I first want to start out by saying that I don't by (and am very sick of) this 'uke' and 'semme' bull so don't bother asking me if I prefer a 'uke' or 'semme' it's boring and not how it works. For a more dynamic and realistic RP both of us need to have variety in our characters, like in life. so if you like defining the 'uke' and the 'semme' please get out of my face. Thank you.
I don't have a minimum posting thing I want you to have don't worry, I don't love one liners but an occasional one is fine, though I make it my goal to get 4> lines per post and would like it if you did the same, as I am trying to up my Rp ability into somewhere in the 2-4 paragraph range so if you like longer Replies an tend to do them that would be great, since it will help motivate me to up my own.
Looking for active. I CAN'T STAND WAITING. if you have a reason let me know about it ASAP and I will be compliment, but disappear for 3+ days with no explanation and I will not be thrilled.

Don't quit before we have even started, I tend try to wait at least 10 pages to see where we are heading, that being said don't keep going for my sake if you hate it. I just ask that we have a good chance to start a plot going before you quit. ya feel?

ABSOLUTELY NO INSTA ROMANCE
it kinda creeps me out. People fall for each other slow or they're faking it and all my experience with insta-romance have creeped me out.
That being said if you are still with me I have a idea for a long-term slice of life Rp
It has no title (at least not that I like it has every number of cheesy ones.)
Here is the plot (I say plot I mean idea) as I have it so far.
(I probs want to be character 1)
Character 1 owns a bookstore/coffee shop (either or possibly both) in the artsy end of NYC. This isn't always what Character 1 wanted to do, or did. He used to be a fire fighter. Used to be. It's a long story but he can't be anymore, why? because firefighting takes sacrifice. and he already made a big one. It's fine though, he's independent. He's okay. I mean the spinal injury is minor so he can walk with the help of arm crutches, he can even do a few steps with out them. And it's been years, he doesn't need any help.
I want to make it perfectly clear this won't be a 'help me oh no!' Rp. no. just... no. the spinal thing is meant to add depth and possible plot points and add interesting things.
Character 2 is a businessman (lawyer? Architect? publisher?), fresh in his new cozy office over the NYC skyline, as per his new promotion. He has an apartment and an x-wife and teenage child who live in ______ (doesn't matter I was think Floria or California, as long as it's farish away so visits would be far and few.) He and his x get along just fine, and _____ (child) visits most holidays. It can be a little lonely though....

okay so not much of a plot.
The point is that it would be a slow build romance dealing with some PTSD emotional type of things with life happening here and there, as well as the struggles for disabled people, I just really want to do an RP about making the best out of a sh*t situation. And falling in love while it happens.
So major plot points/arcs will be mostly things we come up with that happen in life
so a life rp.
now that I may have offended and confused you.
