As the unintentional defacto-leader for everything, it's no surprise that Leola has many qualities fit for an inviting, kind girl. Always the charismatic one, she's been the star of almost everything since she was a child, particularly in sports. In her ballet days, she was always inviting other students to her dorm for a small get-together or to go out into town on the weekends. It's rare that she is rude to anyone or doesn't want to make everyone feel invited to be her friend. Because of this, Leo tends to have a plethora of friends, so don't be offended if she doesn't get your name right.

Beyond this, she's the type of girl to talk constantly about the things she loves. As a child, the topic was ballet, but now it is football. Though there were multiple subjects in between. After being diagnosed with ADHD in the fifth grade, her hyperfixations began to make more sense to the people around her, especially when she'd pick up things so quickly only to drop them later. The only things she's ever spent a substantial amount of time and focus on are ballet and football, ironically. Despite being able to go on for hours about the different things she's taken interest in, Leo is known to always get what she wants and quickly. She has no problem turning on the charm for people, including and especially the staff at Welton. Some might find her consistent luck with adults annoying, but trust. It comes in handy greatly.

What's more annoying about Leo is her consistent optimism. She's a very glass-half-full person. This tends to rub people the wrong way when she offers more positive outlooks to dire situations. It isn't that she doesn't want to hear people talk about their problems- it's just not in her nature to entertain such negative feelings. Always looking to the future, she never dwells on the past or even the present.

First, let it be known that Leo has a slight mary jane problem. The only time she isn't high is when she's on the field or at Dead Poets Society meetings. She's also known as the hook-up queen, never really sticking to one person for very long. This is primarily because of her affection for ROLE 2, who she's been in love with since their freshman year. It also doesn't help that Leola definitely has a strong fear of intimacy. Her anxiety makes it difficult for her to navigate social situations without some form of bravado. Therefore, it makes moments where she's not in a group setting very difficult to manage. Bearing her soul is not her forte.

On top of that, Leo is a bit of a daredevil. You have to be to go from competitive ballet to football, on top of being a witch. Throwing caution to the wind, she constantly thinks she can survive any situation, no matter how difficult. The only time Leo gets herself into trouble is when she lets her ego get in the way, making her god-complex startup. The only thing worse than an anxious Leola is one that thinks she's the best thing since sliced bread. Better yet, the worst version of Leo is the one that has both an inflated ego and a competitive streak. On its own, her competitiveness is helpful and gives her the drive to complete any task she sets herself to. However, sometimes it hurts more people than it helps, especially if they're on the football team with her or knew her during her time at Vaganova.

early life

When Leola was born, someone died. Well, to be precise, her mother died several weeks after Leo was born due to stage four liver cancer. This was unexpected, but it set Leo up for a life of always looking forward and never looking back. It was easy to be tempted to look back at her life, blame herself for being born. However, she's a true realist, knowing that she wasn't at fault for her mother's death. Instead, she kept moving forward and dreaming of all the wild possibilities that she could do with her life. That's how her interest with ballet came about. Leola took to her athleticism quickly, unknowing that it was part of her abilities as a witch. Born in Germany, her father and she lived together away from The Coven until her father was compelled to return home by his mother-in-law's best friend's request. His mother-in-law being Daisy Goode, and her best friend being Blair Blanc, the Supreme. She had requested for Daisy's young granddaugther to return home, given Blair had no other connection to Daisy since her daughter died. This forced Adrian, Leola's father, to reveal to her the true nature of their family.

At just the age of five, Leo learned about her being a witch. It didn't come too much of a surprise to her, given weird occurrences were always happening around her. When she was four, she caught her father whispering to himself in some strange language (which she would later learn is Latin) before their power came back on. There were a few other instances, given she saw her father telekinetically move things all the time as a child. One time, he even caught her before she fell down the stairs of their apartment. When her father explained, as best as he could given how young she was, that they were a different, secret kind, filled with Magic, she quietly pondered what this news meant before shouting with glee "Shrek was right!"

