Fire, Earth. Wind, Shadow. All powerful. All useful. Who are we? We are the Elemental Wolves. We rule the land we live on. Sometimes in harmony, more often than not, in war. Our differences make it hard to work together. We are all so different. Unique. Who are you in this world ruled by wolves? Are you a hot blooded fire wolf? Or a calm wind wolf? The choice is up to you in who are in this beautiful land.

One thing that will affect us all is a troubling arrival of a new wolf species - the winged wolves. They threaten to take over our lands, but not through a huge overtaking. Slowly, they have come into our lands, eating our game, and riling the packs. They plan to pin us against each other, put us on self-destruct. Will they win? Will they take over our home?

MAPS:

The land of the Elemental Wolves is vast and great, and best of all, uninhabited by humans. It was decided by the first great wolves who came to this land, that it would be split up evenly between the four males and their mates to start packs. The oldest of the males, Kindle, founded his pack in the dry desert. In the desert, Kindle could use his ability of fire and light extraordinarily well, and so he named his land Ignemium. The youngest of the four, Tero, took his steps toward the lush forest of the land, where rivers flowed and trees were in abundance. In his new home, Tero could use his powers of earth and water more powerfully than ever before, so he named his land, Teres. The next wolf to choose was Van, who found the windy plains as a place to call home. The wind fell over the plains easily, and Van could use his powers of healing and weather with extreme success, so he named his new home Ventus. Finally, the runt was given a piece of land, rather than choosing it for himself. He grew malice, but used his new caves to his advantage, strengthening his powers of darkness and magic. He called his shadowy territory Umbra.

  • The desert of Ignemium:

    cUIAC4H.jpg

    The wolves of Ignemium reside in the nooks and crannies of the various land formations. A small land formation is held to one wolf- the only wolf that has their own- the alpha. The alpha formation is held sacred, and pack members are not allowed to touch a paw within the den without selected permission from the alpha them self. Food is kept under cover within the largest formation, in a large heap. The healer's den is also within the largest formation, where the large rock has been indented greatly. The den is cave-like, but extremely homey.

I walk out from my cave, my head high, and my wise eyes taking in the desert scenery. Not many wolves are awake yet. It is just brimming dawn. My red paws scrape the dusty ground beneath me. It hadn't flooded in quite awhile....if this continued, we would have to ask the Teres wolves for help. I don't want to do that, not after we just broke connection with them. It was a bold, and quite a risky move, but as alpha, I made it. In the long run, it would be beneficial on our part. Teres needed our yearly fires to make sure their lands were balanced, but they had said things that could ruin Ignemium's reputation....I couldn't have for that. The large yellow sun finally breaches the horizon, and I lift my maw in a howl. It was time to hunt.

ASH

My paws flick the ground, and a whine reaches my throat as I run from the Demon. It was the demon inside of me. He had come out to kill me. My life was in danger. I had to get away, but it seems my strides only get smaller, and his only get bigger. I can feel his hot breath on my rump. I look back to see his red eyes and dark, black coat, but I stumble, falling forward onto my shoulder. I roll over, leaving my belly exposed. I feel his saliva dripping onto my back paw...and then he pulses forward. I close my eyes tightly, awaiting death, but nothing comes. I open my eyes, expecting to see his large maw at my throat, but I see only the forest. It was a dream...

PANDORA

My bright purple eyes shine brightly in my dull, dark den. From the outside, I'm told, my eyes only look like purple orbs, floating in the abyss of nothingness that I loved. I craved my seclusion. It was my escape from the world outside. Nobody likes "Pandora the witch", but I'm fine with that. It was what I had created. Not only did they not like me, they feared me. Fear is what controls the wolves around me. Fear is what makes me alpha. Fear is the only good thing left in the desolate world I call home. I just stay in my cave, where I cannot be bothered by boisterous pups or curious adults. My brew turns green with the next berry I put in it. The concoction bubbles fiercely, threatening to boil over, but it won't. I have the heat maintained so that it does not. I never lose control of my experiments....

