A new member of RPNation.
And, this would be my first forum Recruitment post.
I'm looking to get a basic start and feel for Role-playing on here.
I enjoy Fantasy, magical, mythical and supernatural settings.
With any type of character that can fit well within those standards.
The plot I had in mind would be.
Your character is a hard working, decent being.
Your character also has just lost everything to a fire.
They had little to begin with, but food, shelter, memories, family.
It strikes them emotionally after just receiving a great harvest.
Now they are left with nothing.
Days pass on.
They wander around, begging common folk and villagers for aid.
But times are cruel.
They come to the terrible mental conclusion.
Stealing is the only way, if no one will help.
It works in your characters favor at first, until they steal from the wrong Hunter in the forest.
Can you convince this brute to spare you the punishment?

Jiu's Stats
Acrobatics: +8
Attunement: -5
Charisma: -4
Close Range Combat, Duel Curved Daggers: +10
Difficulty Level: HARD
Divine Faith: -5
Items, Numbing Darts, and Sake pouch: +1
Long Range Combat, Long Bow: +6
Luck: +2
Mid-Ranged Combat, Nothing: 0
Self Awareness: -4
Self Confidence: +8
Situational Awareness: +7
Special Ability, Mouse Pounce: +10
Stamina: +8
Stealth: +7
Strength: +10
Wit: +5
Now what I'm looking for in this plot is a character building arch for Jiu.
His Attunement is -5.
He's terrible at relating to others on an emotional level.
I want him to grow and learn how to feel, as a living being would.
His Self Awareness is -4.
So, he lacks even the self knowledge of how poorly of a person he truly is.
Without a thought to even try and change his behavior.
How his actions even effect others.
If successful, you'll create a huge softy out of this brute, and can continue stealing from him, or turn your character around for the good to.
Or heck, if your character wants to jump on the ban wagon of being a terrible person by all means reassure Jiu of his ways and the two of you can go pillage a town of all their cookies and go cow tipping. lol.
