Background: Beth was born to a very desperate single mother. Her father was out of the picture as soon as he found out her mother was pregnant. As a result of this, Beth's mother fell into a deep depression while her daughter was growing up. Life was not good for young Beth. For some odd reason, Beth was never happy as a child. She didn't like to play with the other kids, she didn't like to laugh and yell and giggle. She didn't know it at the time, but she was able to sense the overwhelming sadness that her mother felt all the time and this depression trickled down into Beth's mind. When her mother suffered, Beth suffered too. Usually this involved her mother drinking too much alcohol and crying out during the long nights. During some of the minimal times when her mother actually was happy, Beth was able to feel this and was able to be momentarily happy too. Most often that not though, Beth's mother was overdosing on pills or alcohol. Despite Beth's desperate attempts to help her mother, she was simply too far gone to be helped. In fact, Beth's mother sold her out to the DPR in order to get more money for alcohol. Extremely hurt and incredibly lonely, Beth arrived at the compound.

Personality: Beth is most often considered to be a shy, quiet girl. She doesn't talk a whole lot, especially when in groups of people. It makes her uncomfortable to know that everyone is paying attention to her. Usually she just tries to blend into the background and stay out of the overall spotlight. She isn't completely mute though, she just chooses specifically when to talk and when not to. More often than not, Beth is very sweet and understanding. She is able to sense how others are feeling, and can therefore tailor her words to their emotions. Once you get beneath her shell of insecurity , she is very friendly and considerate to everyone and their emotions. Beth rarely proclaims her ability, unless she is absolutely sure she can trust someone.

Name: Wade Fletcher (goes by Fletcher)

Background: Fletcher's parents encourage learning, and began teaching their child at a young age so they didn't think much of it when he skipped kindergarten. As time went on Fletcher displayed impressive learning skills, he could remember anything he read or saw with precise detail even if he only saw it once, on top of this his analytical and comprehensive skills were through the roof. Despite all this Kindergarten was the only grade Fletcher allowed himself to skip even though he very well could have passed another couple of years. He wanted to learn all that he could in and out of the classroom. His parents were proud of course but sometimes his mass of knowledge made them uneasy. On top of that his high school teachers would constantly complain, saying that he had to be cheating, or something of the sort. After graduating high school a member of the DPA came to his house, his test scores had been to impressive to ignore, as did his IQ test. Fletcher didn't waste a second before trying and succeeding in convincing his parents to let him join the DPA's Zenith Project.


Personality: Fletcher is a bright and happy guy, he is laid back and easy going. However, he is also a scatter brain, and a day dreamer often getting caught in his own rapidly moving train of thought or rambling on end if you get him going in a conversation. He knows he's smart but he doesn't brag, and he's never treated anyone as if they are lower than him. His favorite quote is "A wise man knows, that he knows nothing"

BackgroundPlease include under what circumstances the character was selected for the project) She was born to a family that seemed to be completely lucky. They were extremely rich because of this, having the ability to read the stock market and win lotteries. As a result, her father was arrested for insider trading and fraud. Her mother, knowing the outcome, chose to let her husband be taken away, fearful of how powerful his abilities were. Annabelle does not know this. Her mother goes to trances and remembers next to nothing, making her abilities near useless. They both came from a strange island and met there. They then moved to a large city, hoping they blend in there and start anew. Annabelle went into a trance during midterms and began screaming about war and death and the end of everything. Her teacher was rattled and sent her to the school psychologist, who quickly contacted her mother. Her mother, terrified for her fate and having to put up with Annabelle contacted Zenith Academy and Annabelle was sent off. Annabelle doesn't mind this.


Personalitymore than a sentence please) Annabelle is very quiet and isn't a good student. She doesn't do much other than write. She is a coward and is never one to rebel, trying her best to blend in. She isn't close with her mother and takes a negative view on everything and tries not to care, believing that she will never be anything and that humanity is nothing and evil as a whole. She doesn't believe that anyone is truly innocent, after a lifetime of seeing humanity commit atrocities and believes the worst in everyone but herself. She finds the attitudes of everyone around her sad and is somewhat arrogant as a result, believing herself to be 'different' and smarter than the others. She takes pride in her family for their abilities and views her father as almost a martyr. However, she is disappointed that she didn't get her families abilities, thinking of her father as almost perfect. She is considering suicide.