PERSEPHONE

The gentle snores of the other dogs in the territory keep me alert as I watch over the plain we call home. The wind travels easily, and oft I have used it to carry my howl across the large expanse. I strut nonchalantly as I weave my way between sleeping wolves. When every other wolf is napping, I am vigilant for intruders. I look up to the sky, and I see a great eagle, soaring on the wind that we call our own. As I look up from a brown colored wolf, I see the food pile. My stomach growls

hungrily

, but I know better than to eat when it is not time. We may be the most peaceful of the packs, but that was only because wolves followed the rules. The rules were put in place for a reason. The food pile rule being so that we do not run out of food. It looks so good, but I turn away.

ALEXANDER

My wings beat in the sky fiercely, but I am tiring. I sigh, not wanting to end my morning flight, but if I continue much longer, I'll fall out of the sky from exhaustion. I tilt my wings and give one last stroke before closing them tightly to my sides. My feet tuck up tightly to my body, and I drop like a stone from the sky. I stretch my neck out, enjoying the feeling of the wind crawling into my mane, but all to soon I have to open my wings again to land. Like a parachute, they carry me to the ground softly, and I land with a solid thud into the camp. I look to the sleeping wolves, and remember my own mate and pups at home. I couldn't wait to see them...

I was awake and walking around looking at the others. I tried to predict possible medical issues before they come visit me. I saw that Ash was awake and stopped near her and sat down. "Are you alright?" I asked since she was up and thus my work would be easier. I liked thinking of Ash as a trustworthy person and she was.

Tania

I was awake and carefully crawling my way to the mouth of pandora's cave. I stayed as low and as submissive as possible not that I was even a threat but it was safety for me. "Are you awake can I get you anything?" I asked before rolling on my back out of submission to finish my display of powerlessness. "Please let me grab you something." I asked wanting to please her with more than my boldness.

Flamma

I gave a few yips in my sleep and started moving my legs slowly. However in my dreams I was chasing a male telling him that I was as good a mate as anybody. He didn't listen or even stop of course since it was my worst nightmare.

Ryadran - Ventus - Alpha Female

Rya had always made a special effort to be awake before her pack, and so had been awake since the crack of dawn. Sitting just outside her den, which she had dug upon settling in this area of the tundra, she looked out over the rest of her pack's dens. It was too cold in these parts for it to be practical sleeping out in the open air, so the Ventus wolves had grown used to the habit of digging their homes everytime the pack moved; which was an event not entirely rare. In the cold Northern planes, there was not often an excess of animals to hunt, and so the pack was forced to move within their territory to avoid wearing out all of the prey in that area and starving. As it was, the pack had recently moved, so the dens were all rather rough-and-tumble, but there was plenty of small prey around. There was an elk hunting ground further out, in which she occasionally led expeditions when the pack was more hungry. Glancing at the remains of the buck elk carcass laying in the middle of the dens, Rya realized that she would have to lead another hunting expedition soon, as there was scarcely any meat left on the once fat elk's bones. Seeing no other wolves appearing from their dens, Rya wondered when her pack was going to start waking.

Garruk - Umbra - Head Fighter

Having been consciously awake for awhile, Garruk made sure to conceal the fact by laying perfectly still, his only movement the steady rise and fall of his flanks. Hearing a voice sound from around Pandora's cave, the fighter opened one eyelid experimentally, locating Tania by the alpha's cave. Getting to his feet, he shook the cold off his thin coat and gathered his energy to blur himself into the still dark light, blending in perfectly with the shadows. Quietly stepping over his sleeping packmates, he resided outside his alpha's den, crouching there, invisible, in the shadows as he listened to the exchange. He noted that Tania seemed very eager to please or impress, and decided that he could potentially use that to his advantage later if he should need it. He noted sarcastically to himself that if Tania had asked Pandora if she was asleep and she was, she would have woken the alpha, and probably have suffered from it. His eyes glowed menacingly, as when Pandora ordered punishment, he was often the one who got to deal it. Pressing against the cold rock of Pandora's cave, he allowed his power to ease off gradually until he was visible quite suddenly; wondering if Tania would notice his unexplained appearance.

