Scars: Due to the car accident he was involved in a year and a half ago, Langdon no longer looks anything like the photos his family surround themselves with. His right eye is gone completely, and scar tissues mars the right side of his face beyond recognition. His torso is a wreck, decorated by markings that tell the tale of flesh colliding with machine in far too graphic detail for most people to feel comfortable to look at it. Deformed by impact, his ribcage has never been the same, and his spine if misaligned to give him an unusually curved back. He is subsequently forced to walk with crutches most of the time, and is supposed to use a wheelchair, but refuses out of sheer stubbornness.
