Welcome to my search thread!
I have been RPing for 20+ years and am in my 30s. I'd prefer to RP with people over 21 years old, but if you're an adult, I am okay with that. I am very friendly and tend to overshare while also gushing over our characters, sending pictures/music/memes that make me think of them, and so much more. I'm active when it comes to chatting and, most of the time, with RPing. Sometimes, my post can be a bit sporadic, and it can take me up to a week to reply. It doesn't mean I don't want to gush or talk about them; it just means my job has kicked my ass a little too hard, and I mentally cannot decompress fast enough to write a post before I go to bed. My job is very demanding and takes up the majority of my time. RP has been my escape from the realities of life since middle school, and I will regularly daydream about them and hurt my feelings since my brain will take it way too far.
That said, I can generally post once daily, but I can also take up to 2-3 days, depending on the scene and how much I write. I have a few RP's that are quick, rapid posts, but I generally write four to five paragraphs minimum. I have multiple active RPs and muses hit at different times for which characters I can immediately write. I don't normally need a reminder to post, but if it's been a few days and I haven't even said hello - definitely come for me. Lol!
Lastly, even though I can be pretty extroverted - until I get to know my partners better, I can be afraid to chitchat. I don't want to bug/annoy you, so if I think you're not really into chatting - I won't continue to send messages all the time. If you let me know initially that you don't mind then bet. I will be all over you; please don't ignore me for long. On the other side of that, I can get burned out from keeping up with ooc and posting. I won't ignore you for long if it comes to that.
I am searching for a long-term RP partner. I don't do oneliners, but I recently found fun in more casual RPs over Discord. A few paragraphs or more would be ideal, and if you are a lit writer who wants more, know that I am more than capable of doing so. I am not a platonic RPer. I am a romance writer and will expect all characters we create to be in some romance plotline. The level of toxicity in our story can be determined as we plan, but if you decide that you would like to discuss something, I want to be clear that it will be romance. It can be a slow, med, or fast burn - doesn't matter to me, but I don't write platonic RPs. Of course, this does not pertain to NPCs that we both can play to move the story along, but I also love playing multiple characters and having multiple couples come to life within the world.
I only will rp mxm couples. I will only play the 'submissive' character. I don't know how else to explain it otherwise -- I don't play 'tops' or 'switches.' I know some people don't go by labels when writing romance, but I do. That said, I like characters of ALL shapes, sizes, and ethnicities. Want that six-pack abs, that chubby boy, skinny and lanky, or an old man with a huge pot belly? Let's go. I'm here for realistic characters - not everyone in the world is one shape, and they don't need to be in our RP, either! I know some prefer a specific type of character being played, but if you would like to explore all of the above, know that I am not prejudiced as to what kind of character you really want to play.
I require drama, angst, tension, and chaos in my RPs. I do not RP wholesome or fluffy types. I am a big, big, big fan of dark romance. I would prefer to have some level of dark romance in the RP. I have no triggers, so you must let me know your boundaries as we plot and/or when I ask, and be truthful and honest about what makes you uncomfortable. I am comfortable writing everything (No animal abuse. I never thought I would need to put that in here??); if you say the same thing, you cannot blame me when I take it there.
I will RP on RPN in DM's or Discord.
I don't do fandoms. I will RP in some worlds, but otherwise, only OCs.