Anika - Winged Wolves - Scout

The sound of powerful wingbeats rouse Niki from her sleep, and the silver wolf blinked her eyes experimentally in the steadily brightening light. A heavy thud saw Niki raising her head to see Alexander land a little ways away, and she barked softly in a greeting. Clambering onto her feet, she proceeded to cautiously flex her wings, doing her best not to bump into one of the other sleeping wolves and awaken them. She had made the mistake before, and the immense annoyance that she had gained from the small gathered pack was one that she did not want to live through again. Unfurling her wings to their fullest, she stretched the rest of her body, a yawn rising on her lips. Keeping her extravagant wings up in the air, where they would be out of the way, she carefully picked her way out of the sleeping bodies of the small pack and once out shook the sleep off. Looking again at Alexander, she moved over to him tentatively. "What have you been up to?" She questioned easily, arching her back in a mildly cat-like manner and yawning slightly while she asked.

FIORA

I growl. Not even one wolf had lifted a paw.

"That's it...

" I mumble angrily. Quickly, I make my way to the first den, Flamma's. I poke my head in, and snarl.

"Get your tail end up!"

My lips curl up to show sharp teeth. I am not the most patient wolf, nor the wolf to make angry. My actions may seem harsh, but as the alpha, I had to be strong. If the pack thought of me as weak, I would lose my leadership. On top of that, I'd lose my pack. To be denounced from leadership is to be outcasted from the pack. That, or death, whichever came first. I refuse to die. I'm too stubborn to die. I watched my parents die because they were weak. I will not be weak. I cannot be weak. I must make the memory of my parents proud.

ASH

I'm fully wakened when another wolf's voice pierces my ears. I sigh heavily, and push myself from the ground with a snarl. The red anklet symbolizing my treacherous crime against wolves. Murder is not looked highly upon in the community. Perhaps, if I was an Umbra wolf, my crime would be looked over. They had a set of rules that confused even elders.

"I'm fine."

I snarl, sitting. That's when I realize that, a wolf is actually talking to me. It confuses me.

"Why are you even talking to me? Isn't it going to ruin you 'good healer' image?"

I roll my eyes, because there was truth in my statement. Many wolves thought that just by sitting next to an Omega, they would be ruined. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous!

PANDORA

I snarl at the sound of Tania's voice. My eyes turn toward the mouth of the cave, and I see a cowering wolf. I snarl again, rising from the back part of the cave and moving toward the cowered figure.

"Why?"

I whisper, "

why have you come? You think your

flattering

me by offering your service? You think you might gain rank by pampering the alpha?"

I ask sweetly, in a voice that sounded like candied syrup.

"Do you think that?"

I raise an eyebrow at the wolf, but I don't give her a chance to respond.

"Well you're wrong!"

I snarl, my purple eyes flashing even brighter.

"Get out."

I growl lowly, and I turn away from the fae. She was stupid, coming into my cave, if just the mouth of it. If she really wanted to flatter me, leaving food at my den's entrance would be the way to do it. "

Gurruk!

" I yell, knowing well of his presence.

"Come here."

PERSEPHONE

I continue my walk slowly, having been up all night, my strides were lazed. Our alpha comes from her cave, she looks over the plain slowly, taking in our roughly dug dens and little scenery. I decide to be cordial this lovely morning, and I sit by her. "

How are you?

" I ask softly, careful not to disturb the peace of the early morning. I had always loved the sweet sounds of birds overhead and the feeling out the short grass beneath my feet. There wasn't much our land had to offer, but peace was something it gave in great abounds. A sweet gust of wind blows softly, ruffling my long fur. I see why the great wolf chose the sweet plains, and I know why he named in Ventus. Wind.

ALEXANDER

My ears perk at Anika's voice. She was the the most energetic of the group, and usually the most annoying, but I liked her well enough. I would ask her to join me on my morning flights, but I enjoyed the quietness of the morning.

"Good morning, Anika."

I say softly,

"I was just enjoying a morning flight. What were you doing up this early? Or did I wake you?"

I add, with a hint of

sympathy. I didn't mean to wake her, and usually my lands were much softer, but a had flown farther today than I had in a long time, making me more tired than usual and less concentrated on landing with quietness. I hoped she didn't mind if I did in fact wake her, and I hoped even more than I didn't wake anyone else.