Moving to Vermont was a strange experience, given Leo left her home country at only five years old. Meeting so many new people at once was overwhelming for such a young girl, so it was no surprise she seemed shy for the first few months she lived with her grandmother's best friend. It took Adrian a few months to gather the funds to buy a house in the gated neighborhood many of The Coven members lived in. Fortunately, he found a house just down the block from Blair's. During their stay, Leo had found a friend and elder-figure in Blair Blanc. After they were settled in a house of their own, Leola started to bust out of her shell and act like the younger version of the girl everyone knows and loves today.

later life

Childhood was fairly easy on Leola. She quickly made friends with ROLE 3 and ROLE 4 before she was shipped off to Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia at the age of eight. She was one of the youngest students there. During school vacations, she would come home to her best friends along with visiting with the Supreme and her father. The Coven never felt like a true 'organization' to her. It felt like home and that every witch was part of her family. Sure, she made friends at Vaganova. However, she was always so consumed by competition and being the best. Things started to take a turn for the worse when she turned thirteen. She hadn't been diagnosed with ADHD yet and she started failing her academic classes. If she didn't maintain a high enough GPA, she'd lose her partial-scholarship. The pressure was on, and for a thirteen year old girl, it was too much to handle. All too quickly, she burned out like a star, hurting her knee to the point of needing surgery and losing her scholarship in the process. Tumbling towards the Earth, she left Vaganova and returned to Vermont.

Finishing eighth grade with her closest friends, getting diagnosed, and being near her father made all the difference in the world. Everything was normal and on the up until her father and she got into a car accident. She survived the initial crash, getting out of the car and tugging her father out of the crushed and burning vehicle. The motorcyclist that rammed into their car was across the street. Ignoring him for the time being, Leola stuck her ear to her father's chest. No sound. Tears were welling in her eyes as she wrapped herself around his body and tried to hold his stomach together, willing him to still be alive. Perhaps regretting not learning CPR before now. She felt something leave her body, though she couldn't tell what. It felt like wind passing through her. Then, her father coughed and looked around bewildered. His eyebrow was cut, but the huge gap in his stomach was healed. Adrian looked at his daughter with fresh eyes, more so confused about her instead of the car. He mumbled about how there hadn't been a witch with that power since Daisy. Standing up slowly, he gently grabbed Leo's hand and took her to the biker that lay dead on the side of the road. "Can you fix him?" he asked. Silently, Leo went to do it. The biker's skull was in pieces, and she looked towards her father and motioned for him to bring him to help her. The wind feeling came back, and soon the motorist was alive and shaking off the wooziness. He was still bleeding from his head a little, but not as much as before. Leola had the power of resurgence, causing great celebration amongst The Coven (even as the image of her dead father scarred her).

even later life

Once her powers started to show, The Coven insisted that Leola attend Welton, even when she was offered a place at a dance school in Florida. Welton was the place every witch had cultivated their powers, and Leo would be no different. She didn't complain, however, as she came into her own at Welton. It wasn't long before she switched from pointe shoes to cleats, joining her football team. As a linebacker, she proved herself as an integral member of the team and came into immense popularity amongst the jocks and those who attended football games. Her confidence only grew with her powers, as even the members of DPS began to think of her as a leader. By the end of sophomore year, she was asked to be captain. Her place at Welton Academy was unmistakable, as her energy enthralled everyone and made her an irrestible person to be around. Leola became Leo, a powerhouse.

Personality: She is shy, introverted, a bookworm, has trouble making friends due to her shyness, and can't ask for help EVER (even when the world is falling down around her). Once you get to know her though, she is bubbly, naive, the worrywart friend, quirky and won't ever see her without a smile on her face (no matter how small). Lyanna always makes time for her family and friends, sometimes to the detriment of her well being. She often forgets to eat and sleep because of her intense study schedules. How Their Personality Plays Into Their Powers: Being the bookworm and all-knower (self proclaimed) that she is, she endeavors to perfect absolutely everything she sets out to learn. She is the perfect example of Master-of-few.

