Addison Esperance
— antisocial
— Machiavellian
— sadistic.
What is there to say about Addison Esperance? Quite a bit, actually. He's a philanthropist, frequently donating to charities. He's a humanitarian, funding the tireless efforts of countless altruistic organizations and even lending his family's name to a few of them. He's personable, down-to-earth despite his privileged background, and happy to defer credit to those who work under him. "After all," he says, "they're the ones who take care of most day-to-day operations. I just provide some money to help the process along." Talented yet humble, soft-spoken yet unhesitant to defend his values, subtle yet distinct. You'd be hard-pressed to find anything bad to say about him.
... If you're a member of the general public, at least.
Behind closed doors, Addison Esperance is a man of many faces but only one name. He's a cutthroat businessman, an unapologetic blackmailer, and an amoral manipulator. He'll do anything in order to get what he wants, and he wants a lot. There's no empathy in this man, not a single shred, and there's no place for useless things like feelings. While clearly outclassed in terms of raw physical power, he's backed up by multiple guards at any given moment, and that—combined with his cunning mind—more than makes up for his physical weakness. With his unreadable demeanor and empty smile, there's no wonder that he's made quite a few enemies in his time negotiating (or coercing, or simply blatantly threatening) deals that are either in his favor or equally beneficial for him and the other party.
He's a dangerous man, a snake in the grass—an adder, if you will. Woe to any poor sod that crosses him in private.

A non-comprehensive list of things that I'd be interested in exploring:
- imbalances in power
- psychological warfare
- a pitting of equally brilliant minds against each other.
also, to be completely upfront? Addison is more likely to put your chara in a modern-day Khuk Khi Kai than get involved rhomantically with them. best not to try ya luck.