Ryadran - Ventus

Rya's head came up when she registered the presence of Persephone, and her eyes quietly smiled at the fighter. Appreciating the company, Rya pondered the question presented for a second. "I am well, thank you." She said after a moment, turning her head to look at the wolf beside her. "I think it might be time to go hunting again, but let that matter rest until the pack wakes up a little bit more." She said, scanning the dens once more. The pack was dwindling in size, but the wolves that made up Ventus were all good and trustworthy, and Rya would not have traded them for a million others. "And how are you? You were up most of the night, were you not?" She asked.

Garruk - Umbra

The lean wolf twitched his ear in amusement as Tania was expelled from Pandora's presence, but otherwise remained still in the shadows; his flanks hardly seeming to move as he breathed thinly into the cool morning air. He couldn't see his alpha's visual reaction, though he might have liked to, but by her tone of voice he gathered most of the important information for the day. She wasn't in one of her most easygoing moods, though that wasn't to be expected, and instead seemed to enjoy mocking her victims. Rising from his crouch, he moved to disappear back into the sleeping pack, but did not get the chance to move when he heard his alpha call for him. Not surprised that she had registered his presence, he slipped around the bend and into Pandora's cave. Dipping his head in respect and lowering his tail slightly, the head fighter met his alpha's bright purple eyes evenly. He didn't say anything, instead waiting for Pandora to have the first say.

Niki - Winged Wolves

Silver ears turned in Alexander's direction as he answered her question, and Niki considered how she would respond for a few moments. "Well... you sort of did wake me up..." She said hesitantly, before perking up. "But I was probably going to wake up soon anyways. I'm not sure about this lazy bunch though" she waved a wing at the sleeping pack recklessly, jumping back suddenly as she nearly hit a one of the sleeping wolves, "they usually sleep in." Quickly folding her wings back up, the energetic youngster took a few steps away from the pack to ensure that she would not come close to hitting them again. "Did you see anything interesting on your flight?" She inquired, eager to know what the elemental packs might be up to. She doubted that many would be up this early, but you never knew, and everything about the packs fascinated her. A pang of guilt struck her when she remembered that the reason why she was here was to chase them out of their homes, but she soon perked up again with her characteristic optimism and energy.

Heolstor -Outsiders-

The sun was beginning to break over the horizon, it's rays of light spreading far and wide throughout the land. Haral who had been enjoying gliding high above, began descending as dawn began to brim. Out of the corner of her eye she glimpsed Alexander dropping like a stone from the sky opening his wings last minute to glide softly back into the camp. The light casts a soft shadow below, mimicking her movements. Gliding low, so as to not be seen by other wolves. She pushes her hind legs out in front, and wings to the back to slow her down. Landing with a soft thud she pads up towards Alexander and Niki in hopes of light conversation. "Up early aren't we?".

Aaralyn -Ventus-

Aaralyn was sleeping curled up in a crescent shape, laying out in the open. Around him the grass swayed to and fro in the wake of a light gust of wind. It ruffled the fur on his back, he stirred slowly, opening his eyes. Blinking he looked around, Except for the alpha and lead fight it looked as if not many wolves where up yet. After a bit of stretching he yawned and padded over to them softly careful not to wake other sleeping wolves. Cautious not to make eye contact (he felt uneasy when he looked into another wolves eyes) he lowered his head as a sign of respect to both wolves. Looking back up, but still not making eye contact he said very quietly "m..m..morning"

I pulled out the meat I had snuck away from another pack's stores at night anf left it there. "Sorry!" yelped I before ran off quickly. I was almost impossible to spot at night due to my black fur and dark blue eyes. So stealing the food from the ventus pack's pile was easy at night. I was easy to smell though since I was always slinking around pandora's den. I absolutely loved the smell of the meat she had dropped at the opening.

Flamma

I jumped up at the alpha's voice but was partially asleep. I kept swaying since I had to wake up more but then a violent sneeze finished the job. "Do you even sleep?" I asked rubbing my muzzle with my paws. I felt really hungry and my mind felt hazy. "What do you need?" I asked obviously ready to get the day going.

Acerbus

I laughed at her assumption that it would ruin my place as healer. "If I don't heal them they can bleed to death. Let them avoid me when they near death I will be called back." I commented before giving a stretch and then getting up to keep walking. I could smell the strong earthy smell of the pack as I started working on a few cuts on a pup. The pup had fallen into some rocks the day before and was now feeling extremely sore. I finished my round before sitting by Ash again. "Why so grumpy besides the ankle bracelet?" I asked kindly going to make a nice friendship.