Background: She was born to a Native American mother and a Japanese father while abroad visiting her fathers family in Japan. Her father is the CEO to the Usami family corporation in Japan. She was born prematurely (at seven months) after her mother was induced into labor due to the stress of flying and visiting her new in-laws. Her fathers side of the family hated that their son married a woman of color and threatened to disown him if he did not divorce her.Simply put, it ws not long after the family disowned their only son, and left the newly married couple and newborn baby with nothing. They immediately took a plane back to the states, where the little family stayed on the reserve with Lyannas mother's family. Working odd jobs and trying to go to school, the couple was able to (even through all the adversity) pull through the hard times. Her father is currently finishing medical school while her mother makes ends meet with her nurse salary and her stipend from the government. That's how Lyanna (Milo) was raised. In a really big family surrounded by highly conservative members, while also being a bit unorthodox (in that they all live in the same house).

To the great disappointment of his parents, Otto does not do well academically. It isn't that they don't care about school or that they were trying to do badly; they just can't focus on it. As much as they'd like to get good grades, they're easily distracted from their studies and end up doing badly on tests.

The only class that Otto can steadily do well in is English - Literature, specfically. He loves poetry and story-telling, as well as the analysis of both of these things. They also do well in Practical Law, despite their tendency to shoplift.

least favorite class

Math is certainly not their strong suit, and neither is Latin or History. It can seem ignorant the way that Otto is disinterested in past events for humans and witches alike, but it's just not what he's interested in. And as much as he enjoys various other langauges, his linguistic capabilities do not extend to Latin; he is atrocious at it.

Divination - Being someone who is observant and often learns a lot of things about someone simply by watching, it's not surprising that if Otto wants to know everythnig about someone/something, he can do so with his magic as well.

Lie Detection - Being a talented liar himself, it's not surprising that Otto is incredibly good at picking up on dishonesty in someone else.

Truth Enchantment - A connection to being able to tell when someone is lying, Otto can also easily amend that by forcing them to tell the truth when questioned.

Concilium - Being a bit of a manipulator, it makes sense that this skill is only yet to be developed for Otto.
Transmutation - Otto often tries to escape conflicts of any manner, so to disappear into thin air would be very useful for him.
The Sight - Alternatively, the Sight isn't really something that Otto wants. It makes sense for him to develop it, however, as he would be very good at keeping what he sees about the future to himself if need be, given his secretive nature.

Otto is a quiet kind of person. If it weren't for his choice in clothing, it's likely that he would fade into the background of life. His quiet nature makes him an extremely good listener, and someone who is very observant. He is a sweet person, who is not easy to temper and who has a generally very tight grip on their emotions. He isn't necessarily ambitious, but when truly passionate about something, he will work hard for it. Otto is an very good person to talk to; whether venting or spilling secrets. He is incredibly good at keeping a secret, no matter how serious it might be. He rarely fights with anybody, verbally or physically. They are never the centre of attention and they are okay with that... at least, that's what everybody else thinks.

Otto, although not to a great extent, is a little manipulative. They know that they are sweet and that everyone sees them as innocent and definitely uses it to their advantage. Growing up with his parents, he's also become a compulsive liar. He often had to hide or lie about anything that was deemed as 'wrong' or that wasn't allowed and it's carried on as he's grown up. They are easily distracted if forced to focus on something they don't particularly care about (i.e. school). As someone who bottles up their emotions, Otto is also unreadable and it's very hard to figure out how they're actually feeling; it's also very likely that one day all the bottled up emotions will boil over and Otto will lash out. Many people wouldn't guess it, but he's also paranoid about how other people think of him; particularly the people he cares about. No one knows anything about Otto, really, becuase he keeps almost everything a secret. It's not like he's actively hiding anything; he just never tells anybody anything.

Otto's parents, being moderately influential politicians, have always been very strict with him. He's lived a very sheltered life since he was young, even if he didn't realise it when he was only a child. It took a long time for Otto to even actually understand what it was their parents did as politicians, but it never interested them enough to actually really learn about it; much to the dismay of their parents.

