• Oswald is the kind of person whose more trouble than he's worth by making more mistakes than he can fix. Never trust him around any of your personal belongings, because he's guaranteed to break it. It's almost a curse. It was due to this odd habit that he managed to obtain a skill in mechanics and engineering due to the fact that he's constantly fixing everything. Although, he does happen to break stuff often, he always manages to repair them back to order.
  
  Very rarely will you see the boy smile. A lot of stuff on his plate, sadly, since the accident. Well, it's not like he smiled a lot before he got drafted either. He would often get caught staring absentmindedly when he's amid conversation. Often he would think of the faerie tales his mother would tell him or perhaps the next innovation in clockwork machinery. One can never truly tell between the two.
  
  
• Oswald, simply put, is a very troubled young man. Drafted into a war he wanted no part of, but not wealthy enough to avoid--- he was forced to become a soldier in the name of Ossuary. He was honorably discharged a year later, less than three years too early by normal accounts.
  
  Again, it's not like he had a choice.
  
  Due to an unusual occurrence at his assigned military quarters, he suffered a left leg injury that broke the bottom of the fibula and tibia. He was released from duty six months later from clinical care when they realized no matter how often they break the bone, it will no longer heal properly at the right juxtaposition. It was during this time he obtained the will of Sergeant Robert Toulouse's will. Due to having no familiar bonds due to the Consumption epidemic and his close bond with the young man, he dedicated his property to Oswald.