Scythe *Ignemium*

Her cyan eyes shot open at the alpha's aggressive tone. The very slender she-wolf rose onto her black striped paws and dipped her head to Fiora obediently, "My apologize alpha." She said in a smooth, gentle voice. The light blue-jay feathers that dangled around her were slightly weighed down from crystal like star that hung in the center. She pricked her white ears forward as she looked around at the rest of the pack quickly waking up. The she-wolf's eyes almost piercing through the wolves as they slept, Her tail swayed slightly as she stood in place. Her tail was slightly shorter then most due to a past incident with another wolf, her tail used to go from black, to white, to white with black stripes, Yet the wolf cut her beautiful, fluffy tail. She shook the memory from her mind and looked to Fiora.

Sleet *Ventus*

The blind healer sat in the far side of the camp. His clear blue eyes seeming to be observing the camp, yet all the pack members knew he was completely blind. Yet despite being sightless, it was still difficult to surprise him, being a very calm, and quiet wolf. It was easy for him to pick up any trace of sound, he could also smell the creatures near him or approaching him, feeling them shift through the thin air as they did so. He blinked he pale eyes as he huffed softly, he would be useless to the pack if he wasn't the healer. His ears drooped slightly near the tips as he thought of how his father used to call him useless and good for nothing, yet his mother refused to let him kill Sleet. He was now thinking his father was correct, he was really useless, and good for nothing. He ignored the wolves around him as he stared at the ground with his pale blind eyes, his ears drooping depressingly.

Fang *Umbra*

Fang's massive, muscular body slowly stepped out from the dark forest as he walked slowly into camp. His muscles bulging under his thick fur, his long fangs showing even though his maw was shut tightly, his almost crazed look amber eyes locked onto Tania as she fled from Pandora's den, he chuckled deeply to himself. His massive paws digging into the dirt below him. He watched the she-wolf closely, the scars along his face and muzzle were from a vicious fight with the former beta who was threatening on taking over the pack behind Pandora's back, the thought made a very deep, cruel growl erupt from his throat, that sound was able to turn an unsuspecting wolf's blood cold in fear. He had attacked the former beta male while they were alone in the forest, he brutally slaughtered the brute, it was quiet easy since the wolf suspected Fang to be his acquaintance. The brute had managed to bite Fang's muzzle while in battle, yet he died a very slow, bloody death before his body had been tossed into the river. Not long after that Fang was made beta male, did Pandora know of his cruel, yet protective actions against the pack? If she did, did she accept his actions? Fang didn't know, he watched as the lead fighter entered Pandora's den slowly. Fang then looked back to the fleeing she-wolf, a faint scent then made the fur along his spine bristle, it was the scent of Ventus. Fang quickly strides towards the she-wolf, his muscles rippling under his pelt as he approached her, he almost always smelt of blood, yet the scent was always unknown to his pack members on why or how he smelt so strongly of it. He towered over the she-wolf, "Tania." He growled deeply, his ears pricked forward his lips twitching as they pulled back to expose more of his long, razor like fangs. He crazed eyes locked on her in a deadly manor, almost mocking her.

Alicia *Teres*

She ran through the dense forest quickly, the thick mud weighing her down heavily as she ran. His grunts and growls turning her blood to slush as she ran, then it happened, his sharp fangs bit into her back ankle, she crashed into the thick mud, She whimpered as she looked up at the brute, his eyes a crazed amber, the scars along his muzzle were quite disturbing. His thick saliva dripped into her then it turned... it turned to blood. Thick hot blood was dripping onto her and matting her pelt. She became frantic as he looked around, the world around her changed into the Teres camp, she was no longer pinned in mud, yet blood. Her pack mates all laid dead around her, some pups heads were removed, others ripped in half completely. The older pack members were ripped open and laid lifeless, did he do this? All lone? No. The dark eyes watched them from the distance, the brute growled loudly, and Alicia looked up as he bared his long fangs, barks erupting as he hesitated, nagging him on to slaughter her. He opened his maw wide to expose all his razor sharp fangs as he bit into her sensitive throat, the suffocation felt so real, as her hot, crimson blood sprayed up and splattered over the ground. Laughter filled her ears as her vision became hazy and black.

