Realistic or Modern This Bipolar World

World War II didn't go exactly as planned. Nuclear research didn't result in anything. The Brits, still fighting Germany from the West, were begging for American support as America had already been fighting the Japanese to the East. But, America had a trick up there sleeve. They had a plan with Russia that would win the war, but first, they demanded Canada from the Brits. The Brits said no for a while, but eventually consented. American soldiers, now known as the United North American States, flooded Nazi Germany as Russia flooded Japan. After the dust cleared, Germany and the nations it dissolved as well as the new Korea Japan Empire were re-made into independent states. Soon after, The world went into a major expansion with many major powers claiming pieces of land and taking them over. This huge War-like period was known as the Great Expansion. Due to the loss of many nations, many nations decided to seclude themselves. First, the World built a massive steel-concrete wall around the whole of the Muslim world, or the Mugabe Caliphate. Next, a Soviet funded program also built the same walls on the borders that all Socialist nations had with all other nations. This was known as "The Great Block". Then, all Socialist nations closed themselves off from the rest of the world entirely, save each other. The Soviets had created "The Bloc", which is a multinational law code and economic system that all socialist nations share and abide by. In retaliation, the United States created the Coalition of Nations, a world assembly for interaction of all capitalist nations. Tension keeps building, but the bonds of both International Parties grow stronger. The year is 1950, and all information has just been made available to the public eye, at least, for now it has.

The Coalition of Nations is an organisation that merely suggests advice to each member of it's body, while not actually having the ability to enforce a law or opinion in any of the nations that are a part of the body itself.
