a supernatural viking m/m romance
m is a fearless monk with an unnatural calmness in the face of chaos and death. he isn’t a normal monk; he was raised in secret by a forgotten order devoted to odin, one that passes down the knowledge of the gods.
plot:
v and his raiding party attack a saxon monastery. v kidnaps m because he sees something in him he has not seen in any monk before. he doesn’t realize it at first, but when m looks at him he feels like he’s completely laid out on a table, exposed and unable to hide. m knows what v is and calls him úlfr konungr—the wolf king. no saxon monk should know the language, and yet m does. m knows that fenrir’s blood flows through v’s blood and has dreamt about v’s death multiple times throughout his life.
v and m are drawn to one another. m knows he should hate v but can’t help but want to be with him.. v burns at m’s touch, and it’s not just desire. their souls recognize one another. the more they resist, the more the gods push them toward one another.
alright. the plot is not set in stone, we can discuss more to make it into our own thing. i am not an expert in anything viking, so if you are expecting accuracy, please do not dm me. this is definitely because i watched a bunch of vikings the last few days.
what I'm looking for:
- I'm looking for someone to play the cursed wolf king.
- dark romance writer. the fewer triggers you have, the better. this is not meant to be a platonic rp.
- someone who will help keep the story going, ready to build the world, etc. im not expecting much either. the basics of world-building is all i ask for.
- a balanced medium burn.
- 500k-1k posts every 3-5 days. i understand shorter posts for scenes with more dialogue. honestly, if you need 7 days then that works. however, if you need longer, you are not the one for me. i generally match cadence, though, otherwise i will post minimum every 2-3 days. if i can't, i will let you know.
- discord for ooc. rp can be public or in pms, but i prefer discord.
- i like to gush over the characters, send pics/music/etc back and forth, and become friends with my partners. if the posts are going to take longer than 3 days, this keeps me fed until the next post. it's not required for us to be friends and talk daily, but a gush session here and there over how cute they're being (killing or just being cute) is much appreciated. it also helps my muse.