Alicia's eyes shot open as she let out a soft cry of fear. She panted, gasping for air as she laid in her pack's den. She looked around cautiously, she swallowed hard before gently rubbing the back of her pack against her sore throat, she was having many nightmares of this unknown brute. She very shakily stood on her paws, and slowly stepped from the den, the golden rays of sunlight blinding her slightly as she emerged from the darkness within the den. She looked around, the camp no longer coated in blood and corpses. The fear within her constricted her heart painfully, as she observed the pack closely, no signs of danger within them. She quickly retreated to the cool shadows of a large oak tree, her ears trembling still form the dream. The wind comfortingly ruffled her fur and she exhaled deeply.

FIORA

I let myself think for a moment. Did they really think I was cruel? Harsh? Unforgiving? I was only looking out for the best interest of the pack...but was I doing a good job? What did they think of me? What did they think of the job I was doing? They must trust me if they kept me as ruler, but what if an uprise was just around the corner. I stop my rambling thoughts as quickly as I had let them begin.

"Hunting."

I say tiredly.

"We need to hunt. The Outsiders have been stealing prey from not just our lands, but most the other packs as well. If we let them get all the food, we'll starve through winter."

It wasn't that unlikely that we would. Just like the probable uprise, winter was just around the corner as well, lurking at our back paws, looking for a way to grasp it's dark paws around our bellies. If we didn't go hunting now, we would starve.

"Let's go, both of you, since no other has bothered to wake."

ASH

I'm surprised at the brute's confidence in his job. It wasn't all that hard to train a new healer, so his cockiness was absurd, but perhaps his nature. He leaves quickly to tend to a pup's wounds, but I was expecting it. No wolf liked my company, as an unfortunate character, wolves strayed away. This in mind, it startles me when he comes back, and asks about my mood. I nearly snort at his question though.

"It's not the anklet that I'm grumpy about. Try being hated, outcasted, and not spoken to for trying to defend yourself. Try being at the top of the food chain only to be dropped to the humble position of an

Omega

. Try that, and then ask me again why I'm so grumpy."

I snarl, but it was so much more than that. Not only did my status draw wolves away, but I never was a very...optimistic wolf. Many saw me as negative and secluded, and just a little while ago, I realized that I really was.

PANDORA

I walk lazily back toward my large brew, now on the verge of spilling over. I growl, and use a short burst of unharnessed cold wind magic at the brightly burning furnace. It flickers at the cold gust, and I shiver, the unharnessed magic had moved to unwanted places in addition to the potion itself, but I let the cold past, my long fur made it easy to forget. I look toward Gurruk, and I motion him toward the potion with a paw. My eyes glow bright with excitement. "

Look into the potion Gurruk, tell me what you see!

" I command him madly. Many in the pack said that my brain was not quite right, instead being scattered and on the fritz. They might be right, but it was that

deficiency

that gave me my wild edge that they feared.

PERSEPHONE

I sigh, the alpha was right, I had been up all night, and it was nice to know that someone cared.

"I will be fine my alpha, I must go see the healer though about that caffeine plant I received. It was given me an awful stomach ache.

" Normally I didn't eat strange foods that were out of my normal diet, but when the tag said caffeine, I had to have it. I wish that I didn't though. My stomach growls loudly again, and it strikes me that it might just be hunger crawling into the depths of my stomach, and that was what might be making me feel sick, but I decide to visit the healer anyway. I regularly skipped meals, for the good of the pack. My heart was big, and when a little pup doesn't have enough to eat, I can't gobble down my own small portion without being sick with myself. "

Please excuse me alpha."

I smile, bow my head and walk quickly to the blind healer that I trusted with my life.

"Sleet!"

I call in warning as I come closer, appealing to his sense of hearing.

ALEXANDER

I'm relieved when she says she doesn't mind being woken, but I skitter forward nervously as another fae lands next to me. Usually, I was much more easygoing, but after what I saw near Umbra territory, I had right to be nervous. I smile a Heolstor.

"You know very well that I'm always up this early, it just happens to be a mistake that I woke Niki."

My ears quirk to the side with curiosity as I wonder if Haral might have seen the same thing.