It was only really when Otto was in his early teens that he started to become upset by what his parents stood for and supported as politicians; from then, it was an easy decision to decide to slowly rebel, mostly with his appearance. His parents still sheltered him to an extent, but allowed him small victories every now and then to (hopefully) appease him - which, of course, it never did. He became very close with his Uncle when he was around 12, and, on one particular occasion, his Uncle revealed to him that he may be a witch. At the time, Otto just thought it was cool, and that it was even cooler when it turned out to be true. However, their uncle explained to them the dangers of letting anyone else know about his abilities, and Otto took that very seriously; thus began a talent at keeping secrets and lying.

Hoping to bring Otto onto their side, his parents made a compromise with him. He'd be sent to a boarding school where he could act as any other student. He could dress how he wanted, act how he wanted - within reason, because they were still stern - and he wouldn't have to live with them. The only condition was that he couldn't speak outwardly about his own opinion on their politics. Otto, acting selfishly, agreed. His uncle, he would learn later, was the ony who came up with the idea to join Welton - he wanted Otto to be part of the Dead Poets Society.

Perhaps Michelangelo’s most prominent personality trait is his pride. From it, an unending source of confidence and autonomy can constantly be found flowing throughout every action he performs. Even as a child, Mikey was known to have an unwavering spirit. So much so, that its infectious nature often inspires and gathers those around him. To this end, Mic’ can jump between groups with relative ease. While not considered necessarily “popular” due to his antics and shenanigans, virtually everyone knows him regardless if they want to or not.

What’s more, Angelo is a source of unbound chaos. His natural talent and limitless ego have molded him into the perfect reactionary individual. Michelangelo’s pride is also his biggest weakness, often causing him to lash out destructively when he feels slighted. Though not in the most obvious ways, but instead through the subtle means of social engineering. Often swaying friends against each other, or even outright making someone’s life a constant hell out of a stubborn vendetta. The closer a person is to him, the more erratically he’s prone to react.

This is directly due to his codependent nature, often viewing those within his inner circle as an extension of himself. His chaotic tendencies and even easygoing attitude make the threat all the more insidious, as it’s often hard to know exactly what Mikey’s truly thinking at any given moment. Michelangelo was born eight years after his parents renounced their affiliation with The Coven, and had instead taken residence in New York City. Once proud loyalists to the organization, the pair had left to escape the politics and tradition that shrouded it. The hustle and bustle of the Big Apple were more than enough to obscure two witches, but the conception of a magical newborn changed their plans drastically. Birth in itself is a magical feat, but the potential within their child was more than enough to attract unnecessary attention. For this reason, they moved to Woodstock in order to prepare for the birth, and shroud the event from peering eyes.

Of course, what they hadn’t been expecting was the news that the Supreme’s own power had diminished the day their child had been born. Still, the couple refused to return to Vermont. They raised Michelangelo in Woodstock for six years, before Witch Hunter Sightings began escalating in their nearby area. For his safety, they sent Mikey to live with his extremely traditional Grandmother so that he could receive protection within The Coven’s borders. Though, the agreement allowed for visitation rights and family vacations.

From the age of six and up, Michelangelo was in the care of Elizabeth Vernon: his grandmother, new legal guardian, and Matriarch of the Vernon Estate. The woman’s overbearing nature was the very reason his parents refused to return to Vermont themselves, instead opting to rescue him from her clutches as often as they could. Unfortunately, it was never enough. Under her control, Michelangelo was groomed to become the next Supreme and figurehead of their family legacy. Every day of his stay, he was personally tutored on the nature of magic. Relentless grueling to showcase his power, and furthermore to control it. As a traditionalist, Elizabeth was cruel in her teaching methods, often using starvation or beatings to encourage the desired results.

