Carmelo is curious, energetic and enthusiastic individual, who want to initiate and make things happen rather than being mere spectators. He needs for excitement push him into new territories and makes him extremely action-oriented. This is a fairly common trait as far as the Carmelo is concerned. Not the ones to shy away from taking risks, Carmelo at times push their luck just for that adrenalin rush. When the going gets tough, Carmelo get going! No matter how difficult the situation may be, an Carmelo will take the challenge head on! Since he always look for excitement and adventurous, he is often the one who'd try out newer things in life. You may also call them Jack of many trades! You will never find an Carmelo low on energy levels. So, when Carmelo is around others, they will definitely feel the whole environment in the room lightening up. The positive energy that he possess and spread around not only gives him a psychological advantage over others, but also makes them quite a popular lot in their social circles. If he is interested in something, be it a relationship or a project, he will be passionately into it and be an inspiration for others. The fiery Carmelo has fixed opinions and he will not budge for anything in the world. Stubbornness makes him very difficult people to deal with! He is both impulsive and impatient, and hence many a times the he will not consider minute aspect of the matters and think through the situations to arrive at a decision. He's enthusiastic and active, but their energies are, more often than not, scattered in different directions. He need to harness his energy levels and be disciplined in order to succeed in life. Carmelo will not think twice before being confrontational and asking questions that may potentially harm the relationship. Learning a lesson or two on human relations may be helpful.

Looks: Standing at 6 feet, 1 inch, and weighing in at 180 lbs. He was well built, not bulky but he still was strong and had toned and defined muscles. Naturally full, jet black hair that is normally short and styled in a rugged look but when wet will hang down in his eyes slightly. Along his sharp jaw line he continues his rugged style with scruffy stubble. Icy, light blue eyes hide behind black framed 'hipster' glasses. His skin is well tanned, outside a lot for work. Hidden under his clothes he has a number of tattoos.


Bio: Derek was a pretty troubled kid, anger issues, lots of fights, always sneaking out and disobeying his parents. He kept mostly to himself and skipped school quite a bit. After he found out that he was a bender his parents were more than excited. It meant that he would have to wear a uniform and stay in a dorm and follow strict rules. He thought it was pretty cool that he was able to control elements, but he didn't want to have to go to school for it so he was less than happy about it. Although Derek had a rough exterior, he could be a very caring friend. Get close to him and he would do anything to protect his friends. And he was a nice guy, he just liked alone time to think and not have to socialize for awhile, which made him seem unapproachable.