"Say, did you fly by Umbra territory, you know, the caves?"

I ask, making it clear that Umbra was the caves. Many winged wolves didn't take the effort to get to know the Elementals, but I thought their culture to be fascinating. Big packs rather than many small groups, the way the interacted with each other was uneasy, always in fright, instead of our relaxed culture we had back home. I just hoped that we could bring peace to the warring packs, and that we could live in harmony with them, but I know my hopes will never come true. The winged wolves are dead set on killing them from the inside, a rather devious plan in my thoughts.

The blast of cold magic drew not a flinch, nor a blink from the black wolf; as Garruk was both used to the cold and the unexpected - especially when the unexpected was coming from his radical alpha Pandora. Pale yellow eyes glinted with interest as he saw his alpha shiver, noting this potential weakness down in his ever calculating, ever cynical mind. No piece of information was lost on the head fighter; everything was stored away somewhere in the dark turmoil that was his mind, lurking just below the surface to be called up again if he should need it. The sound of Pandora's voice settled around his ears, and the lean wolf's gaze turned to the potion.

Compliantly padding towards it, his eyes suddenly lost their menacing gleam - a blank look registering in them; the look that always appeared when he was uncertain, wary, or both. Gazing into the potion, his body was taut, his legs braced far apart. A defensive position that he took up when threatened - as he knew that Pandora's potions were stronger than he. The water-like surface showed Garruk his reflection, but as he stared, the image started morphing into another picture. A low growl rumbling in his chest, Garruk didn't detach his eyes from the image floating in the potion. "What is it that you expected me to see?" He asked softly, an undertone of discomfort finding a place in his voice as he stared down into a face that was very much like his own...

Ryadran - Ventus

A smile hovered around Rya's eyes as Aaralyn stirred, padding up to where she and Persephone were sitting and greeting them. However, the healer wouldn't see this gentle emotion in her eyes if he refused to make eye-contact with her. This attribute would have deeply disturbed the alpha if she hadn't known that Aaralyn was like this with everybody, and since this was the case she accepted the action. "Good morning." She greeted the reddish wolf, putting all of her good mood into the two words. Her snowy white head turned to Persephone as the wolf announced her stomach ache, and Rya nodded. "I hope you feel better." She said, letting the words hang in the air as the lead fighter walked off to find Sleet. Returning her calm yet intent gaze to Aaralyn, she gestured to the now vacant space beside her with a twitch of her ear.

"Care to join me?" She asked the healer mildly, hoping to get him to come out of his shell.

Anika - Winged Wolves

The sudden appearance of Haral took Niki off-guard, but she quickly came to her senses and realized that her landing was probably the sound that had come from behind her, sounding so soft that the youngster and disregarded it. "Good morning" She greeted the black wolf cheerily, her ears flickering towards Alexander as he spoke. Impressed at the 'advanced' terminology that the older wolf used, she made a mental note that the wolves in the cave, whom she rarely saw but referred to as the 'Shadow Folk', were officially called Umbra. The silver winged wolf knew a lot about the different wolf packs, but she had never flown too low to hear them talk, and only called them by names she had made up for them. Knowing enough about the packs to notice which pack was being referred to in a conversation, Niki was certainly more knowledgeable than many of the Outsiders, but she made a note to pester Alexander with any specific questions she might have about the packs.

Lucem ~ Ignemuim

Lucem looked up at her alpha, her twitching ears catching her words. "I apologize for oversleeping. If it's needed, I can join in hunting with you." She said, her clear voice laced with sleepiness. She stood up and looked around at the rest of the pack, who were still soundly sleeping. She glanced at the two wolves who had woken up just before her. Flamma and Scythe. Scythe could be considered a friend, perhaps, due to the fact they shared many duties as being higher ranked wolves. Flamma, however, was barely an acquaintance. She seemed nice enough, though. One couldn't help but appreciated her personality, which fit the Ignemium stereotype far too well. "Which hunting grounds are we going to use today?" She asked, looking out past their den towards their territory, as if the answer would be waiting for her to see.

