Realistic or Modern They Bite, Alright - OOC

I'm currently making the roleplay post, since I took Saturday off for RPN, so I'll review character sheets after I finish the post, if people still need those to be reviewed.

The first post has been finished. If you have questions about how to post, let me know via DM. Essentially, you can post about anything before 12:03 P.M., but make the time changes realistic, and include timestamps, like in my post, so I can easily follow it. You have until May 5th, 2018 at 11:59 P.M. to finish your post, before I move on to the next scene.

If I have not accepted your character, you can still do your first post, or you can choose to wait. I will review the remaining character sheets later today or tomorrow, so that's why you're allowed to post, since I may not be giving you enough time due to my schedule.

Lewisia Lewisia , do we have on hour in-game or in real life?

It's an hour in the roleplay, which is I guess in-game, if that makes sense. Let me see if I can be clear.

You, the roleplayer, have five days and a bit more to do a post, but inside the post, you can only roleplay events up to 12:03 P.M. that is in-game time. For example, you can post about what your character had for breakfast, etc. Your character has an hour to escape, so if you choose to stay inside the hospital past 12:03 P.M. your character will have to deal with an overrun hospital. No one knows about the time limit, it's just assumed that something bad will happen soon, and the best way to not deal with it is to get out of the hospital. If your character has seen the infected humans, they would understand more about the necessity of the evacuation. I hope this makes sense.

How do you guys make your characters? Do you think of a backstory first and have that shape your character or do you make the personality first then make the backstory around that?

Also, Lewisia Lewisia how detailed should the backstory be?

To be frank, as long as the backstory isn't too unrealistic, I don't really mind the contents, or the length. I just have it there as reference for your character, so you know what they've been through. Basically, the backstory explains what made them who they are today.

Lewisia Lewisia

The medicine decreases his chances of having seizures. He stills gets them, just not as often. Like, for example, if he takes it on his regular schedual, he would probably seizure only twice a month. If he stops taking the medicine all together, he would seizure two-three times a week. The Medication also affects the time of his “episodes.” Taking the medicine, his seizures only last around 30 seconds or so. Without medication, they can last between 1-3 minutes.

Thank you for your response. Sorry, I didn't answer this earlier. The OOC moves so fast. Your character is accepted.

Lewisia Lewisia

To answer your question, he has a degree in aeronautical engineering, while he is able to pilot any type helicopters, the most common one was the VH-60N

And on the first note, It's an I not an L xD I do not use either of the All, just iI

Likewise, sorry for the lack of quick response. Alright, your character is approved. I'm not knowledgeable on helicopters, which is why I ask, since I don't know if there's different classifications of helicopters, like with cars, trunks, and motorcycles, etc.

That moment when you literally get about 25 notifications from Lewisia Lewisia just liking your posts 0_0.

lol.

Since there's so many posts I have to read, I need to like them so I know which ones I've read, so I don't backtrack myself too much. Sorry about that, but I'm always going to like any post.

Thank you for your character submission.

1. Knowledge on veterinary would go under qualifications, which you do have and not under personality strengths/weaknesses, unless you're using it to explain how she's adaptive to her environment. You have enough strengths, the minimum three, so you're fine, but just edit that bit out, or use it to explain one of her strengths in a mental way.

Your character is approved.

boo. boo.

Thank you for your character submission.

1. List the keys to her apartment in your current inventory. It's not too important, just a little nitpick that I have to say for consistency, because I've told that to other people's character sheets.

Your character is approved.

Thank you for your character submission.

1. Be specific about your keys such as Keys (Car, Apartment, etc.) Even though its assumed, it helps me keep track, should the RP progress for a long time, which is my hope.

2. I just realized no relationships. I'm assuming they aren't relevant at the moment, so just post those whenever you're going to introduce a character with a prior relationship to yours.

3. Replace handy with a needle and thread with careful/steady. Replace colorblind with something that deals with personality. You can put colorblind in your character's background. Replace heavy smoker with an addiction to smoking. Replace not very athletic with "unmotivated when it comes to exercise."

4. Your reason for visiting the hospital is declined, because the hospital is a serious one. Maybe if it was a pediatricians office, it would be different, but you'll have to do something different. How about, you're visiting the hospital to do research on fashion, even though that still doesn't make much sense, considering there's an internet, and professionals you can speak to outside the hospital. Unfortunately, I just can't accept that reason, because I can't think of any realistic reason for vising the hospital other than ignorance, and being led out by staff/police.

Once you've answered those questions, your character will be approved. I will make anything related to getting a fashion show, and speaking with the director null if you include that in your roleplay post, because it just lacks sense. Not to offend, but this is like one of those hospitals you go for sick people. It's hard to explain.

Thank you for your character submission.

1. There is no garden on top of the hospital roof, so I'll have to decline that portion of the reason for vising the hospital. However, visiting your sister is valid. The roof of the hospital can only be accessed by staff with I.D. cards.

2. Also include keys in your characters inventory specifying for cars/apartment/etc.

Once you've accepted that, I'll approve your character.

Thank you for your character submission.

1. Get rid of Good Doctor, or replace with disciplined. Get rid of her arm, or replace with constant chronic agony that makes her uncomfortable unless she takes medication.

Once you've fixed that, I'll approve your character.

For your side character, NASH ORION:

1. The hospital only allows visitors if they are family/friends and approved by the patient, so you'd only be able to have your character deliver flowers to the front office in the hospital.

If you fix that, your side character is approved.

Nefelibata726 Nefelibata726

For your side character, COLORADO SULLIVAN:

1. I'm assuming his brother currently has the keys. If your side character has the keys list it in his inventory for the car.

2. I can't remember all the characters (There's far too many at the moment), so if he's at the hospital explain why he's there with his brother.

Once you fix that, I'll approve your side character.

Lewisia Lewisia I edited what you asked me to. I elaborated on what I mean by her arm, replaced good doctor with just a broad knowledge of medicine, and added what other languages she knows. Kind of a critical detail to leave out :p

For strengths, they need to be mental/personality related, so a broad knowledge of medicine doesn't tell me much compared to saying she's able to absorb information relatively quickly, so she's adaptable or disciplined in her field. Languages aren't a strength, but a qualification.
