is a Qilin? It is a mythical creature said to appear with the imminent arrival or passing of a sage or illustrious ruler. If you looked it up, you'd get a picture of an animal with dragon-like features, an equine-like body, and antlers. Pretty interesting, I know--so anyways, here's the idea. Let's say for this role-play, a Qilin taking on the appearance of a human finds himself/herself continuously appearing and re-appearing due to a sage repeatedly finding herself on the verge of death. [ Perhaps due to a heart condition, cancer, etc. ] And wherever that goes would be up to us.
    
    Just a side note, but for this certain plot, I already have a character I could use for the human, but I'd also love to try playing the Qilin if you'd prefer the human.
    
  
  
  
  
  
  • The story of Two Deities, One Old & One New;
    
    

    The shrines of two gods are crumbling. Since their lives and purposes are tied indefinitely to the shrines that were built in their honour, they have very little time before both of them fade away completely. The two meet seemingly by chance and form an unlikely friendship; together, they help each other overcome the demons of their pasts and the burdens that have been placed on their shoulders. In the midst of it all, they will have to come to grips with the fact that in year's time, both of them will be gone forever.

    
    By deities, I'm guiding towards more Japanese based deities, one old and one new set in the modern day world. And, just for the drama, two that reign over very similar but completely different things. Like, for example, the Deity of Thunder and the Deity of Lost/Stolen Technology; just something absolutely fascinating of the sort. This could even go in a completely different direction-- like a story between perhaps the Reaper of Death and The Deity of Luck, both good and bad, or any other ideas you have to add to it.
    
  
  
  
  
  
  • A Human Virus
    
    I'm pretty sure everyone knows what a virus is--nasty little programs that slip onto your technology. But for this idea, set in a more modern, futuristic setting, there is instead a virus that affects humans. [ No, not a natural sickness; a coded program that evolved into a more serious problem. ] There's still a lot of details that would need to be worked out for this one, but why not give it a try?
    
    To make it even more interesting, perhaps it could be the story of someone created from the virus, and someone immune to it?
    
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • The Story of Two [ Or more ] Mages
    
    Pretty self explanatory; they could be friends, rivals, or complete strangers thrown into a situation with one another. [ They could even be all three; once friends, then rivals, and now suddenly faced with the task of cooperating. ] I'd prefer for it to be set more into the past though, rather than have it set in a modern time.
