Plot
The rumors of a group focused on dark magic and blood purity have been circulating for years at Hogwarts. Starting in 1975 a divided front became clear. Secrets, lies, and plans were made and no one was entirely safe from the calamity sure to grace them in the coming years. Who is safe and who will stab you in the back? It's the moment of truth and the moment to lie.

There are 5 main groups you can be within this RP
Death Eater (up to 10 characters): A Servant to The Dark Lord. Your reasons for joining are few and far between. Whether you believe in blood purity, are from a family of high standing associated with the movement, or simply want something to prove, your outreach looks bleak. Be careful, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Loyalty is your greatest friend but can also be your undoing.
The Order of The Phoenix/The Resistance (up to 10 characters): You learned what was happening early on. The death and carnage that were to follow in the coming years were already told to you before concern took hold. Trust and Truth coenside together but not in this lifetime. Your friends could easily be your enemies. Your truths can be used to harm others. Keep your heart on your sleeve and keep your eyes open.
Civilian/Neutral Party (unlimited): You had heard the rumors but were unconcerned. The topics pushing this movement have existed for centuries why would it be a cause of violence now? You want to finish your education and live the best of your life. It won't affect you so why will you let it? Ignorance is a blessing and a curse. Choose your battles wisely, it won't always be smoke and mirrors.
Spy (up to 4 characters, 2 per side): You're doing what you believe is right but it won't make you any less of target. Your friends believe you with them and your enemies believe you are against them. You originally weren't a spy, but had your doubts. What made the other side tick? You were fascinated by the question. You were allowed to become a spy but now at what cost? Your morality, your loyalty, your relationships? Tread carefully it's now you against the world. History has its eyes on you.
Traitor (2 characters, 1 per side. could also be paired with spy role): You knew your role in the movement was a mistake since the very first moment. What are these people thinking? believing that loyalties took priority over survival. You are willing to do whatever it takes to survive. You might be seen as a coward, a traitor, or even a villain but what does it matter to you? Bridges will burn but you will survive another day, we swift, be calculating, be scared.
