The mass continued to follow her, at a slightly faster then snail pace, but it kept coming regardless

"At least it's slow." She said as she tossed a few rocks at it. "Actually, I have an idea. I came through a tunnel, so if I'm loud enough, I can scream through it and then lure this acidic abomination away." Maya sprints off towards the tunnel. Once she gets there, she inhales deeply before letting out a ferocious scream in hopes that the echoes of the tunnel would help her voice reach the others.

Not sure whether or not her plan worked, Maya takes the handle of her sword and drags it along the ground until she gets near the creature. "Alright! Bring it on whatever you are!" She attempts to go around it. It was by a cave. I wonder if there's something in there that could help.

(Lady Nacha told Maya about wanting to get the group moving, and she mentioned swimming, so Maya decided to scout ahead. She ended up coming across a dried lake and went to investigate why the lake was dry when she came across some mass that's slowly chasing after her while eroding everything in its path. Maya didn't want to bring it all the way to everyone because she didn't want to risk ruining the environment there or the tunnels being destroyed, so she's attempting to get their attention by yelling through the tunnel because of how loud she is.)

Adelaide looks around hearing the screams "is that Maya?..." she said to no one particular as her guess was answered by Miandiya who confirmed it was Maya. The fairy wondered if she stumbled into the snake lady once more, but she hoped she was alright.

Emily looked around hearing the screams echoed and she quickly knew it was Maya. "It's the loud girl...I think she is in trouble....we should go help" she said looking over to Earl.

"Ugh! This thing's absorbing everything!" Maya said before seeing Dru in the distance. Looks like my gamble paid off. Someone did hear me. "Dru! Be careful! That thing erodes whatever gets too close to it, and then it uses that to get stronger somehow! Just like it did with my sword!"

The attack proved to be ineffective against the mass of sludge as it changed its focus to Dru

"Don't worry I should be able to help hold it off." Dru would switch pace and blast it with a ray of freezing energy before trying to cast a spell to turn his energy into chains to contain the creature.

"My sword got disintegrated, but I'm fine otherwise!" Maya answered. She then pointed at the cave where the mass came from. "That thing was blocking the water coming from this cave! I'm gonna check it out and see if there is something helpful inside since I can't get close enough to fight that thing! Yell if you need me!" She points at Dru. "That goes for you too!" Maya turns around and runs to the cave. I hope there's not another one of those things in here, or I'm doomed. Wait, the cave would melt if one was in here, so I should be safe.

They proved to be almost usless, each shot did make the blob move back a bit, but that was about it, the holy magic bullet didn’t really harm the blob
