Midnight Paragon
Savior of Dusk
A cloudy haze hangs itself over the now quiet battlefield. An eerie atmosphere fills the improvised graveyard of which over two hundred men, Knights of Arch-King Markis, lay still, the grass of the field they fought in stained a sickening crimson. There is slight movement as one of the bodies shifts, and tries desperately to crawl forward, away from the carnage. It's efforts were in vain; a large, black, metal boot finds a new home on the back of the near-dead Knight, who let's out a pained screech. The boot moves towards the Knight's stomach and pushes him over onto his back, and the Knight begins to beg for mercy. He is answered by a bright, sizzling red blade making his insides it's new sheath, and the Knight lays there with a wide open mouth, screaming in silent pain. The light leaves his eyes and the sword is pulled out, and with a flick of a switch on it's handle, the bright red blade fizzles away until there is nothing but it's handle remaining. The owner of the blade laughs lowly to himself, and the huge armored black figure looks out to the distance, in the direction of the Arch-Kings Castle.
"You can't stop me, Markis. I'm coming for you. Even if I have to make a bridge out of the bodies you throw at me to do it."

Howdy, everybody. This is kind of a reboot of an old RP I made that didn't really get that far cause the site changed and things got wacky. Anyway, this is a fantasy/sci-fi type of RP. The plot revolves around two factions; the Anarchists and the Kingdom of the Arch-King. The Anarchists are made up of people who wish to see the Kingdom dismantled and the Kings removed from power, and let the people govern themselves. The Kingdom of the Arch-King is a faction made up of people loyal to the Crown and wish to see their way of life preserved. Both sides have reasons for their purpose, and the people that fight for them have their own reasons for joining. This RP takes place during the time of war between these two factions on the continent of Malvus, an extremely large continent filled with all types of biomes, species, peoples, and provinces.
Your characters will have to make one of three choices in this story. The first is to join the Anarchists, led by my character Kellum, a former Paladin of the Knights. The second is to defend the Kingdom and aid the Arch-King Markis, an old but virtuous ruler. The third and last option is to remain neutral, and try to help end the war without taking a side. Be warned; choosing to remain neutral makes you a target of both factions, as they both sort of share the mentality of "If you're not with us, you're against us."
The sci-fi aspect of this is the introduction of Plazma, an extremely rare source of power that usually comes in Crystal form. With some know-how and a bit of magical experience, one can use Plazma to their benefit, such as the making of powerful weapons and armor.
Plazma itself is not magic, but more of a byproduct of it, first created in a magical experiment by an ancient warlock who sought for some type of mobile power source. His experiments yielded crystals with immense energy outputs, and his discovery is now common knowledge, though the process of making Plazma is extremely long and arduous.
Magic does exist in this world and comes in a variety of forms, some of which can be enhanced by the use of Plazma. If you wish to make a magic user, feel free to get creative with it.
Weapons made with Plazma are stronger than the hardest steel available, which makes them extremely sought after. There are few blacksmiths who make them, but their work is well known. Armor, when reinforced with Plazma, is also shown to be much sturdier than leading armors on the market, but is much more expensive and difficult to work with.
There is also a multitude of races on Malvus. Your character can be anything from a regular human to a golem crossbreed and everything in between, so long as it is believable.
So, if this catches your interest, let me know. I would need a minimum of about five or six people to create a character sheet for this.