And she got them, as after all Michelangelo was quite the magical child. Under her warped supervision, he manifested several abilities in his youth that were uncommon for those his age. It only served to make things worse, as it cemented in her mind that pushing him was the right method of inducing productivity. All it did in the long run, was sow the seeds of chaos that were burning within him like hot coals. Though, meeting ROLE 1 and ROLE 4 in his childhood made it easier to bury such pain and pressure. It was through these two that Michelangelo would become the wisecracking troublemaker he’s known to be, as his earliest interactions with them involved crude and corny jokes.

For the first time in a long time, things changed. His parents popped back into the picture to do more than their scheduled Holiday Retreats, demanding that Michelangelo be put in the Public School System for Middle School instead of being mystically homeschooled as he had for his elementary years. And he was, which came as a relief to all parties except for the Matriarch. Mikey was able to breathe in school and learned who he was outside of the structuring he’d been forced to adhere to at the Vernon Estate. Of course, he was still held to higher standards, but it gave him the opportunity to escape. And upon discovering his aptitude for Transmutation in the middle of Sixth Grade, Michelangelo learned to make the most of every second, by not being there.

Even while half-attending school, the hammered in education his Grandmother had forced into his brain allowed Mikey to maintain his grades while skipping classes. It’s during this transitionary period, that he discovered his love for partying and in turn, chaos. With a majority of it spilling over into his Eighth Grade year when he was caught drunk and smoking on campus, causing a scandal around the town that made Elizabeth go ballistic. That Summer, his parents took him away for the entire break to spend time in Woodstock. It was during this period, they helped craft him into the laid back and adaptive individual he needed to be if he was going to survive for another four years.

even later life

When Michelangelo returned to Vermont, his Grandmother enrolled him at Welton Academy immediately and filled his courseload with the hardest classes the school had to offer. Along with throwing him headfirst into various clubs in order to suffocate him once more under her stressful grasp. This time around, however, Angelo could roll with the punches. Not just maintaining his grades, but exceeding expectations in all of his courses while still slipping away. When he did get caught, he worked his way out of any disciplinary measure that would involve his Grandmother. Keeping the worst of his actions out of her sight. As for the various clubs, interestingly he found that he actually excelled and enjoyed them. Michelangelo became a diva on the stage and a skilled musician with a guitar. Even putting his entertaining talents to better use with the construction of a band, much to his Grandmother’s displeasure.

After meeting in their childhood, Otto and Michelangelo remained friends even after the departure of Leola when she was shipped off to Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. The two grew a bond, that interestingly didn't appear to be much to others on the outside, but in fact, was an incredibly synchronized connection. As opposites with many similarities, they opposed each other in ways that fit together like jigsaw pieces. Both hid away a great deal of their lives but found they were able to confide sensitive information in each other. Michelangelo, more so than Otto, at least verbally. But in turn, the Vernon-boy learned to know much about his companion through what wasn't said. Both share a love for Mint Ice Cream, and while Michelangelo is a great proponent of meat, he respects his friend’s preference for vegetarian dishes.

She's a rather small framed girl, though most of her weight is muscle. Stronger than she seems at a glace, Honey is still limited by her size in terms of pure physical force, but benifited when it comes to speed and agility.

Clothing styles

The girl often wears whatever she's told to, either by her parents or any other adults around her. Though she doesn't hate the things they make her wear, when not under the thumb of others, she expresses herself in extreme casual dress and comfort clothing. Not used to choice, it can take her a long time to actually pick something out however.

Honey is an incredibly kind and thoughtful girl, she feels strongly for others despite her lack of social ability. Often hoping for the best and silently cheering on those around her even they never notice, and helping those in need when a chance arrives. Conflicting directly with her family given job of killing witches. Something that had deeply affected her, a clash of inner turmoil which seems never ending, yet to Honey, her guilt and spite of her life and actions she was forced to take, was proof that she had a heart.

Despite the pain caused by her family and mission of murder, she does understand that it has made her a very determined and steeled person. She works incredibly hard, if not overworking. Her grades reflect this, as well as her garden. Whether she wants or needs to do something, it will be done to the best of her ability with no room for error.