Petra ~ Teres

Hearing the sound of voices, the young wolf arose from his den and stretched, arching his back. He peeked out from where he slept; a hollowed out fallen log was where he called home. Only a few wolves were awake, of course including their resident healer, along with a few others. "Good mooorrrning!" Petra called as his tail waved lazily behind him. Padding out into the open, his lifted his muzzle to breath in the fresh air. It smelled beautiful. Just like any dewy morning, he supposed. He looked more closely at the two wolves to see who they were. Alicia and Ash. Ash was the resident omega, and was shunned for murdering a packmate. Even though he was supposed to not even lay eyes on the wolf, one couldn't help but feel at least a little sorry for him. Petra trotted towards Alicia, who was laying under an oak tree. "Good morning, Alicia!" He said, plopping down beside her. Some had said he was a bit...annoying in the mornings, as he was what you would call an early bird while most didn't appreciate the mornings like he did. It was a fresh new start to him, where the sky was clear and the air was cool. But he supposed he would just have to enjoy it alone.

Arya ~ Outsiders

Today was a crisp morning, with birds chirping and her pack just starting to get up and about. Arya finally stood up, folding her white wings neatly against her sides, which had before been providing a sort of blanket for her while she slept. She walked towards Alexander and Haral, very well knowing they had just landed from a morning flight. "Good morning. Have you seen anything interesting this morning?" She asked, wondering briefly how the packs were coping with her pack, invading parts of their territory and stealing their prey. Their demise was an interesting to think of. How would it all end for them? When would it end? When they took over the land, Arya supposed she would allow the packs to stay in the outer regions of their own territory, with the Outsiders claiming the majority of the land. But would that work? She imagined a war breaking out from all the false rumors, and as the dust fell her ranks would come in, acting as heroes. But now wasn't the time to think of such things. "I expect the packs to still be as they were?" She continued. "Not much ever seems to go on with them right now. It's kinda boring." She finished casually, looking off towards the wide plains in which the Ventus wolves lived. Not many knew their official names, with the exception of a few observatory wolves. She still took the time to continue to learn about them and their culture, as she felt the need to be the most educated. She was the pack leader, after all.

Acerbus

I scooted closer and say right by her. "I would but I don't press my luck on fighting now earning your love. That's worth pressing my luck on." Acerbus said as he looked at her with a smile. He liked her and had for a while a long while. "And that's no lie." I said a very promising tone in my voice.

~~~ Tania ~~~
I sat in my usual spot under the Omega's dens and growled at any small animal that got close. I could hear the older wolves laughing but I didn't care. I sat guard against anything small that dared to invade my pack's space. I was also the one to pounce on any small lizards that got close and tear into them with pure rade for getting too close.
¤¤¤ Flamma ¤¤¤
I heard the word hunt and sprinted out ready to do my job. I loved the feeling of the earth between my toes. I took strong breaths and could feel the wind howling past me as I ran. I was a hunter born for it raised for it and trained for it. I would easily work with others to take down prey and for me any deer I see counts.
Apollo & Artemis
Umbra
The twins wake, and stretch. Like they do every morning, the make their way to the closest source of water and drink. Artemis examines the rest of the pack with her cold, green eyes, saying nothing. She had little to no interest in anyone but Apollo, and he felt the same. The others simply didn't intriuge them.
The morning was a bit cold, and the two could feel it in their bones. "Was it a nice night, sister?" Artemis responds with a simple nod. "Then it should be a good day as well."
Boli
Teres
The young wolf pads in happily, a hare clamped in her jaws. "Good morning!" She says, afrer she drops the animal at the feet of her alpha. Boli had enjoyed a hunt lit by the dawn that morning. She does this often, in fact, it was one of her favorite things to do.
Ignis
Ignemium
Ignis yawns and stretches, watching his alpha. He had mastered the art of appearing to be lazing about when he was, in actuality, ready to fight. He was always ready to fight, if it was to protect the pack.
Ler and Tea
Outsiders
Ler flew in, to find Tea still curled in a ball with her wings wrapped around her. The male letbthe pup sleep, as it was not too long after dawn. He would have to wake her soon though. Until he does, Ler lays next to her and watches the other winged wolves interact.
( I've decided to make the roleplay as a forum roleplay. I believe the forum roleplay will make this so much more organized because there's just so many fine details in the roleplay that it's hard to find them all. If you are going to join us again, just keep a lookout for the new forum roleplay until I post a link. Thank you!)
