I don't know how to code so I'm gonna keep this as short as possible!
Here is the layout of the land. We will be starting in the town. (don't judge me a drew this with a mouse)
The bottom right is the city, I forgot to label it and I'm lazy.
The town: it's a very small town placed in the middle of nowhere. Most houses are on farmland or a few achres. There are a few apartment complexes, most of them dirty and full of crime. There is a small town square in the middle that has a few cafés, grocery stores, clothing shops, and antique shops. Other then that it's pretty much empty. The town square is dangerous due to the creatures learning it's where people go to get supplies.
The city: the city is a large one (ex: San Francisco). It's run down at this point and no one is allowed to live there. A hospital there is heavily guarded and it's sole purpose is to save as many lives as possible. Unfortunately you can't have permanent residence there due to the risk of someone being killed and mimmicked.
The gas station: the gas station is an extremely sketchy gas station that has some fuel left. It is used only when people are stranded and in need of quick shelter. Something seems off about it, I wonder what?
The village: the village is, y'know, a village. It has handmade homes and is heavily guarded by its residents. Unfortunately though, the people there arent friendly and would more likely mug you then help you.
The well: the well is the best source of water if you need it right away and can't melt snow. It's dangerous though, and is a famous spot for muggings.
Other cabins and buildings are scattered around that will be explained in story.
Creatures hollow: this is a opening in the forest where the creatures reside. One of the many leaders live there in an anthill like structure.
The creatures:
The creatures look like masses of flesh and bone when aggressive or not mimicked. They have around 200 sharp teeth sticking out of them and use their bones as claws by sticking them through their flesh. The creatures can look nearly identical to any living thing (besides plants), but when they attack they look distorted, usually their chests or faces opening up to reveal rows of sharp teeth. If encountering a new person the best way to know if they are human or not is to check their heartbeat, since the creatures have three hearts instead of one.
The powers:
The gifted: The gifted have powers that will help them without directly harming them. All of the gifted powers have a base of these things:
Healer: Healers can, y'know, heal. They can only heal internal damage though. EX: If someone gets mauled across the stomach it may heal any internal bleeding and damage but it will not heal the large gashes that are still bleeding the person out. Healers cannot heal themselves, but other healers can heal them. (Only 2 people can be a healer in this rp)
Sensor: They have heightened senses. They are able to hear small sounds, see well in the dark, feel where things are coming from through vibration, and ultimately can sense when something is wrong. Sensors are often time jumpy and hate loud noises. (Only 2 people can be a sensor in this rp)
Invaders: Invaders are able to tell how people feel and influence their decisions. They are called invaders because they are invading personal space. Invaders cannot be all like MiND CoNTRol OOoo they can only influence decisions by making a person favor their idea better than their own. If a person notices the invader doing this it automatically fails, so they have to be careful with how much power they put into it. (Only 1 person can be an invader in this RP)
The Cursed: The cursed have powers that the person is either unable to control or directly harms the person.
Red: This makes a person bound to only drinking blood and water. They cannot ingest any other food and will throw up if they attempt to (NO THEY ARE NOT VAMPIRES JUST BECAUSE THEY DRINK BLOOD). They are faster and more capable of hunting, oftentimes being considered more predatory than other humans.
Giants: These people are usually larger than most, although they can be normal-sized. They are extra strong, but this comes with the side effect of constantly having health problems. Giants oftentimes suffer from migraines or pain in parts of their bodies for no reason at all.
Them: A person who has this mutation has the ability to move and run faster, have some sort of weapon appear (EX: A knife appears in their hand in the form of light), and is more resistant to most damages. The bad thing is they can't control when this happens. The only time these abilities work is when they are in a life-threatening or stressful situation, and even then sometimes they don't. When the abilities do work they can't control themselves and tend to go on a murdering spree. Loud noises are the best defense against Them.
The weather:
Everything is snowy and cold. No matter what happens, if the sun is beating down, the snow will not melt or go away. Blizzards are often and dangerous. Snow gear is required to travel or you will become hypothermic within minutes.
The forest:
Forest surrounds every part of the map that is not labeled. The forest is extremely dangerous and full of creatures. The animals are also much larger and some herbivores have mutated into carnivores, such as deer.
