The Wolf And The Dove

Good, not a vegan. Honestly Anath didn't understand those people.

Anath paid Kaia no mind as he scrambled to get his money. Instead he ordered him his pizza, drove up, paid for it himself, and received two steaming hot boxes of pizza. Turning he handed them to Kaia to hold in his lap. Anath might have been a bit of a jerk, but he wasn't a MONSTER. Everyone needed to eat and frankly the kid was going to going to miss dinner time at Anaths house.

Kaia didn't have time to get his money out before two boxes were thrust in his lap, the boy blinking wildly in surprise.

"Th-Thank you," the boy chirped, though he wasn't going to let Anath's one stroke of kindness make him soft. It just wouldn't be right though if he didn't thank him for the food.

"I take it I'm going to be at your place awhile if you're buying us food." Kaia voiced his recognition, shifting as the pizza heated up his legs. "Do you have that much laundry?"

Anath didn't really feel the need to respond to the thanks. It was honestly just something he was thinking of doing before the left the school. He wanted pizza and thought it would be really douchey to eat in front of Kaia while he did his laundry. Owch. That would be just cruel.

" Not really. Just a few hours I am guessing. But in-between the putting in loads and folding there will be time to eat." But Kaia was still doing that whole talking thing. He wasn't being disrespectful but Anath wondered if he had like short term memory or something.

" We will be at my place soon. Util then, zip it."

Kaia gave the other boy a half-hearted glare when he was told to shut up again, closing his mouth tightly and looking back out the window in response. He didn't even say anything that could be considered mouthing off and he was still told to shut it.

He didn't realize he was literally not allowed to say another word. Might as well muzzle me like a real damn dog, Kaia thought to himself bitterly. He sighed internally, watching the town go by as they went to Anath's house.

The car ride was silent until, finally, Anath pulled into his flat. https://smallhousebliss.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/lanefab-20th-highbury-exterior2-via-smallhousebliss.jpg.

" Here we are. I don't mind if you start talking again but lets keep it at a minimum ait?" Anath pulled his keys free of the ignition and opened his door before turning and stepping out of his car. After getting out with his backpack, leaving the pizzas for Kaia to carry, he walked up to his door, pulling out some slim black keys and pushing it into the lock. Anath had his own little flat, thanks to his dad.

After opening the door he stepped inside, flinging his backpack to the side.

" Come on in."

"Oh. Would you rather i bark instead of talk? Considering you're so keen on calling me a dog and you're not a fan of my voice." Kaia shut his mouth with an audible click, realizing he'd gotten snippy with his tormentor yet again. He cursed mentally as he shifted from foot to foot when they finally entered the house, Kaia's eyes roaming around the interior.

He briefly wondered to himself if this was all Anath's and he lived separate from his parents, but he didn't ask. He figured he would just be told to mind his business again. So instead he shifted the pizza boxes and asked,

"Where do you want me to set the pizzas?"

Anath looked over his shoulder at the foolish boy who really did have a problem keeping his thoughts to himself. But he seemed to quickly retreat from his foolish words and instead averted his gaze before asking about the pizzas.

" Just set them on the counter." Anath said simply as he continued into the kitchen and took out some plates from the cabinet.

" And I could very much make you bark like a dog... if that is what you prefer." Anath said, bringing up the little comment Kaia hoped he forgot.

Kaia's made to quickly take the pizzas into the kitchen and set them on the counter, feeling a bit odd still about being in Anath's flat. He startled slightly when he heard Anath revisit his stupid comment and Kaia could've smacked himself.

"I'd personally rather not." Kaia answered carefully, not wanting to edge Anath on. "Where is the laundry you want me to do? I think I'll eat after I get your first load in."

Good answer.

" Alright. Come with me" Anath said simple, shoving his hands back into his pockets before turning and starting to make his way up the stairs. At the top was his room, a loft bedroom with his very nicely made bed with black sheets and a purple devout cover, and then on the right where his sleek black dresser sat. Beside it was a simple black hamper which Anath quickly grabbed and turned handing it to Kaia.

