Miandiya went back to the camp after talking with lady nacha. She looked around at the group before sitting back under a tree. She started playing a random tune on her pan flute. AquaMarie @Drumonkey The Wordsmith Myth

Adelaide sat by the foot of the tree watching Miandiya play a tune on her pan flute soon seeing Leon join her and watching also pull out an instrument and play.

Emily heard this looking back out to the forest, she hoped that Maya indeed go out to investigate the lake. She didn't want to assume buy she didn't really trust Nacha all that much at the moment.

Maya walks her way towards the lake. She stays cautious as she moves while thinking over everything she's learned recently. "Path looks safe. Hope the lake's like that too. With that much space, I can do some training." After all, if we ARE going after the empire at some point, I have to make sure I'm as strong as possible so that I can slice right through them!

Maya looks at the dried area. "Awwww dammit. All the water is gone." She said disappointedly. "So much for a nice dip after practice. Oh well." She takes a step towards the dried lake. "Still...I wonder how long it's been like this, or better yet, why it's like this." Maya tilts her head and starts walking. "What if there's something blocking it? I might be able to find it if I follow the trail of what used to be water."

I might be able to find it if I follow the trail of what used to be water."

"Huh? What's that?" She asks herself as she walks to what was blocking the water flow. "Looks like I was right. Whatever this is, it's blocking the water." She takes out her sword. "Nothing a little chopping can't fix."

the mass began to move as it slowly tried to reach for her, and as it moved the rocks around it began to burn and her nose was assaulted by the smell of sulfur and acid

Maya steps back. "Not good. I gotta warn the others." She glares at the mass. "I'll be back to kick your butt for eating my sword...once I figure out how to! You stinky stack of filth!" She yells before turning around and running off. However she suddenly stops. "Wait, if that thing follows me, I'd risk it deteriorating the environment by them. That wouldn't be good. I've got to find a way to stop it, or at least lure it away."

The mass continued to follow her, at a slightly faster then snail pace, but it kept coming regardless
