One Thousand Club
Master Na Fae-Bong walked among the market streets of NingJing on one sunny morning with a content smile on his face. His long white robe with black trim flirted with swiping across the ground and getting itself dirty, but Fae-Bong seemed not to care if it did. He was more concerned with the fresh fruit he was buying for his students this morning. A large basket full should suffice. He filled it with bananas, pomegranates, apples, oranges, the works. Fae-Bong's first class was always the younglings. 9 and under. He liked to bring them a snack, in case any of the poorer ones hadn't eaten yet that day. It helped them focus better, he found. The youngling class was free, as Fae-Bong didn't have the heart to turn away any of the street-children who wanted something to distract themselves from being poor and homeless. If a few of them stayed behind and slept in the covered courtyard to keep out of the rain at night, that was just as well too.

The good Master then began to head back down the street toward the center of the city. He dodged a man on a bike and next a traveling mercenary on a horse who seemed to be in a hurry. He could see the sign of his school in the distance from straight down the road. It shown the words as clear as the day he created it. 世界武术学校 (The World's School of Martial Arts) all in plain red letters. The building itself was natural rising above the surrounding homes and shops. It's roof had a strictly Asian influenced design, however it's roof had holes where large pipes and vents pored steam into the air. As he walked through his gate he was greeted by his most loyal student.

"Good morning master!"

"Good morning, Shin. Are you ready for your test before class?"

"Ready like every morning!" Said Shin Magami enthusiastically. Master Bong made him test his skills every morning to make sure he was still adept enough to teach classes at the school. As such he had to keep his own skills sharp, which he was sure that was the point. He took the basket of fruit from the master and placed it on a table right beside the gate. He then took a place across from his master of seven years on the other side of the cobblestone floors. His master bowed, a little rigid showing his age, and Shin bowed back. He then snapped immediately into a fighting stance. His guard was high today, a trait of Muay Thai useful for guarding one's head. His master, however, adopted a sideways stance with his hands behind his back. Shin made the first move, rushing his master and throwing a powerful push kick at him. His master side stepped gracefully, and snapped a side kick into the boy's torso. He stumbled, but quickly regained his composure and threw several wild punches at an incredible speed. Master Bong dodged with expert head movement. By now the younglings had started to file into the courtyard. They each took some fruit and sat off the the side, watching the fighters as they did every day. He then threw a single powerful roundhouse to his student's head, who attempted to block. The kick pushed through his defense and hit the boy in the head. This hit seemed only to improve Shin's speed, as he immediately recovered and released a volley of punches at his opponent's torso. These connected just fine and seemed to effect the master. The master then grabbed the boy's wrist and twisted it, until his knees were on the ground and his arm was locked in place.

"You have decent power, my student, but you need to learn to dodge when you can, block when you have to."

"Yes master," Said Shin, massaging his wrist and smiling. He then turned to the younglings and adopted a slightly more serious expression. "Okay warriors, line up!" Master Na Fae-Bong calmly walked to a chair that was beside the door to the inside of the school and watched his students. After this class was the intermediate level class, which he taught more personally.