Honey is actually, though rarely seen by others, rather bright and positive. She's just a normal girl at heart, despite the situations she finds herself in. Born into royalty, forced to be a witch hunter, and now being a witch herself. Outside of all these pressures, the girl is one who loves to just enjoy life carelessly, to let loose all of the weight on her shoulders and come into full bloom.

Seven Wonders
Concilium - Barely aware of her abilities and certainly unable to properly use them without more practice, Honey is prone to accidently finding herself alone as she unconsciously makes others avoid her. Similarly, people sometimes act a bit off around her, especially when her emotions run high, it may take her a bit to realize she's causing the shift which causes it's own problems.

Transmutation - Translating herself across spatial dimensions is a power Honey is more used to then most of her other abilities, though only because how frequently she she'd accidently shift, sometimes just a few inches to ending up hundreds of feet away, the usual locations were a nearby forest or her own garden. Especially when she was upset, often when on the phone with her family or during one of her many nightly crying fits.

Uncommon
Mastery of the Elements - Out of all her powers, this one seems to come most naturally to her, despite being a bit more unique. Feeling the world around her and using it to communicate instead of with words, understanding the elements in a way her plants do, a bridging connection between her and them. Yet fire remains outside her grasp, she can't tell if fire is impossible to control because of her own natural limits, or a factor more intimate. Anytime she tries to breach the boundary of communication with fire, she's met with searing pain and repulsion too great to overcome. Feeling a dry heat washing over her, followed by a cacophony of hisses and crackled pops, as if the element was taunting poor girl's soul; whispers from the etherial embodyment of flame itself telling her she doesn't belong there.

Black Widow - A power she has no idea of, and no control over, though curiously, it only activates with men, and she's in for a rude awakening.

Potioncrafting - With little knowledge of most magic practices, creating potions is something that comes so easily to Honey. She may not know every detail or even how it all works in the first place, but when she applies the ingredients, especially plants and herbs, she feels guided, as it was muscle memory long forgotten. Honey started testing things on her own, often with herbs found in her own garden which seemed to only make it even more trivial, and jotting down notes, not even sure if whatever potions she made were common knowledge to witches or wholly unique breakthroughs in potioncraft.

There are few things Honey loves in this world more than the world itself, at least, it's bounty of nature. Her garden is a testament to that fact, taking up her entire front and back yards. Even inside her rather expensive yet quaint home one may accidently mistake it for another garden, and it very may well be one, and while she's not as used to animals, many of them tend to water out of the forests and burroughs to her abode. When they do, she makes sure they're fed, and often offers her own yield to them, as she's not really trying to grow anything for profit, she has more than enough money.

Other than nature, Honey also has express love of books, reading, and learning. Resigning herself to libraries and bookstores whenever she's not in her garden. Even if she is, once her tasks are over with, she'll often just spend time amongst her green companions with her nose in a book. It doesn't really matter what kind. Be they textbooks or fantasy novels, simply reading anything is enjoyable. Writing as well, though most of her penmanship is put towards documenting and organizing her plethora of plants.

When she was growing up and training to kill, her best and most favorite skill was gymnastics. Part of her strict education, but also one of many programs to make her a more effective huntress, in effort to counter witches with supernatural athletic ability. A vain attempt to keep up but talso to prove that the average human was capable of doing so.

Honey can be a warm, happy, and carefree girl. However, that side of her is rather rare, especially around others, often she keeps herself closed off to people. It can be difficult for her to talk to people in an honest and open way, despite being rather good at talking to others, being sociable, it's all a lie. A false personality she wears incognito in an attempt to get close to, or information from her targets before killing them.

The weight of murder holds heavy on her mind, and she recognizes it as another way her family has hurt her, while also knowing very well how much she hurt others, their friends, families, and more. Honey is rather scared of how people might react to almost anything she does, be it her family for failure or 'wasting time' doing anything other than her main task, or the people she meets on these jobs what they might do if they unveiled her facade. The constant inner turmoil has made her rather fragile, over time has slowly become more mute in her expression, even her usual fake cheery cover had been steadily replaced with this default gloom. Turning less into a cover, and more into a true part of herself, the mask she wore having fused to her face.

