In stories of old they tell about 12 heroes. Heroes born under the 12 zodiac signs, these heroes are worshiped by everyone as being messengers of the stars (in this world there are no gods or godesses, people believe in the stars, and the zodiac signs). Every ten thousand years or so a new generation is branded with a zodiac sign, and this signs the coming of a great evil. Every time this happens the zodiac warriors always save the world, but now the steaks are even higher and from the looks of it this generation of zodiac warriors might not save the world.

The emporer of the Aurerene Empire summons the newest 12 warriors to prepare for the end of the world. Will they succeed, or will they fail horribly? Who knows.

Shizuk, the capital of the Aurerene Empire. A true marvel of the modern world, it is the first city to have running water, and most of it is clean. At the center of the city lays an acropolis like palace that looms over the sprawling city. With the 12 zodiac warriors appearing the city has thrown a festival in their honor. Zodiac warriors are held high in both the political and religious standards. Although not everyone will see the warriors, they hope to get a glance at their powe, and superiority.

At the main gates of the palace two guards stand by, they both weird spears and their faces are blocked by their helmets. A blond hair young man walks twords them. The two cross their spears to block his way, "only the zodiac warriors are allowed to pass here," the one on the right told the man. With a sigh the man removes th gauntlet on his eight hand, and shows them the Scorpio symbol on the back of his hand. "My apologies sir, please go right in," the guard said, and without another word the man walks past them. Once the man is gone the guard on the left looks over to the other guard, "was that him?" The famous mercenary?" He asked, and the other guard nods, "I bet all of my salary that it's him, there's no way someone could have a record like his, and not be a zodiac warrior," he replied before going back to his guard duties.

The young woman stared wide-eyed at the city before her. She had just arrived at Shizuk, and the sight was overwhelming. I've never seen a city so big! she thought to herself, brushing her blue hair out of her reddish-brown eyes. Just the sight of the city filled her with unease, as the thought of being surrounded by so many people intimidated her. As her anxiety rose, so did a small puddle of water, being soaked up from the ground beneath her feet.

"Here goes nothing," Arya mumbled to herself, taking a deep breath to regain her composure before walking calmly into the city, her face a mask hiding her fears. To the outside world, she must look like a confident and calm person. Still, the water that had puddled up near her feet traveled along the ground behind her, slowly bubbling up as she stepped onto the paved road into the city. Eventually, Arya arrived at the main gates of the palace, where she was stopped by the palace guards.

The guard on the right said his bit, "Only the zodiac warriors are allowed to pass here."

As if in response, the puddle at Arya's feet began boiling angrily, bubbling up and releasing steam into the air. A nearby fountain had a similar effect, the water bubbling up in a livid boil, responding to the girl's anxiety. Still outwardly calm and emotionless, however, Arya silently rolled up her sleeve to reveal the Pisces symbol on the inside of her wrist, and, after the guards had exchanged a look with each other, was allowed to pass.

Oh goodness, I hope they didn't think I was angry at them... she thought nervously, realizing that the boiling water might have hinted at anger rather than the nervousness she was feeling. Now inwardly dwelling on her internal worries, she became lost in thought as she wandered down the hallway, steely expression on her face and a small pool of boiling water still following in her footsteps.

Harmony Atlantia Adila,

Harmony is a very unusual girl in any ways. For one, she's insecure. For another, her appearance is blue-themed. And she also happened to be a Zodiac Warrior, heroes that are worshiped by everyone, known for saving the world. But, maybe this time, the world could possibly end. Hopefully not...

There she was, at Shizuk, capital of the Aurerene Empire, the first to have running water. She felt anxious and joyous at the same time. It was hard to tell what she herself was feeling. Well, her being joyous is typical, though. However, there are some other many things she can't do. Like smell different scents. Ever since she was little, she had a hard time smelling scents. There are bad things about it, for example, she can't smell anything, like roses and food, but there are also some good things, like not being able to smell trash or dirt. This disorder is called Anosmia. Anosmia is the inability to perceive odor or a lack of functioningoldaction—the loss of the sense of smell. Anosmia may be temporary, but some anosmia (including traumatic anosmia) can be permanent. Anosmia is due to a number of factors, including an inflammation of the nasal mucosa, blockage of nasal passages or a destruction of one temporal lobe.

She approached the main gates, taking two skips forward, five steps back, one leap forward, ten steps back. Obviously, maybe the guars thought she was insane. And finally, she walked towards the main gates, only to be stopped by two guards, crossing their spears. Before they said a word, she hastily pulled her sleeve up, waving her hand in front of one guard's face, showing the guard the Libra symbol, on her wrist. Interchanging glances, the guards allowed her to past. Carelessly wanderig inside, she kept humming loudly, simply ignoring every other thing

Roxie approached the city gates in front of her. She had a little bit of a hang over from her partying the last night. The sun was much to bright and she was in a bad mood, more then usual. She walked up to the gates with her hands in her pockets and her head held down. She was suddenly stopped by guards stating only Zodiac warriors were aloud in. She slowly raised her head up and looked at them with very irritated and scary look on her face. The guards were bit taken back. She then moved her hand to the right side of her skirt and started to pull it down a little. She looked up at the guards noticing the look on their faces. "Calm down look." On her hip there was a Virgo sign. "Now may I go in?" They nodded and let her through. She walked in and yawned and stretched out her arms. "....I could use a drink."

Zane woke up from his nap he had outside the city Shizuk. He awoke with a slight headache, probably from all the acorns that fell on his head while he slept. He got up running his head. He looks down seeing countless acorns on the ground. Damn squirrels. He said to himself. He looks up at the sky looking for the sun and trying to tell what time it might be. Looks like its time for me to get going. He said to himself. He places his hands in his pockets and starts walking towards the city gates. Upon his arrival he was stopped by the guards. Zodiac Warriors only they stated. Zane chuckles and rolls up his left arm sleeves showing and turns over his arm showing the Aries symbol on his forearm. The guards nod allowing him to pass. Thank you chaps. He walks in with his hands behind his head whistling.

Esme Monroe

Esme approached the gate of the city. Her arms were behind her head as she walked forward towards the gates. She kicked the ground under her feet with her black boot. Dust shot up into the air and twirled around for a bit. "Sup, Fellas." She said in greeting to the guards. She quickly flashed them her Sagittarius marking that rested underneath the collar of her shirt. Their protests stopped and immediately, they opened the gates. Esme watched as the doors swung open to reveal the innards of the city.

The place was huge to say the least. It was a change from the country sides and small market places that she grew up with. As she walked into the maze of the city, she took it all in. The people that crowded around in the streets, the different smells, all the new, interesting things. "Guess it's a nice change of scenery." she mumbled to herself. She kept her hands behind her head ans she spun around slowly, looking at everything. "Well, here goes nothing." Esme made her way deeper into the city.
