"Honey!!! Wheres my Supersuit?"
Little is known about the areas Beyond the shores of the lakes. Aside from the fact that its mostly desert. Many tribes still call this area home, however the warlords own the center. Their officially marked territory Extends a few miles west of Wetmore, All the way to a few miles east of The city 500. Everything between those two cities and between lakes Superior and Michigan Are owned by the Warlords. Thunder bay Is Commanded by the Rival Tribe called “Maelstrom”. With Milica And Duluth Are ruled by the “Mechanics”. Cleveland, freemont, and Coldwater are the Cities of the Largest tribe in the lake territories The “Waterfolk”. Sarnia is A single city run by the People of the same name the “Sarnians”. Blind River, North bay, & Owen sound are all small tribe cities that have banded together to become the “trinity” however their individual tribes are the “River walkers”, “The Whalon”, and “The 86’s”. Unfortunately Lake Eerie was Rendered Fatally Radioactive after a direct strike from a basalt bomb.
While dry and oddly warm the area of the great lakes is still relatively usable. Crops are hard to grow but not impossible and the Green patches are often occupied by livestock and fought tooth and nail for by the respective tribes. Of which there was initially over a hundred but over time the numbers have decreased to the Eight that are currently known and each tribes leader would like to see theirs the only power in the area. Oddly enough New species of animals seem to be sprouting up in the area and even plants are starting to make a comeback. Life seems to be trying its hand at flourishing once again and some of it even seems to have copied mankind and are developing strange abilities. The combination of Tribal enemies, Hazardous Conditions, and Strange lifeforms has made the area notably hard to map out, though the Warlords enjoy the most well drawn out maps of the Eight tribes.