A side effect of effect of this empathetic shift in personality can sometimes manifest as somewhat rude, snarky, and generally bitchy behavior. These outbursts only causing her to feel ashamed and add to the cycle of this eternal conflict of mind.

When Honey does eventually let herself be vulnerable, often in her bed late at night she'll spend the mental freedom in tears. Sobbing profusely until she eventually falls a sleep. A somewhat common occurrence, especially after she's taken someone's life.

This constant flux and shift of personality from her dimming true happiness to her deeply rooted anger and anguish, all contribute to an identity crisis which seems to be coming to a point.

Seeds of blood

Born as Heonmi in Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul Korea under the 비-성계 royal family name, which has been leading an international clan of witch hunters for the last two hundred years. Heonmi's mother had set her daughter up to live a fairly normal life for a Princess in the modern age, not wanting the child to face the harsh upbringing she herself had to endure. Though this changed when Heonmi's older sister was killed in a series of events suspected to be a curse of some kind. The Emperor, not wanting to take chances with such a curse decided to kill his only other living daughter, denoting her part of a 'tainted' batch, and he would birth better offspring with a new wife.

Though he never got the chance.

Heonmi watched her mother murder her father without hesitation or any hint of remorse, the small girl watched his blood pool down the steps of the palace throne room. She never liked him, she barely knew him. What truly left an impression was the look in her mother's eyes. It was the last time she had ever seen her mother's eyes be so.... kind.

After that, the Empress married the wife that was to originally replace her, and Heonmi was, as the only living heir now taking her sister place. She was to be trained immediately and put on the path to become a fully fledged huntress. It was clan rule that the as part of a royal family heading the clan she was to be the prime example of excellence for everyone else. A fundamental principle of the clan is to prove that humans can match witches without their paranatural heretic abilities. To kill a witch is prove they do not belong on this earth, and that one has overcome the pleague of magicks.

It was imperative Heonmi held the highest standard of human ability. Failure was not an option, no matter the cost.

Sprouting is painful

Eight. Heonmi, now going by Honey, had killed eight witches.
She had been training with Mi-Sun, her mentor and the best hunter outside the royal family. A woman rumored to have exterminated two hundred witches so far, a perfect example for what Honey should aspire to be. The older huntress was stern but not in the same way her family was, and actually seemed to care for her, possibly the only reason Honey kept going in the first place. The two traveled the world together, hunting for a rumored Supreme. Something most of the clan had almost no knowledge of, as getting information out of witches was nearly impossible. Everything in the clan was on a need to know basis, less a witch were to manipulate one of them and unveil their deepest secrets.

Remaining undercover was major part of their operations for this reason alone. Something Honey had gotten rather good at, and despite the growing guilt and lack of expression she showed her parents decided to push forward, as those factors didn't detract from her rapidly increasing reliability and prowess as a huntress. Mi-Sun, in contrast deeply concerned, but had no say in the matter, and continued pushing Honey harder on their missions. Having previously allowed the girl to indulge in pretending to be an average teenager, Mi-Sun was now forced to stifle those freedoms in favor for more training, more death.

She blooms in the dark

On the cusp of adulthood, and now with a total kill count of twenty three, Honey was going to be, for the first time, completely on her own. A chance to prove herself, to find this supposed Supreme, and do exactly what she'd be trained to do. Though, because of this unknown variable, the undercover element of the operation was more important than ever. Meaning unlike Honey's previous targets where she had less and less connection as it wasn't as necessary with her growing skills, the girl would instead of a much more prolonged and established residence, literally and figuratively. Given a large private, and rather empty estate on the edge of town. She would operate almost entirely on her own other than a few check ins from local clan members as well as scheduled contact with her family. Otherwise, she was to remain incognito until the special target could be identified. Then it was clear what had to be done.

The situation is everything but ok.

