Leon swam back to shore with Mordock. Earl took out his wand and cast a bubble head charm on those who remained in the water still.
Adelaide got sweeped away with the others when the water rushed in. She tumbled around under water, fearing she might have injured her wings. She broke the water surface and frantically splashed around she never been in deep water as she wasn't much of a swimmer. She gasped trying to keep herself above water but insted taking in water as she coughed. She tried her best to get to shore but not moving an inch as she really dint know how to swim.Pretty soon the caustic blob stops moving as it was nearly completely dissolved by the spells and energy, it got washed away along with everybody else in the cave as the torrent of water rushed through the dissolved blob barrier that was holding it back, it began filling the lake rather quickly, slowing to a trickle once the underground lake had reached its rim. Everybody had been sucked into the river and was now completely soaked from head to toe

Miandiya swam up to the surface of the water, coughing up a bit. She looked around and saw Adelaide having trouble. She swam over to help her.
Leon went to help Adelaide.
Adelaide was at this point in complete panic she didn't want to drown and was splashing around like crazy. Grabing on to Miandiya in panic causing to drag her underwater with her. (Trying to make it how some people panic when they are drowning that causes more problems when they are being rescued ...hope I made since)
He pulled them both out
(it made sense to me. ) Miandiya was surprised when Adelaide dragged her underwater. She didnt have much time to react when Leon pulled them both out."thanks.." she said coughing up some water
Adelaide coughed "thank you" she quietly said not looking up at either of them, completely embarrassed of what she had done. "I am so terribly sorry Miandiya...I almost...I didn't mean to I just don't know...I am so sorry"
He used prestidigitation to dry them off
"Don't worry about it. We're both okay. That's all that matters." She smiled.
Adelaide held her hands and to her chest and gently nodded. "you are right we are safe...thanks to Leon" She said seeing that they were now safe at the shoreline
Adelaide looks up at Leon and sheepishly smiled as he cast a spell to dry them off. "thank you Leon"

Emily looked around a bit confused and hoping the others were safe as she swam to the shore as she did she spotted Dru " Dru!!... you're alright?" she yelled out waving to him.

Because Maya was in the cave where the blockade was, she couldn't escape and got hit with the full force of the rushing water when it was able to flow again. Trapped in the surge of water, she was flung into the lake. She tried to swim out, but her body was still in shock from the sudden impact. With her consciousness fading, she felt a rush of wind shoot her out of the water as if she got launched from a geyser. Maya crashes onto the shore.
"Earl!.." Emily shouted happily spotting that Earl was safe as well. She frowned holding back a chuckled as she saw him swimming over to her "show off..." she said

"Yeah thanks Leon. We owe you one." Miandiya said and saw Maya crash into the shore after getting shot out of the water. "Maya! You ok?"
Adalaide nodded agreeing with Miandiya that they indeed own him one. That when something came flying out of the water and onto the beach of the lake "Maya?!... Oh my goodness is she alright?" the fairy asked as Miandiya ran over to the girl
(Nope)
(Ugh.)
Maya looks up at Miandiya and Adelaide. "I...think so?" She said weakly. "Though I'm not sure...what just happened. Are you two okay?" She tries to reach back for her sword. "Damn....I forgot. It's gone."
"Yeah we're okay thanks to Leon. " miandiya said. "We can try to find you a new sword."
"That would be nice. I'd really appreciate it." She said as she finally manages to sit up. "I feel so useless without it."
