Founded in 1962, St. Joan of Arc's Catholic School opened it's doors and has since been dedicated to providing a proper Catholic education. With over 50 years of tradition, our values and intrinsic nature persevere and we continue to enrich our community.
Trouble is brewing at St. Joan's. The new school year has begun, and with it, the crucible of something new and dangerous. At first, only teasing and ridicule, directed at the "witches" of St. Joan's. But soon, a body surfaces. A dead student, and the whispers amongst the student body: is it true? A group of witches in their holy school?
And the rumors are true: there is a coven within the walls of their school. Since their first year, a group of girls considered outcasts for one reason or another were often ridiculed and teased, treated as the walking jokes of the school. The bitches of St. Joan's, the wicked witches, the freaks. While some were natural witches at birth, others became more and more interested in the pursuit the knowledge, the existence of magic and how to practice it if possible. Soon, they became a coven, focused on each element in nature. Fire, water, earth, air, and spirit.
Despite most students regarding them as jokes, the coven soon learned they had a stalker. A curious student who asked too much, watched too closely, and discovered their little secret.
When the body of Meg McCullough was discovered, their stalker knew what they were. And despite nobody believing them just yet, the coven knows they are in dire need of their fifth member. With each element, working together, the girls dream of invoking powers never seen before to finally create the lives that they want.
There's one key element of magic that the girls are too power-hungry to see: whatever you put out, comes back times three.

1. Of course, follow all RPN rules. Being kind, courteous, and respectful helps us make a great group roleplay together. Please be aware this roleplay will include: themes of witchcraft, Satanism, both religious and anti-religion themes, and murder. You must be 18+ to join.
2. This will be what most would consider a 'literate/advanced' roleplay, where we expect good grammar, literacy, and 500+ word count multi-paragraph replies. Not a super harsh rule, but please know what to expect. No one line replies.
3. We're looking to accept five people max! There will be three roles open for the witches in the coven, and if folks want to join with characters who are regular students and such, that will be allowed as well. Please know that roles are not first come first served! Each person may only apply for one coven member, but other characters have no limit.
4. Discord is required! We will have a Discord server set up for easy OOC chatting once applications close, so please be aware of that.
5. Diversity is always encouraged, but please do your research and be respectful when writing about cultures/religions/practices that you are unfamiliar with!