Honey's disdain for the clan has been growing as she continued to do their bidding. At some point she had begun to start recognizing that witches were more human than even her own family. Yet everything was still so ingrained in her, she continued to follow their lead as it was all she knew how to do. Now she had to just...Wait. Be normal. Her entire purpose was now to simply be a girl, not a weapon. The irony was suffocating.

Even more, Honey's training was now complete. This next mission solely up to to her, and her alone. Mi-Sun was going to return to her retirement, but before leaving she sat down with the princess and expressed the regrets of what she'd turned the poor girl into. Confessing that things weren't as black and white as they seemed, but Honey had already figured that out, however, getting confirmation and consolidation from Mi-Sun was something she needed to hear. For the first time, Honey cried in front of another person other than her Mothers, and for the first time, she was held. Something the girl's mother hadn't done since she became the heir to the throne. She sobbed profusely, screamed until her throat hurt, and lashed out violently, yet Mi-Sun never let go. Not even for a moment, as the light rain outside suddenly turned torrential, mirroring the teen's emotions.

Instead of ignoring or yelling, the older woman's embrace tightened non-threateningly, keeping Honey from accidently hurting herself, while whispering sincere comforts the young girl only dreamed of hearing from her parents. The two rocking in each others arms until Honey eventually exhausted herself to sleep, not even noticing that they we no longer in the house, but the backyard garden which they had worked on together to set up days prior. Even as the rain began to return to a normal drizzle the two remained dry, the water refusing to interrupt their moment.

When Honey woke the next morning, Mi-Sun revealed that her own wife was in fact a witch, and that it was almost certain Honey herself, was one as well. The woman had suspicions, but the events of the night prior was solid confirmation. It was even possible Honey was the rumored Supreme, a chilling thought which Mi-Sun kept to herself, promising to keep in contact and return at some point. Knowing full well that she would have to leave as planned and Honey would have to continue her mission to keep up appearances to the clan. Abandoning Honey was both the best and worst thing Mi-Sun could do for her at this time and then-

Just like that.

Honey was alone.

A witch.

A huntress.

A girl.

An impossible combination of contradictions.

Honey didn't know what she was.

Doesn't know what she is.

What she's supposed to do now. At some point she'll either be found out by either side of this conflict. Forced to kill...Someone. It could be anyone.

It could even be her.

She was fucked.

Environmental Science, it's pretty fun all things considered. I rather like biology as well. Though group projects present a unique...Challenge.

Least Favorite Class?

Psychology... It's not a bad class at all. In fact, I actually really like my teacher.

It's just. I'm starting to understand how fucked up my own psyche is. How much my parents used it against me. The clan, my own mentor. Everyone.

Where do you live?

On the edge of Sunset Pine Road. A bit out of the way. Quiet, right against the forest, and lots of natural life. I rather like it, though, I kind of wish someone would come visit me and actually want to see me of their own volition.

시나 (Shina)

Shina looks almost exactly like her daughter, differentiated only by the many markers of age and their difference in dress. The way the two speak are rather at odds as well. Honey is soft spoken and soothing with her voice, even if unintentional. Shina on the other hand projects force behind every word, even when speaking quietly. She has no room for kindness, not with her only daughter being so close to acheiving on of the biggest steps in their goal towards the extiction of witches.

Valentine

Originally chosen to sit on the throne beside the late Emperor, Valentine found herself in wed with his wife Shina instead. Though the two were differenting in their backgrounds and personalities, they were still very much on the same page, and forged a well working relationship with each other. Valentine finds that she rather prefers Shina over the previous head of the royal family. Much more put together and vastly more effective as a leader.

Mi-Sun

Mi-Sun much like Honey had grown up being to kill witches, however, the mental drawbacks of these actions never reached her. Not just negatively, but positively either. She never felt pride nor sorrow in her single minded missions. Not until she met her wife Mina and retired. Though when called upon to train Honey she knew she had no choice. Getting back into murdering witches, training someone who was herself a witch, to murder witches. It was disheartening and for the first time Mi-Sun felt bad. Still, her wife, a witch herself, understood the situation and supported her. Now glad that the two of them could get back to their lives together.