" There we are." He said simply before turning and making his way back down the stairs. Making his way down them and back into the kitchen, Anath led him into the laundry room which was attached to it, and which also led to the garage.

Stepping to the side Anath made room for the boy.

" There we are. I assume you don't need any instruction?"

Kaia followed after Anath like a bit of a lost puppy, his gaze exploring his room before he found a hamper thrust into his hands. He made his way back down the stairs and to the laundry room where Anath indicated it was, stepping in to get his job started.

"No. Thanks. I got it." Kaia dismissed the offer stiffly, opening the washer and sorting out from Anath's hamper what would go in with the first load. He brushed his bangs from his eyes as he began tossing things in, intent on getting this done quickly as possible so he could go home.

He just said almost two sentences without talking back or complaining. Anath was almost impressed.

Nodding, Anath left the dirty work ( no pun intended ) to his house pet, and walked back into the kitchen where he grabbed himself a slice of pizza and a soda. Leaving a plate out for Kaia he walked into his living room and sat back on his couch, setting the pizza on a small coffee table. Good, he would relax a little before doing homework. It was nice being able to find time to just be lazy. Surprisingly Anath was actually a hard worker and didn't have much downtime. But now he had down time and Kaia was doing his laundry. Well that is what the bugger got for mouthing off.

Leaning back in his chair, Anath switched on the tv. What to watch, what to watch. Honestly he wanted to watch something dorky and mindless because honestly he had to do too much critical thinking throughout the day and that shit was tiring.

Kaia didn't have any desire to spend time with Anath while he ate nor while he had downtime, so while the clothes were in the washer he ate away at two slices of pizza, almost moaning in content. At least one measly thing was good about that day.

It was soon after that the clothes were finished their rinse cycle and Kaia tossed them in the dryer, eventually giving in and shrugging off his sweatshirt, a little warm. Once that was all done Kaia carried the basket into the living room, sitting on the sofa and beginning to fold the laundry, essentially pretending that Anath wasn't there. It more or less made the process more bearable when he wasn't bubbling with rage.

Hey Kaia was doing a good job. He was doing what he was asked, wasn't complaining, and wasn't even talking much. Anath liked him like this. Of course he liked him like a house maid but honestly Kaia wasn't so bad. He was so feisty, it made tormenting him just so much moe enjoyable, it was the disrespect Anath could do without.

Anath let him do his thing and didn't bother him. He ended up finding and Wallace and Gromit moving on tv, and enjoyed watching that. Of course he would't mind if Kaia watched it a little himself, he was doing laundry so it only seemed natural to want to watch tv.

Kaia didn't bother with the TV. He wanted nothing more than to be finished already and get out of there. He speculated that having that flat all to himself must be lonely, but Kaia decided it wasn't his duty to help fill a void that probably wasn't even there. Besides, with Anath's looks he probably had no problem finding a date.

When he had everything neatly folded he stood up, holding the basket at his hip like mother's often do. "I'll go put this stuff in your room. And when I come back I hope you'll take me home." On that note he went to the staircase and started up it.

Kaia was doing a goo job. Honestly Anath was impressed. When the little fello put his mind into it, he was sure helpful, and even without the sass. Yes, very impressive.

" I thought that you could probably walk home. Can't be more than 9 miles right?" Anath asked simple a Kaia starting to make his way up the stairs.

" I'm just kidding. I'll take you right home" Anath promised finishing off the last bite of is pizza.

"Do you want me to throw your nice clean laundry down the stairs?" Kaia glared sharply at the other teen when he threatened to make him walk all the way home.

When he backtracked he huffed and continued up the stairs. "That's what I thought."

It was several minutes before he finally came back down the stairs, slipping into the kitchen for another slice of pizza before walking into the living room, munching on it. "Alright. Home now please."
